East Gutter Cleaning

While the workers were nice and responsive, they were quite messy in the work they did, including soaking the side of our neighbor's house (our neighbor was quite upset). They got the job done, however, and we are having them back to fix a broken gutter.

Showed up on scheduled date. Did the job. All went well.

I wanted to take advantage of the big deal which was $369.00 for 50 feet of replacing my gutters. I called and told the person I would like someone to come out and give me an estimate on replacing my gutters. I told him I wanted to purchase the big deal but wanted to make sure first and needed the estimate. I told him I had 50 feet of gutters I needed replaced. He said he "knew" I had more than 50 feet because the average is 100 ft. He asked my address and then told me he could see the house with Google and there is 100 feet of gutter on the house and the total cost would be $900.00. I told him I measure the gutters and that I have 50 feet. He said he would send someone over that afternoon but there was no need for me to be home and then he would call me with the estiate. No one ever showed up and no one ever called me back.

They were fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Overall I was happy.

The owner was very professional and responsive. I asked that he give me a call when his men were on their way, but I never received the call, so I didn't get a chance to witness the work being done. My Mom said that they performed the job so quick she doubts if the work was done??? I called the owner and made him aware of the rush job and he said that they wouldn't take my money without doing the job. He even told me that it would of been cheaper if I called the company myself opposed to buying the $99.00 dollar deal due to the fact that it was a small job...That certainly didn't make me feel any better. He did say that my front gutter needed to be replaced, but that would be $280.00...for 30ft...whew! I feel that because he said I overspent for the cleaning maybe he could have offered me a discount for the replacement.

The crew showed up on time and was very fast. We have a large 4000+ sqft house and they did all the gutters in under an hour. The few gutters we can see out windows look good. They didn't stop by to provide any information after the job so not sure how much it would be for them to do it again (we had an Angie's List deal the first time), the status of our gutters or roof, etc. They felt quite rushed, but overall the price was right and can't complain.

I am very happy with them. I was shocked that the cost was so great. I didn't have to be at home and they left the receipt on the door. They flushed everything out it worked out well.

Update 10/15/2013 - About a month after they did the job I happened to look up at the roof and noticed that parts of the gutter guards were not replaced properly resulting in some roof shingles sticking up in the air. I called East Gutter Cleaning and informed them of the problem. They said that they would send people over to repair the problem within a week. Two days later some people came and fixed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by their prompt action. I can strongly recommend this company and I plan to use them for some other work on my house.

I found East Gutter Cleaning very professional and easy to work with. They returned phone calls promptly, and provided estimates and insurance info via e-mail. The workers arrived on time and did a good job. I would definitely use East Gutter Cleaning again.

I have a gutter damaged by Sandy and since we are doing an addition next year just wanted to fix it prior to winter. It was about an 8' section of gutter needing replaced, as well as an elbow fell off of a downspout in the front. When they looked at it they wanted $450 to replace the whole gutter on the one dormer and also the one elbow. We are waiting to replace all the gutters when we redo the roof and build the addition, but quotes to replace all the gutters and downspouts for two dormers and two eves was only $1,100. So they were way out of line. I had guessed the work would have fallen totally under the scope of the Big Deal wording.

The first time that East Gutter Cleaning came out, they got the wrong color because I told them it was a gray house, not realizing the gutter is in a different color so they had to go out again and with that in mind, they had to charge for it. They did their job very well. The quality is good. I didn't expect the price for it to be that high. He's very good at what he does.

They did a great job on all three items. The gutters were cleaned and the perimeter of my house was cleaned of all debris. They came back another day to fix a 6' section of damaged gutter and power wash. Both were done excellently. We will be using East Gutter Cleaning again!

EGC came out within a week of contact and swept my roof and cleaned the gutters. The work was performed impeccably and they even cleaned our entry ways. We couldn't be happier. We'll be having EGC back after fall plus we'll be taking advantage of their 2014 seasonal contact/discount.

Very well. They came out initially to clean, and when i asked some questions the gentleman gave me some options and answered all my questions. I called up and set an appointment to come back and do the gutter and downspout replacement for the following week. When they returned they could not do the work because I had someone else doing work on my porch columns, and they called me to let me know they would return the following day. It was cordial and the work was completed the next day to my satisfaction. When I asked to have the piece be made longer to run away from my home they gladly obliged. While English was not anyone on the three-person team's first language, hey were able to communicate effectively with me to understand my concerns.

It was great. They came first thing in the morning and it was done by the time I got back from the train. They cleaned all the gutters like they said they would. They even swept off one of our side roofs that had leaves on top of it. They swept that off to prevent further gutter clogging. So that was nice.

I've been using East Gutter Cleaning for about a year now, and signed on for an annual contract for 2013. I've been very pleased with their work. Each time they have done a professional job, leaving no debris behind and washing down the driveway as well.

The original price was $500.00 This was due to the fact that I had helmut covers and the downspout went to the sump pump. I was told it was costly because all the gutters had to be removed and rehung..(labor) at least a four hour job. When they arrived they flushed out the gutters and never removing anything....It was 45 minutes maybe less. When presented with the bill, I said don't you think that this is a lot of money for this job. He thought about it and reduced it to $350...still a lot of money but I was glad to end the transaction.

I recently moved into a new home and needed to get the gutters cleaned, as water was overrunning in places. East Gutter Cleaning personnel were very personable and professional in making the appointment and while on site. They completed the job quickly and effectively.

Everything went perfect - provider showed up in time and finished the job quickly.

I thought they would be here around 11 but showed up at 4:30. They got right to work and were done in 30 mins. I hope it was done properly since it only took 30 mins but will wait for a big rain to tell. They were friendly and reasonably priced. They did splash all the stuff from roof on landscaping and side of house and didnt hose it off but no biggie. Im just glad they came so quickly and would use them again.

These guys did a great job. Smooth transaction. Highly recommend.
