My water heater gave out on New Year's Eve, which was not ideal. At first Carmine said that they could come out, but then they got held up at another job. So, they came yesterday (January 2nd) since they were off for the holiday on the first. They came first thing in the am to install my water heater. The pricing was phenomenal, as was the professionalism of the installers, the quality of the product and the efficiency of the installation. My water heater is working beautifully. Looks like I got myself a new plumber!

I had a great experience with Garden State Water Heater today. Both Roger and Anthony were amazing and explained everything. They came promptly at 9 and were done with everything within 2 hours. I would highly recommend this company, everything was seamless from start to finish!

Efficient, effective, timely.

They were very professional. Replaced gas water heater within an hour. No problems, no issues. Replaced expansion tank. Provided required receipts. In couple of weeks mailed documents for town inspection. Inspection was completed with no issues.

Initially, there needed to be a better understanding concerning the scheduled appointment. Once I spoke to Steve, he solved it. Minutes later, I received a text from Roger notifying me that he and Anthony were 20 minutes away from my home. Anthony and Roger, the Plumbers, are friendly, knowledgeable, and proficient. They assessed the area of the water heater. Simultaneously, they shared their problem-solving skills and quickly devised the best action. I recommend Garden State Water Heaters to family and friends.

Be aware of their business practice. My experience with them was bad... Their quote and the actual price a day after the quote when they came to install was different without any explanation.. they got mad when we asked the reason, and they knew we had no choice other than installing because of cold weather.. I feel that they just took advantage of our situation.. Never use them again..

I could not be more pleased with how the entire process went. I reached out to Angie and garden state water heaters was one of the companies that reached back to me. I didn’t even answer the phone but then I received a text. After going back-and-forth on text we finally talked on the phone and I was able to get a quote just by sending a photograph of my current water heater. Tony was so helpful and also gave me the quote not only by text but also by email. The quote includes filing for the permits. Once the permit is approved I would pay directly to my town. I decided to move forward with garden state water heaters and scheduled my appointment for today. The company is very communicative and let me know exactly when they were to arrive. Once they arrived they were very professional. They looked at my water heater and checked to make sure that everything was up to code. They proceeded to change out the water heater. I was told 45 minutes in an out and that is exactly how long it took. They also showed me how to take care of my water heater in the future with proper maintenance so that my water heater will last even longer. When the bill came it was exactly the price that I was quoted by Tony. I had been given another quote and this was over $1000 less than the other estimate. I was extremely happy with the service, the installation and the professionalism. I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know!

Our water heater was leaking and end of life. Found Garden State Water Heaters at 8pm and requested a quote on Angi. Within ten minutes, I received a phone call with a quote and was booked for install 12 pm the next day! Install was seamless and work was done quickly. Our techs showed us how to maintain our new water heater. Very satisfied with our service and transparent pricing!

DO NOT HIRE THIS misleading, fraudulent, extortionist, and abusive individual the owner's name is Carmine of Garden State Water Heaters! DEALING WITH THIS individual has been a horror!! People be warned do not to deal with him and his company, when you will have a problem as especially after inspection you will be insulted by his abusive manipulative immature personality but the worst is... his illegal activity. I found this company here at Home Advisor the credentials were perfect here is my story December 2021 his people came to install new water heather he quoted me a price 0f $1350 I have agreed, they took away my old water heater and already installed a new one then his guys said to me I would NEED TO PAY additional $300.00 for 3/4 water valve. Intentionally and knowingly this company had used me to bait and switch, then the problem began every homeowner must have an inspection done when I told Carmine about the inspection he was not happy he said Why do I need one, ... when Bedminster NJ inspector came he had failed the installation because of improper wiring and a switch. After weeks and weeks of trying to get him and the company back and after many excuses, he finally sent one of his electricians to fix the failed inspection, after this electrical work was finished he called me to tell me to pay for failed inspection... any professional company would not dare to this knowingly this is a fraud as well as now I find out the electrician is not licensed and a subcontractor and I have not agreed by any means. As of today 3.19.2022, I have evidence of all his text messages written to me by Carmine this person is a horror to deal with I was threatened, misled, and insulted by this immature individual all record on hand, I will be filing a complaint with the state to get his licence suspended.

I used G.S. water heaters to replace a hot water heater in one of my condos. They gave me a GREAT price, so i booked them, when they came Carmine called me and told me the unit needed some additional code (in order to meet code) and felt bad that he needed to increase the price, what he didn't know is that I just had to do the same replacements on another one of my units to make code and knew he was telling the truth and giving a great price (again). Him and his partner were quick, friendly, knowledgeable and professional!! At the end of the job, I handed him cash and accidentally gave him too much (which I never do), I called him later on that night and he handled it with complete integrity, which meant the most to me. He will be doing all the work for my extended family and friends going forward, NO BS.

First let me say, the work was completed and it is working. My only word of caution is to make sure you get an estimate in writing. I was told , on the phone, it would be $1,200.00 and I quote "out the door" by Carmen. When they were all done, Carmen's assistant came in with a bill that said $1,500.00, when I asked why the price changed, I was told extra work had to be done. I was then told that if I used a credit card it would be an extra 4%. I think I should have been told that there might be extra charges depending on what was required. I also should have been told about the credit card extra charge prior to completion. I have no complaints about the service or the work done, but I would suggest that these issues be addressed by Garden State Water Heater up front.

It was perfect. It was quick. It is priced reasonably and neat.

It was great and fantastic. They are professional. The installation took 1 hour and 45 minutes. I highly recommend them to my clients and to my family. The customer service was great. The cost is inexpensive. They are very efficient.

Project/Quote was requested via Angies List. Carmen called me right away and gave me a quote for the unit in a friendly manner. Agreed to the install and he made it good as ordered the very next day by a professional crew. Very happy with the installation. Thanks Carmen and crew!

Excellent service. Fast, reliable and efficient. Men who did the work were pleasant, friendly, wore masks and gloves and kept everything clean.

Replace water heater

Job went very well. They showed up on time, did the job quickly and professionally.

At 8am on a Sunday, I needed a new water heater so I filled out something on Angie's List and within minutes I had help and a response from Carmine. We talked to a few companies including the big boys like the Home Depot & Lowe's and as it turned out, Carmine was by far the most knowledgeable and gave a great price. He even told me about the $300 rebates that are offered by the state that his competitors failed to mention.

Good, he was very pleasant to deal with. Very honest and you cant ask for more than that.

Carmine was fast to call after I went on Angie's List to look for a plumber and he kept us updated throughout the day as he was very busy. We had a 5-year old water heater with an electronic panel that was working intermittently for several days. After talking to us and looking at the unit it was decided that we would replace the entire unit as the electronic panel was not available to replace on the unit we had. After arrival, Carmine and his right-hand man made fast and neat work of replacing our water heater. Their number is now in my phone for future plumbing needs! Can't ask for more!
