I would definitely recommend him. He was very professional, on time and showed up when he said he would. He was very thorough and did everything according to code. When I had inspection by the town, it passed with flying colors.

He arrived on time, checked the fixture, removed the existing light and installed the new fan. He also put in a new switch. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

I found Kemper's name on Angie's list, telephoned on Tuesday, and Wednesday morning at the designated time, Mr. Kemper arrived and quickly did the repair work. I would definitely use Kemper Electric again.

I found Kemper Electric "long distance" for my parents.They know good work and are rather demanding. They were both very pleased with Don Kemper. He was reliable, efficient and very reasonably priced. They were very happy with his work and will use him again.

As another reviewer said, everything went well right from the start. Firstly, he answered the phone on my first try. He gave me a quote of $225 after I explained the work. We set an appointment 2 days later. He arrived promptly on time, actually a few minutes early, which was very nice. He went right to work and finsihed everything in less than an hour. In order to prevent the dimmers from breaking again, he explained to me that I probably should not use of energy efficient light bulbs since they blow out the dimmers. When he was finished, he informed me that the cost would be $175 instead of $225 because he was able to finish quickly. I purchased 3 recessed lighting bulbs for an additional $10.00. This is the first time I paid less than what the quote was. Although I can't imagine this being the norm since I'm sure it all depends on the type of job/service being performed, this reduced price told me that he was fair and had integrity. He was very pleasant and courteous in addition to being quick and efficient. I would definitely call Kemper again and recommend him to others.

Exactly the way I wanted this experience to be happened ... I called about the need and left a message and Don called me right back. I explained the job and he came out on a Saturday due to my quick need. His plan was to take care of everything I needed. He gave me a price for the work I needed done and then suggested that I not replace my can light in the dark hallway, but to just use a brighter bulb. I told him I couldn't find one and he said he would bring one with him the day of the service. He fit me into his schedule on the day I wanted. On the day of the service, he called me one hour prior and checked in with me to make sure that is was still convenient for me to have the work done. He told me what time he would show up, which was exactly the time we agreed upon. Even the brighter bulb worked and saved me money. He told me where to find more of the bulbs because they don't sell them in regular stores. Price was a little more than I would have liked to spend, but let me say this. He is worth it!! The work went very well. The person who came to work was prompt, courteous and did a great job. He cleaned the bathrooms himself.

Don responded to our call on a Saturday and began work that Monday. He was friendly, responsive and fair in his pricing. The work done was great and he coordinated with our drywall installer. Excellent job.

I had actually had a bathroom outlet spark and heat so much that the wire behind it burned. None of the bathroom outlets were to present day code and had to be replaced. I called Kemper Electric and an appointment was scheduled for a few days later. He was exactly on time and all work done to my satisfaction.

He was honest, and took time to point out the issue from the previous job. He was very straight forward.

They came on very short notice between two existing scheduled appointments and did the work quickly and competently. Since they were short on time and I wanted to save money, they even let me finish out their work (cover plates). It worked out well for both of us; in total they worked on five electrical boxes in less than an hour.

It went well. Don Kemper was straightforward with us on what to expect, both price and time wise, and he gave us a bid which was significantly lower than the competition, which turned out to be a bit lower than what we ended up spending but that is because we decided to ask him to do a little bit more work.

We are very happy with Don Kemper. Though somewhat laconic, he is one of the few electricians we know who returns phone calls (though it can take a few days) and keeps his appointments. His price estimate initially struck us as high, but after some comparison shopping, it turned out to be the best in the area. His work was complete and neat, and he did it efficiently and with minimal disruption.

WE ALWAYS USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SORT OF ELECTRICAL JOB BECAUSE WE ARE ALWAYS SO HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS.
