Joe had given us the quote the very next morning (Tuesday). We provided the quote to the buyer's lawyer who later informed our lawyer that they were willing to wait until after closing to do the work and we provided a credit against the sale price. Joe was very prompt, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I felt assured that his work would have been as good a quality as his service in assessing the work and presenting a price which seemed quite reasonable for 60 feet of knee wall.

The company was exceptional in many ways. The contracts were straightforward and comprehensive. There were no hidden costs during the project. We received great guidance from Joe Peluso on what to do. He was invaluable in guiding our selection of most aspects of the overall design, cabinetry design, lighting, and flooring. He provided oversight and management of other contractors (e.g., granite installers, cabinet designers, etc.,) as part of the overall contract. The crew was professional, detail oriented, friendly, and always cleaned up throughout the project. Without any reservations we would use Peluso Contractors for future projects.

Contracted Peluso to do landscaping with the expectation of hiring them for hardscaping and masonry work. Initially the landscaping services they provided were good. Once hurricane Irene hit then fall with leaves, they switched from using riding mowers that catch all to push mowers that mulch everything into the ground. I called to complain and got the response "well the ground is wet and we didn't want to tear up your lawn". It happened a second time with no rain and I got "well Mr Joe (Peluso) said push mower only unless you pay more". I called a third time to discuss and finally cancelled service and told them to cancel them from doing my patio and front walkway / steps. At least 20 grand worth of work I would estimate. Like a lot of companies they just don't care unless you are willing to always give them more money but is that the type of company you really want to deal with ?

They were excellent, very neat, always cleaned up, the workers were pleasant, they were easy to work with, they were responsive, they were knowledgeable, and very easy to work with.

He was a very nice man and he put together a great proposal but we didn’t use him. A tree fell on the house so there was a lot of work that needed to be done, but he was too expensive. We would have definitely used him if he had a better price because he was very professional, he was on time, and he called if he was running late.

I moved into a new place and was looking for lawn maintenance service. I got 3 quotes but went with Joe since his price was reasonable at first. I got the flower beds redone, got bushes trimmed and got ride of some ivy. I also got some of the lawn reseeded. I was happy with everything BUT the timing of when he put down the seeds. He did all this in July!! Looking back that's a bad time to seed the lawn. Who seed during Summer time?!?!? I didn't know any better. Lesson learned. Joe doesn't has any passion for the lawn. He's a VERY nice guy and easy to talk to but the work does he and his crew do are mediocre. After Summer ended, I thought I do some seeding where there's moss. In addition to that I wanted my lawn to be aerated. Tell me what's wrong with this picture. He put down new soil and seeds in the moss area BEFORE aerating the lawn. When aerating the lawn the guy that works for him walked all over the newly growing grass! Totally wasted my money and time. I wasn't please with his work that I didn't use him in 2010. I think Joe has too many things going for him that he's not concentrating on doing well with what's he taking up on.

This company has done a lot for me in the past, like putting in a new flag pole and other generalized contracting work, but this time out we needed them to replace a very large beam that was cracking badly. They did this very efficiently and had it in and supporting by the end of the day. I was very pleased with their professionalism and courtesy, and will continue to use them in the future.

THEY ARE A VERY RELIABLE COMPANY. THEY ARE ALSO VERY CLEAN. THEY HAVE A SCHEDULED TIME OF WHEN TO COME AND THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS FAIR. WE HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR 10 YEARS NOW.
