Excellent job. Matt pays attention to details. If customer isnt happy goes the distamce to make them happy. The custom spice rack he made is beautiful and matchs the cabinets. I have Wellborn cabinets, and Matt installs Wellborn Cabinets. When issues came up with cabinets , he knew exacly what hjad to be done to fix the issue. Highly recommend.

They have done more than one job. They did a great job and I am very happy with them. The workers were very good and I was very pleased. There were complications but it was not due to MCW Carpentry; it is an old house. I would use them again. They worked for around six months and they were here every day.

He was wonderful, and I might have him come back out to do work. The finished project was great. The price was a little high but the work really does look terrific.

They did a fantastic job, the quality of their work was outstanding and their respect for being in my house was wonderful. My only complaint is that they didn't quite live up to their calendar - the work went on for more than it was scheduled for.

This has been an ongoing problem for 15 years or more. We'd all gotten used to dealing with doors that were difficult to open and close without lifting or forcing, etc. MCW evaluated the problem and made their recommendations. We were comfortable with them because they have considerable experience restoring older properties. Others had recommended we just replace all the doors with pre-hung "home depot" type units. But we wished to preserve the original doors. And they agreed. They showed up as scheduled, worked quickly and quietly, and even waited while I obtained some special door hardware which we decided needed replacement. Overall, an excellent job.

Firstly, it was very difficult to find someone that has the experience in restoring an old home properly, so I would like to suggest adding a category for "Historic Restoration" and I am sure others on the list may appreciate knowing there are contractors like Matt (MCW Carpentry) that do just that. We found Matt's company during an online search and contacted him via phone. Our call was returned promptly and even though we weren't necessarily in Matt's backyard, after we described our homes problem, Matt agreed to come and give us a free estimate. Matt's team of skilled craftsman (each having their own specialty ie: metal work, woodworking etc..) tackled the job most efficiently and most of all were courteous, polite and personable. They cleaned up everything at the end of each work day and even insisted on taking garbage they created including fruit peels from a fruit tray I left for them. They locked our doors when we weren't home and were finished with their work for the day. Highly recommended!!
