got a cheaper price from a different company the tech called and they gave me the cheaper price .it was a savings of $225.00 dollars

Prompt, polite, and respectful electrician and good work from him as expected for minor problems. But the price is astronomical - $485 for so-called initial diagnostic (troubleshooting) of a simple faulty basic (bathroom) light wall switch which I already told them. All it needed was a replacement, a 10 min job. Then got offered a one-year membership for $349 which included this minor work instead so I opted for it. I do not approve of this kind of business tactic although I liked the individual electrician work.

I do not usually make reviews, but this company and the technician they sent annoyed me so much. I requested work done on all 3 of my toilets. We have to hold the handle down for it to flush and we also had some slow drain issue in one of the bathrooms. 1 toilet he refuses to fix because he said it was cheap. The other one he broke the flapper and said that we have to buy a new toilet and gave me the price of some ridiculous amount of $900.00. The other toilet he did not fix. We asked him about some other things in the bathroom such as changing the faucets and fixing the shower pipe, where he gave discouraging answers. Anyway, we paid him to fix the drainage issue. When I called the office about the toilet that their representative broke spoke to a very rude person. She said she will have upper management call me. A lady called and told me nothing they can do. I would never recommend Gold Medal and will not use them again.

Always negotiate the price! Do not accept the price it tells you first. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable.

The technician arrived on time and did a good job clearing a clog in my bathroom sink. I would use them again.

Replaced a noise attic fan. They were true to their word. When booking the appointment they mentioned they would give a price for the quote, once the work started that would lock in the price no matter what they found. Well, the quote was to replace the fan motor which had burnt out but when the technician tried to do that he realized the whole fan and casing were corroded so he had to replace the whole unit. And true to their word the price did not change. Work was done well if not a little pricey.

Gold medal did a job at my house @3 years ago I have never heard back from them. So I have an AC problem Gold Metal was coming on Friday 7/10/2020 but they never showed up never even called to say ha can?t make it today. So I called again on Sunday they said so sorry but someone will call you ASAP. I am still waiting so I get a voicemail today

The representative was very nice. The estimate was $890.00 and most likely 4 times what I envisioned. I will look around for a more reasonable estimate.

Electrician was nice. He also explained well what needed to be done and itemized the work.

They don t charge by the hour.... they charge by the job. They start off with a very high expensive price. You need to negotiate final price. But they include parts and Warenty on labor.

Fast service! He was great. He came in and checked everything and told me it was a PSE&G problem. He didn't charge me a thing. So then PSE&G came out the next day and fixed my house flickering problem quickly and free too! I will use Gold Medal again. This was my first experience with them and I know that I can trust them.
