Russo Bros & Co

Came for minor repair, ended up costing way more when they tested my water pressure and recommended a water pressure regulator (which was NOT the service I had called them in for). Seemed way too and quot;corporateand quot; (they have a menu of services in a brochure or similar item)- and into adding services to their bill. Their follow up (customer service) was extremely annoying - athough pleasant, they called back too quickly, one time, within 5 minutes of their technician leaving the home! Would never use them again unless I had to. Quality work, but, not worth the hassle or expense.

Excellent. From initial estimate through installation everything was extremely professional. Initial quote / pricing provided in easy to understand format with alternative options. During installation prep work in house was performed to protect hardwood and carpet areas. While I am sure you can shop around for and quot;lower costand quot; service the comfort level associated with a professionally done job is worth the associated cost. You do get what you pay for in most cases and certainly you are here.

The work was professional, the team arrived on time and they cleaned up after themselves ... We have been using them for years and they increasingly appears to want to turn service calls into opportunities to sell and to install new equipment rather than simply repairing older installations and this is forcing me to get a second opinion on Russo recommendations.

They are efficient, clean, and came when they said they were going to come. Their estimate was right on. They were respectful and put the booties on before walking across my carpet. They were excellent company. This was not my first time using them.

Got the 2 quote. $600 and $800 from local plumber not on Angie's. Went with lowest one, he handled my warranty and replaced the tank.

They were very professional and quick.

My monthly water bills had been increasing and the water company identified a leaking, 60 year old water main as the cause. The water main ran under the front lawn and under a flagstone patio before it entered my basement. I expected to have a major excavation for installation of the new water main and major repair work to be done when the installation was completed. The estimator from Russo Brothers (Eddie) was at my house within 2 hours of my call to their office. The estimator and the office personnel were very courteous. The price was reasonable and the work started the following week. Russo Brothers came fully equipped with all the needed tools and were able to bore a small tunnel from my basement to the street. They excavated a small area near the street and were able to pull the new main back into my basement. The excavation was backfilled and seeded. The hole in the basement wall was patched. They even mopped my basement floor. At the end of the day, the new water main was in service, my water pressure was great, and other than a small patch of new grass near the street, you would never know any work had been done. A real quality job.

First, let me say that Mr. Russo was very punctual, honest, friendly and explained everything he was doing unlike others I've hired. Mr. Russo came over initially just to fix a severely leaking faucet in the upstairs hall bathroom sink. I was afraid I'd have to replace the sink or at least the faucet but in 20 minutes, he had corrected the problem (airratore was leaking back into the faucet) and had everything cleaned up. I have been having a lot of problems with 2 of the toilets in my house (very expensive toilets) not sealing at the flapper correctly, resulting in whomever used the toilet having to remove the top cover and manually reposition the flapper to make it seal properly. I have tried to fix it myself and have had two other plumbers come to look at it; one saying I needed new flush valves and the other telling me to replace the toilet. I asked Mr. Russo to look at them as long as he was here and he had both toilets working correctly in just a few minutes with a small adjustment. This saved my $300-$700 in new toilet parts or new toilets and labor to install them. I liked Mr Russo so much, I asked him to provide me with an estimate to remodel the whole hall bath (we were planning to do this). Hard to find an honest craftsman that knows what he's doing so if you need plumbing services, I stongly suggest you give Russo Brothers as call.

.They have been prompt and gotten everything done. Even when we renovated the house they were there to do the plumbing. They are very punctual and show up when they have to. Russo Bros explain everything very clearly to me as I am normally here and I have to explain everything to my husband and so I need them to explain everything in detail to me. I am very picky and that's why I keep on going to them.

Overall it went well. The toilet was SUCCESSFULLY installed. The guy was professional and showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable, well prepared, and was able to give me estimate on the much needed work around my house. BUT RUSSO IS EXPENSIVE. I dont fell that bad since these are prices from their printed pricing sheets; the guy didnt look at me and how ignorant I was and decide to rail me. I was charged like everyone else. $500 for a toilet install? Yes I should have known better. Now Ill never use them again. I give them a B because it's my fault for not kicking them out when they gave me that price.

I decided to wait on the major repairs and asked the gentleman to rebuild the internal components of the commode.

They were very good. They were on time. They do high quality work, but their pricing is high.

I had a huge flood, 10 inches deep, in the basement. I finally got the water drained but couldn't get the water turned all the way off so I could replace the broken pipe. Steve called back within 45 minutes of my call. He promised to come out after lunch. By the time I got home from work at 4pm the pipe was replaced, the washer had functioning valves and hoses [the original cause of the problem] and the 2 other outdated cutoff valves were changed for new swivel valves. My only complaint is that the bill was slow in coming. I'm only upset that I couldn't do it myself! It was great, I'd call them again in a heartbeat!

I was happy with their services. I thought that they were expensive, but I feel like all plumbers are. They also come to my house right away.

They were fabulous. The installation was seamless and the techs were polite and very careful not to track dirt into the house. They called the next day to check on the service. I've also had plumbing work done--toilets stopped working and they were professional and quick with the quote. Apparently they charge by the job and not the time, so I knew exactly what I was going to pay. I will use them for all of my plumbing and heating and a/c needs from now on.

When I called Russo Brothers a live person answered the phone. She was very responsive and promply sent a plumber over to look at the laundry box. He was very helpful and said that he could install the box the next day. He had to cut the sheet rock and replace the old plumbing inside the wall in addition to the valves. He then replaced te sheet rock which he had to go out and purchase.I found the plumber to be competent and knowledgeable but I didn't expect to pay that much for the work that was done. I think that they are overpriced.

He gave me several options including a tankless water heater. While I thought the cost of this unit was much higher compared to a traditional heater, the service man pointed out that with the utility company rebates and tax credits available the overall cost would be less than having the chimney repaired and a less expensive heater installed. Plus the warranty provided was more than twice as long. Russo Brothers also helped me fill out the rebate forms, contacted the gas company to make sure my meter was the correct size and even scheduled my permit inspections with town.Top to bottom a very satisfying experience.

Not many places repair sewer pumps that services the entire house. They arrived the same day called. They were very professional on the phone and also willing to waive their service fee when I informed them of a competitor. The technician arrived and did something to the control panel and resolved the problem. While he was here he looked at my pump and found some problems which I was already aware of. He gave me an estimate for that job. He forgot to give me an estimate for the earlier job before starting the work and was going to charge me. I complained and his manager waived the fee. They are very professional and I would definately use them again.

I would not recommend them, their prices were high. I feel like he was trying to take advantage of me.

I don't like them. My mother in-law also dealt with them, they way overcharge. They had to come back out and do the work again, but I will never use them again. I think they have a lot of people in the office, so when I call they answer the phone.

I pay them once a year and they manage it for me. They come out for I think a couple of hundred dollars. They are good. They are prompt. They are always nice. It may be a little bit more expensive, but they usually do a good job. They are expensive. I plan to use them again in the future.

Russo Bros representatives are always responsive, punctual and knowledgeable. The price is a little expensive, but always worth it. The employees provide quality servie, their work is thorough and they respect your home. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is in need of a reputable plumbing service. Their annual contract is also worth it and will give you the peace of mind that your appliances will make it through another season.

The company does provide prompt, reliable service for lawn irrigation services. However, our experience with them for several years was that the same sprinkler heads constantly seemed to break and needed to be replaced, and everytime we had them out for the spring opening of the system or fall closing, it seemed to always cost approximately $1,000. After multiple times, we started to joke about it, but then it really became ridiculous that we were constantly charged about $1,000 each time for "broken this and broken that". We ultimately changed service providers and now miraculously - our charges never exceed $250 per visit and usually about $100. (One note - we do have a six zone irrigation system - so it is big, and spread out, covering both the front yard and back yard.)My husband and I still joke to each other when we see their trucks in the neighborhood that "oops, I guess they are going to get a $1,000 bill."I would not recommend them because of their extremely high price - when they "find something wrong" with your irrigation system. The quote for the visit is very reasonable. But once they are at your home and working, you are told that "this part is bad, not working, needs to be replaced, etc.", you OK it, and then are given the final whopping bill to pay.

The plumbers arrived on time and introduced themselves in a very proffesional manner. They were shown what was needed to be replaced and they went to work. They completed the entire job in 4 hours and did a very proffesional job and left everything very neat and clean. There pricing was very reasonable for the work that they did.

It was pleasant to talk to them. Our project is unusual so he has come out a few times and has been helpful. They have been very good and we will absolutely use them again.
