DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It is the dead of winter, and my family and I have been without proper heat for over 6 days because this company filed incorrect permits and gave us wrong instructions. They've barely communicated any updates about the process. They made the process seem straightforward to get our business, and here we are, almost $3,300.00 later with NO HEAT and no expectations/communication on the next steps from them. When I consulted them about what had to be done to have the gas turned back immediately after completing the work, I was told, "Call the gas company." I did that. Then I was told, on the 5th day without heat, that the city had to approve permits and inspect the work before turning the gas back on. I was told the city would be out to our home to inspect the work first thing this morning. I received no update until an office employee called about "inefficient heat," when I informed him we had no heat at all and no idea when to expect the city to arrive. AS I TYPE THIS, WE HAVE NO CLUE WHEN THE CITY IS COMING TO INSPECT THIS WORK SO WE CAN HAVE PROPER HEAT RESTORED. I have text communications to substantiate the gross miscommunication and ill advisement we've experienced with this company. I will be filing a complaint with appropriate state entities and the BBB.

The replacement price for a new furnace was VERY costly! They recommended saving money by venting the furnace into a non-capped, non-lined chimney. They erroneously scheduled a 2 Nd appointment and never showed up or called. They have failed to respond to my emails. They run this business to maximize short-term profits at the expense of their customers. Beware!

I think that their prices are a little competitive, but it seems to be, I could be absolutely wrong, that they aggressively include (bundle). extended warranties (service) into their prices. I appreciate the option for service, but that?s only a single person?s interpretation and should not be consider company wide. Their installer was very nice, worked with me regarding the service and options and I would consider them for future services. They were fast, convenient and so far the water heater tank is working fine. Try them out, I recommend.

They responded quickly and consistently kept us apprised regarding timing of our service. The repairman, Gervase, was very thorough and efficient and explained what he was doing every step of the way. We felt the pricing was fair and would definitely use Gold Medal again in the future should the need arise.

what a great company to do business with. First the customer service was prompt in giving me a same day appointment. I was lucky to get a quote and get my hot water heater fixed on a saturday! Rob the technician is awesome! so knowledgeable in his field. Excellent quality work replacing even parts of our old 25 year old pipes going to the heater. Bringing our water heater up to code. Explained Everything before work to be done and after how to use. Clean and neat and a very polite young man. Thank you! Im glad I picked your company!

Our experience with Gold Medal Plumbing was very satisfying. Gold medal arrived earlier than expected called and notified out senior security people when we didn't answer . very thoughtful.

The tech never serviced any machine in my apartment complex before. However he was able to diagnose the problems and provided me with all the information I needed.

I set an appointment for my AC Tuneup and the tech person was very professional, curtious and knowlegable but their pricing was not correct and I think it is not his fault and something he cannot control. I was recommended 3 lbs of AC refigerent and price for the same intially $450 + when I stated that thats a lot and I cannot afford it. Technician called his boss and now new price for the same dropped down to $299 + Tax. I was shocked and did not like how they intially priced the item. I only requested to have my AC Tune up done.

Stay far away from them. They sell you on your higher prices telling you that their after sale service is so good. It is horrendous. I had a question about my installation and nine months later I still do not have an answer, after over 20 calls. I had another question just recently about the equipment used in order to determine if I could get a tax credit. I was promised a call back in 24 hours. Another week, four more calls, and still no call back. I have been hiring contractors for various things for 30+ years. I have never come across anything remotely as horrendous as gold medals customer service.
