East Gutter Cleaning

I didnt use the services because this service provider wouldn't allow me to make an appointment to schedule when I wanted the services completed. They advised me that I couldnt be there when they completed the services and that they show up on their schedule and complete an entire walk through of my roof when they are able. I didnt like their manner over the phone and I felt they were very pushy and very rough. I really dont understand why they wouldnt accomodate my wish to be here at my home while services where being completed.

Job was done on a timely basis as promised. Top quality product and material was uised. The clean up was done well. We are estremely happy with the service and professionalism

I purchased the deal because I wanted my gutters clean and misunderstood the deal. The offer was for "repair and replacement." They came and gave me an estimate for cleaning and I'm now scheduled to have them clean them in mid-June.

They did a good job. Very professional. Very no nonsense business. We called for s job. They took care of it. No hassle.

Service Date never happened. They cancelled every date they scheduled.

I had to call to see why my gutters were not cleaned on the date I made the appointment. Except for this issue. All other work was done very well. They did great work when they showed up. Quick, clean, professional statement with potential issues to be looked at on the gutters. They were willing to provide a detailed statement of the concerns with the gutters to the contractor who just installed brand new months before. Will use services again.

Three men arrived on the specified date, performed the repairs very well. I'm happy with the work and would use East Gutter Cleaning again if needed.

Very professional, on time, efficient, did the job with no fuss. made changes to the existing layout of gutters which made more sense and was aesthetically appealing.

Hired this contractor to see how they would do. I was raised doing gutter installs so I planned to watch them very closely. Apparently, company reported that was a competitor (not true) and that I also install gutters (not true) so the Angie's List folks pulled my review. I'm reposting to clarify the facts and I hope that the provider responds this time around. Again, assuming they actually perform the contracted services I'll post a follow up to this review.

They honored the Angie's List discount and did a great job with the repair.

Overall they do a very good service (I continue to use them for this service), but they are very dependent on the weather, so if the weather is bad they might not show up (this has happened in the past), but they do reschedule.

I had called them at least 5 times and they always had an excuse about why they couldn't come out: bad weather, broken truck, etc. Today they said the truck was broken down and that I should just contact Angie's List for a refund. Today was the only day they'd ever called me about a missed appointment or anything else. They were pretty bad.

I have used East Gutter Cleaning for several years and they have always done an excellent job. I have a large spruce that grows through a hole in my deck and over a flat roof, so I have a problem with keeping the drains, gutters and roof free of pine needles. On this last job, in addition to cleaning the gutters I needed two existing 3x4" leaders connected to a smaller diameter round underground drain. It turned out that the drain was clogged for several feet. East Gutter cleared the drains and connected the mismatched pipes. They are always pleasant and efficient, and I will continue to use them.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I give East Gutter Cleaning about 6. They cancelled my appointment without letting me know. I had to call them to find out that they weren't coming the day they had said they were going to come. We signed up for the 399. We were satisfied with the work. We were pretty happy. We weren't here when we had the service done. I would probably use this company again in the future.

The day they were supposed to come and do the repair work and cleaning they never showed up, I had to call them they did not call me, I was told they were not coming, I asked when they would be at my house and was told I did not need to be there and they would leave an invoice on my door knob but could not give me a date of work to be completed. This not how I expected an Angie's list listed company to work, totally unprofessional time wasters, I could have hired another company and had the work completed by now.

He stated that he could not put the same copper gutter back up and it would be $600.00 to replace it/ I got a company to put that same one back & replace the wood for $200. He also said it would cost $209.00 to just clean the gutters so I said never mind.

This is an update on an earlier review. There was a misunderstanding about the the estimate and we decided not to go ahead with the provider. Subsequently, we came to the realization that the price they quoted was fair. straight. The provider declined to come back, so we cannot say anything about the work. But we did want to set the record straight and change our review to fair.

All went great, they had a scheduling snafu in the beginning but they were able to get it resolved.

As soon as the weather cleared enough, they came and did the work as agreed upon by phone, cleaned up impeccably, and left my bill in a plastic envelope on my front door handle. I was so happy the work was done without having to follow up with them and without having to be home.
