Gold Medal Services, LLC, warrants and guarantees to the original purchaser, that should Customer accept and purchase Gold Medals recommended repair, such repair shall be free from defect in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions for as long as the Customer owns the residence in which the recommended repair was provided or until the Unit in which the Covered Repair was performed, if applicable, is replaced.
the fellow who did the job for me showed up even earlier than I had expected. He did what needed to be done and then left with the old one and I now have a bigger one in my utility room. And I now can have a shower with hot water for the entire shower. Barbara Prince

Too expensive. Local handyman could fix exactly the same problem at 1/5 price. Be aware they may charge you over $300 just for visiting and checking the leaking toilet. The working time was about 15 minutes. Never recommend this.

They talked me into an expensive yearly contract at a service visit, then repeatedly failed to return for their second visit. Many excuses later, I gave up on them. Selling customers a service contract is great IF THEY SHOW UP in a timely way. Otherwise, customers are just paying for half of nothing. And to tell me, TWICE, that "we can't come because some of our other customers don't have heat!" is bull--what, every other customer is more important than me? Keeping appointments with "valued" customers is the hallmark of a good company. It's about respect, and service. Sadly, that was not my experience with Gold Medal. Their name is misleading.

Consumer has the right to be informed about what the services that will be performed are, It is unethical and immoral to proceed with work without authorization from the consumer, not to mention to overcharge them for services they did not agree to. Please train your employees to avoid legal lawsuits with your company.

I would not recommend using Gold Medal for any major service. As anyone will learn from a bit of research, the pricing is not competitive. However, the salesman was knowledgeable; he is the only member of the team that I do not have a complaint about. I was convinced to go with this company based on the promise of superior and responsive service going forward. Their catchphrase is that the buyer is purchasing â peace of mind.â Unfortunately, at the first opportunity, they proved themselves to be decidedly unresponsive. I found some elements of the installation to be questionable and contacted the company, asking to speak to a technical person. I was told that there is a certain bureaucracy; I must go back to the sales person first. I forwarded photographs at the sales personâ s request, and he forwarded them to the technical people on two occasions. Still, no one ever got back to me, and it is been A month without even an acknowledgment despite follow ups. They are bureaucracy includes something called the â call connectâ system. You get texts with pre-formatted responses saying that someone will call. They never do. It is infuriating. So now I have to ask myself what I got for the $1500 or so extra that I paid beyond the typical pricing. It sure wasnâ t the responsiveness that I was promised. Do yourself a favor, save that extra money.

I spent $319/- to get my water heater fixed, it still breaks down and the gentleman said I can buy the part and replace it myself, if the company does it they will charge more, $319/-spent and water heater still breaks down.

BEWARE! This company is ripping people off left and right and completely overcharges for their services! I was quoted $3,400 for a $1,200 job! The worst customer service, it took me five different departments and two days to get an answer to my question! They will not give me answers but will take my money! Scam artists!

They also installed lighting fixtures and updated switches on wall. Very professional and knowledgeable, knowing about covid they were following all regulations and wore p.p.e. Totally recommend them for their work ethic and pride in workmanship.
