ACE KITCHENS & BATHS INC

We chose Ace Kitchens and Baths because Charlie gave us the best ideas for maximizing our limited counter and cabinet space. They not only sell cabinets and hardware but also are certified installers of Wolf and Sub-Zero which we wanted in our new kitchen. Their company does everything but paint. We just had to make choices and they took care of the rest. They gave us an estimated date for start because they wait to do the demolition until the cabinets are ready. They were right on target with the estimation. Our kitchen, which included a small broom closet and walls surrounding a pantry, was demolished. The debris was removed the same day. The workmen were very polite and left the site clean each day. They added a gas line to the kitchen for the new range top and moved the ovens and refrigerator different areas. They did new led lighting in the kitchen with under cabinet lighting in the work areas. When Charlie wasn't on site, he was a quick phone call away. He always returned calls quickly. All the new cabinets now extend to the ceiling. With the additional space we added a glass cabinet and small buffet for serving with outlets for appliances, phones etc... We also had space for a book shelf and an extra cabinet for more counter space. We decided to keep our tile floor because we couldn't find anything we liked better. We had extra tiles which they used to fill in spaces where walls were removed and to replace broken tiles. We also enjoyed working with Christie who was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful when we made all our choices for appliances, hardware, quartz countertops and crackle tile for the backsplash. The project took about 6 weeks. There were only a few minor problems which Charlie easily solved. He was great to work with and promised that we would be happy with the results. We love our new kitchen and would gladly use Ace Kitchens and Baths in the future.

I worked with the owner, Charlie. He is a lovely, friendly gentleman, and clearly knows his stuff as he has been doing this for years. My issue with Ace, and the reasons I decided to go with another company were as follows: 1. Slow response times 2. Lack of a clear structure on process 3. Did not provide me a clear list of selections with prices so we could sit and review together and discuss, and neither did they show me various options to choose from 4. Timings of start date etc seemed vague 5. Pricing was vague - no clear list that showed me what everything added up to. As a result, I decided not to go with Ace. I wanted to work with a company that responds quickly to my questions as I am a busy individual who works full time (email works great that way rather than chase each other with phone calls). In this case, days would go by before I would get a response back. That did not give me much confidence in the process. Also, the first time I went in and scheduled for Charlie to come in and see my bathroom, we had fixed a time on a weekday. I work full-time, so I took time off to get home for the meeting. No one called me ahead of time to confirm the appointment, so I called them, and to my surprise was told that Charlie was busy with a delivery and would be late. Ok! It would have been nice if they had called me ahead of time that day to say we are running late, and would that work. He showed up almost 2 hours later. Overall, I felt that they were not respectful of the customer's time or urgency to get the project started. Also, I never saw a clear list of all the selections for the bathroom reno. Charlie picked out some selections for me but I wanted him to show me some options so I could select what I liked. So, I ended up picking another company that will be doing my reno. They respect and value my time and have a very clear process so I know exactly where I stand, what I picked, and what the whole thing will entail.

Met with the owner of Ace Kitchens and Baths, Charlie Licastro, at my home to provide an estimate for my kitchen and bath remodel project. Though Charlie was prompt, courteous and seemed interested in the job, I never heard back from Charie even after having e-mailed Charlie photos of a neighbor's remodel to work with as basis for the kitchen remodel. The and quot;Fand quot; rating is being provided due to poor, or better stated, lack of communication. Even if Charlie was not interested in the job, a courtesy phone call is in order and not an unreasonable expectation.

Order was received on time, and several were "dinged" during transport from manufacturer. Ace made timely, no problem replacement of trouble units. There was no problems encountered on my part.

I THOUGHT THEY PERFORMED VERY PROFESSIONALLY. THEY LEFT NO MESS FOR ME TO CLEAN UP. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL. I STOPPED INTO THEIR STORE AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM TO COME OVER AND THEY WERE THERE ON TIME. THEY DID GIVE ME A FREE PRICE QUOTE.
