David was always available for questions ( even at night ) and worked continuously with little breaks. The great thing was, not only was the bathroom really beautiful, but the quality of the workmanship was really higher than I expected. Little details like the threshold, using materials to make for a very finished, really clean assembly. Very nice. Really pleased. AND...he was half the price of the contractor that did my 1st floor bath makeover, and the finish work was FAR BETTER. Was also pleasantly surprised I didn't need to bring in a plumber to handle soldered valve work. David did, plumbing, tile work, carpentry, and electrical. Appreciated the "one stop shop" ability. I am so pleased with the work that we hope to use David soon to repair/replace our broken front steps. He's also a really nice, friendly guy, and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: David gutted walls, including early 1900's 3" thick cemented tile construction, to the original framing, installed new Sheetrock walls/ceiling, taping, spackling, and finish sand prep for paint. Removed old ceramic tile flooring, sub flooring, and original cast iron plumbing from walls. Replaced with PVC. Installed new chrome valves for exposed pedestal sink ( Soldered ) , and hard chrome feeders to pedestal sink. new subfloor, and hardy Backer under period correct polka dot floor. Installed subway tile walls. Removed a window opening to a closet ( old house...go figure) and created a clean wall where that once was a window. Turned an ugly 1980's bathroom into a beautiful 1930's period design show place.
