Although the electrician was friendly and professional, let me know what needed to be repaired and performed the work well, the price of the job was exorbitant for what was needed, and he did not explain until after the work was performed that part of the charge was an? annual membership? to their Total Care Club. He explained that it actually made the job less expensive overall, but I found it unacceptable that it was not explained upfront. Frankly, if I had not needed the job done as soon as possible, I would definitely have found a local, small electrician to do the job at what would probably have been a much more affordable rate. My error in judgment. Will avoid the large chain-style companies in the future.

Ramon from Gold Medal ran new 20 amp circuits and replaced 2 hardwired sconces. He was very professional, checked in with me every step of the way, walked me through everything he did, and stayed within my budget. I would definitely hire them again. The only thing that was less than ideal happened when I called the office. Maybe I called at a bad time, but I was on hold more than once for a very long time, so it took a total of 10 minutes to reach someone to answer one question.

Run from the dishonest company. very disappointed with Anji for approving this business. Was quoted ~$500 from Anji to do the work. Gold medal comes and tells me he needs $1100 to troubleshoot not even fix a simple light fixture issue. Ok top of that, he wanted to charge $475 to change flourescent light bulbs. Also told me power was out going to a fixture which only required a light bulb. If he wasn?t so obvious that he was ripping me off, I may have fallen for it. Told him to move on. Called another local electrician and they replaced the flourescent bulbs for the cost of the bulbs, changed other bulbs that were out, screwed in a couple loose connectors, changed out five fixtures for $450. Shame on Anji for not vetting their contractors. Makes me rethink how to use Anji. Used to be only reputable contractors. Now it seems it can be anyone who wants to hang a shingle.

This company is too expensive.

We saw one of their technicians for an estimate on August 14, 2021. We gave them a check deposit of $1300. They have not been honest or clear about what type of light fixtures and specs on those fixtures they would be installing. We decided to cancel the service on August 19, 2021. We did not sign a contract or agreement for services. We have attempted to call several times and they only take messages and cannot update you on your refund. They do not have a customer service dept that talks to you or calls you. I am now writing this review and have attempted and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I could not have been happier with Angi or Gold Medal. Thank you for helping me solve my drainage issue.

HE CAME QUICKLY ON MONDAY AND FINISHED THE JOB NICELY.

It wasn’t cheap but they arrived quickly on a Friday evening and fixed the problem right away. They were courteous and super nice . I would use them again

Service person was honest about the problem and gave us several options on the repair. I would definitely use them again.
