if there is a coupon in a weekly delivered paper with ads and for their full page ad don't count on them honoring their ad cause so far I am not in receipt of the 1600 off coupon for heat and ac replacement they installed a month ago.

The nice, polite guy was here for 10 minutes. He looked at the brand new unit, then went outside to see if there was any blockage at that end. He came back in, took off the front panel, pushed a button and the system started. He was here for a total of 10 minutes and said the cost would be $550.00. I thought that was really over-the-top, but he had me over a barrel. Then, when I received my Master Card bill, the charge changed to $684.59! What the H___! As a senior in a retirement village, I think the whole experience is outrageous and shameful. I'll never use this company again and will tell all my friends to do the same.

Stay far away from Gold Medal!!! Not only did they not install the A/C up and over the Bathroom ceiling, like the salesman said they would, they totally destroyed the Bathroom ceiling and walls. They have not, as of this date 7/8/2019 repaired the damage they did, despite them telling us they would take care of everything . Yeah right.

They claim 1 day service or work is done free. It took 2 weeks to complete and nothing was free.

I hired them to clean my boiler The Tech arrived on time and started the job. He informed me that I needed a new boiler which I kinda knew it was 30 years old. He continued on cleaning the boiler the best he could and told me that they could come and give me an estimate for a new boiler . They arrived the next day went through everything and gave me an estimate for $14,ooo. I think my heart stopped. We told him we would have to think about it. I got 2 more estimates the next dayOne was $5600 and the other was $6500. I think they should be ashamed that they would charge an astronomical amount of money for the same job

the tech? or so they call them did the same work on identiacle water heaters with different looking configurations. That fact was pointed out to me by a plumber who came for a different job. I called the office and notified them and they sent out a different tech. This guy is the guy that they have on board to fix the work of the novices that they send out first. He stunned me with his results. So, if you don't care about being overcharged for simple work and have the time to keep calling them back to correct repairs to your water and gas, yes gas lines. give them a call. It might have been a one time bad day, but it was my experience.

I would never call them again if my life depended on it. The technician tried to charge me $2000 to replace a basic thermostat. $25 part and 1 hour of labor at the most... Horrible experience! Took out an iPad and tried for $2000, then $1400, and then $900. Finally left without completing the work. Incredible rip off artists... I feel terrible for innocent people that would fall for this type sales scam.

very good find and fix my problem with my boiler

The technician arrived between the scheduled window time. I wish the time range wasn?t 4 hours but 2 or less. They texted the technician?s name and photo and he called while on the way. Upon arrival he assessed the issue, identified the problem and explained the additional cost to repair the gas leak. He was quick and the repair was well done. Only negative thing was him up selling their annual package service before he started the repair. I wish it?s something he did after job was complete. They are not cheapest but any time there?s a gas leak you want quality repair and this guy knew what he was doing.

This company has very competitive rates for its annual maintenance. But once you contract for the maintenance, every repair is up to 3 times the price of comparable service companies. I needed upgrades for 4 Aprilaire filters (4 furnaces). The cost of 1 upgrade kit (Amazon) was $80 ($320 for 4). Gold Medal quoted me $1750 for the installation and parts! I called another reputable HVAC company and they did the installation in less than 45 minutes with 1 person and charged $550 (includes cost of filter kits and tax). So i was lucky on that project. But i used Gold Medal to replace a lavatory faucet. They charged $1900 because they said it was a 2 man job and would take extra time because the sink needed to be removed. They did a good job with 2 men for about 2 hours (that is still $300 per man per hour). I never got another quote from anyone else (my bad) but my suspicion is that this job was was also triple the price! This company has low prices for their annual maintenance but then stick it to you when anything needs repair. I felt like they took advantage of me when it came to repairs

The team was polite, professional and cleaned up after themself. Thanks to the guys that work for Gold Medal, they know there stuff and very hard workers. I would recommend them in a heart beat. They installed my whole heating and A/C unit. Thank you!

23 minutes of work effort, $25 in retail cost for parts which they had the gall to charge $480. I could have done the work myself in less than one hour but was out of town. Involved replacing 2 feet of pipe and a valve that was exposed along a wall 2-4 feet high.

A little expensive, I guess, but they showed up when they said they would, and got the job done in a timely manner.
