They were much more expensive than another company. After we had their quote, we had a cheaper competitive quote from another company. They were willing to give us a discount that not even matched the competitor. It seemed like they were much more expensive than any other competitor. They were very responsive.

We have always used them even though they are a little pricier. They are responsive. They always get out there either that day or the next day if there is a problem. Even if there is not, they are very accommodating. They are knowledgeable. The guys that come out know what they are talking about. They don’t sell us something that we don’t need.

I've been using Russo Bros. for a couple of years now. From small repairs and maintenance, to larger projects, they are very trustworthy and reliable. They are prompt, punctual, informative, stress-relieving, competent... I can't say enough. When you need someone knowledgable, this is the company to call. They listen to your plumbing issues, and then they make sure to explain in detail what they need to do before the job is begun. You know what to expect, every step of the way. And, the job gets done, reasonably-priced. No hassles, no headaches. I've called them for several projects because I live in an older house. I am very satisfied with Russo Bros., and would continue to use them, for whatever large projects I have left (I'm running low), to the small repairs and maintenance. They've done minor bathroom sink repair to a backyard drainage project, and gutter-cleaning, as well. Great company!

I've dealt with them on half a dozen other things. They are very nice. They give me a window and they always come. They have a lot of techs. I'm not dealing with the master plumber with the license but they are very competent. They put booties on their feet. They are high. I don't use them anymore because I found another guy and I do a lot of my own minor plumbing. They are expensive; they charge top dollar. They are not crazy over the top but they are in the top rank of plumbers that charge top dollar. They don’t have an answering machine but they always answer the phone. They have a lot of trucks and technicians and they always come. I would use them again if I had something big. They have also put in a couple of toilets for me and they broke up my cellar for a backflow preventer. They had to break up the floor to put in a sewer backflow preventer. They did good work but it was a lot of money.

They are expensive but their quality is excellent. They give good service.

I like them a lot. I have been using them for years. I pay them on an annual basis. They always show up when they say they are going to. The price I pay is a little high.

I found Russo Brothers on Angies list and decided to give them a call to fix a minor issue with a sink drain at my rental property. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Joey and Mikey came out and were relatively prompt. Examined the problem and quickly repaired it. The work seems to have been done in a quality manner. Seems a tad expensive for how simple the task was, but not unreasonable. I would recommend.

I had just used Russo Brothers for a minor plumbing job, so called again when my heat did not start up on the first cold day of the year. I was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience. Turns out there really was no problem (gas switch needs to be on!), but Steve didn't make fun of me too much. I also asked questions about the plumbing requirements for my upcoming counter/sink/faucet replacement, and he was very helpful. Worth the minor service fee I was charged. Would recommend.

Russo Bros was professional from start to finish, we had an emergency in hot weather and they were on site immediately and handled the whole problem within a day and a half.

The estimate that they gave me to install a water softener was very expensive. I was looking for something in the $2,000.00 range, and their estimate was in the $5,000.00 range. The gentlemen seemed very professional, and like he knew what he was talking about. The price just didn't seem affordable. He was very good about being on time. He didn't take too much time. He left brochures and a listing of what would be included in the service. I would probably call them again, but not for a water softener.

We have had some bad experiences in the past with a company who is servicing our lawn system and Russo really struck me as a great company. My neighbors have used them for years and have been pleased and Russo will be taking over the service contract this fall!

They are very friendly and they explain everything to you. The down side is that they are a little expensive.

Our A/C broke during a heat wave on a Tuesday night in July. I called a few air conditioning repair companies and was told that due to the heat wave, no one could provide service until Monday of next week. The next morning, I called Russo Bros. and Co. and was told by their customer service rep that someone could come the same day, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Serviceman "Art" called and told us he was on his way and arrived at 9:30 a.m. Art provided excellent service from start to finish. He made a good appearance and even put on shoe coverings before entering our home. He explained what was wrong and showed my husband outside at the compressor what the problem was. He gave us an estimate and took off our $10 coupon we had from a previous plumbing job. He worked outside in the unbearable heat and politely declined when we offered him a cold beverage saying he had what he needed in his truck. Art wouldn't even accept a small tip we offered him. Again, Art was polite and a real professional. We would definitely ask for him if we ever needed service again.

Russo Bros. Plumbing has been our plumber for 15 years, ever since we moved into this house. Steve and his son, Joe, have always been professional, prompt, and friendly. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty many times for us (especially that time the city sewer line backed up into our basement. Thank God for Steve that day). I would never even consider calling another plumber.

Horrendous customer service. Owner berated and bullied me refusing to refund fee. Finally bank sided with consumer and now is going after business. They are incredibly overpriced and a nightmare to deal with. Sub-par customer service and disgusting attitude.

Emergency call fee quoted by dispatcher. No clue what work should cost, but no choice in middle of night/middle of flood. Fee quoted was 2x what is reasonable and customary according to other contractors. Work was well done and subsequent dispute was handled professionally.

The representative was very pleasant, professional and on-time. I found someone to do it for about 1/3 of the price, and he cleaned out the leaves from the condenser unit as well.

The price was little high for the job. They did a good job. They came out immediately to take care of the problem as soon as I called them.

The normal price for this is about $130 dollars, but I had a $49 coupon from the Russo Bros website. I found the employee who did the work very professional and friendly. He showed-up on time and did the work quickly.

They replaced a part on the furnace. The service professional was very prompt and helpful. He was very attentive to cleanliness and covered his boots, so he did not track dirt all over the house.

Called to schedule a slow flushing toilet and bathroom sink. Tech came within a few hours and was friendly and professional. He told me the cost to snake the toilet would be $175, and the sink, another $175. I asked him to go ahead with the toilet one first, and would decide on the sink after. He snaked to toilet for about ten minutes. The toilet flushed somewhat better but still not right. He stated that there may be something still obstructing pipes and for another $233.00 he could remove the bowl and try clearing. I declined that offer and also told him we would not be "attempting" to clear the sink. Their policy is a stepwise progression of charges. Attempt to clear drain by snaking- $175. if that doesn't work---- Remove bowl and re-attempt to clear obstruction $233.00---- if that doesn't work they offer to replace toilet fixture.... I think it would be fair that if they charge $175 dollars to clear a drain and fail to do so, the charge should be adjusted to a nominal service fee, maybe $50-$60 or so dollars. The tech did let me use one of the mailer coupons from Russo brothers for $20. They seem to have been in business quite a while so I am sure they have performed quality work in the past. They do send a tech with a truck fully stocked for any plumbing event; however this is probably why the overhead/expense is high for even a stopped drain. I think a company limited to unclogging drains would be less expensive. My opinion on this company is specific to our clogged drain problem.

I could not have asked for a better first-time experience with a contractor. It took him almost two days to call back, but I clearly indicated that my call was not an emergency situation. We talked about what I wanted to have done, and we set the appointment. He arrived within 10 minutes of his scheduled time and got right to work. There had been plenty of plumbing work done in the past under my sink...both before I purchased my home and since. He quickly assessed the situation and pointed out areas that should be addressed, but also pointed out that those areas were not emergent issues and could be handled at a later date. Mr. Russo explained what he was going to do from start to finish. At one point, he had to leave to pick up some supplies, and he returned in less than an hour. Using the experience I had with another contractor as a gauge, I didn't expect to see him for about 3 hours, so I was quite pleased. When he was finished, I had a working water filter installed, water going to my ice maker, no leaks, and a plumber who I will definitely call again when the need arises. Who could ask for anything more?

They charged me $1300 for repairs the last time around, and they did quality work.

As a new homeowner, I had no clue what this job should have cost...I should have gotten more estimates. The parts for this job are less than $200 - it's about a 4 hour job = 1400/4 = 350$ per hour.
