Tony was informative and responsive from my first contact with him on the phone. I explained my immediate concerns and also some projects that needed to be done in the future. He asked me to email my complete list, then he got back to me right away with the cost for each item on my list. He gave me two days and times to choose from, just a few days away. We agreed on a day and time. Tony arrived on the day and time agreed on and he did all the work with skill and knowledge and was extremely neat. Both my husband and I were completely satisfied. We would certainly call Diamond Electric again and we would gladly recommend Diamond Electric to anyone who needs an electrician.

This is the third or fourth time using Tony. The work took a few days between delivery of the unit, electrical panel wiring, gas line hook-up (not part of Tony's job) and inspections. He is prompt, professional, neat and truly concerned that the job is done well. Even the electrical inspector was very pleased. I can't say anything bad.

I found Tony using Angie's List, called the number listed, left a message, and received a call back in a very timely manner. I described my issues and immediately received a quote regarding diagnostic fees and was told that it would cost that plus whatever it took to fix the issues. The first issue within the house was with four recessed lights the previous owner had installed on their own. When we moved in we noticed the switch did not turn on any of the lights. We replaced all the bulbs and when that didn't solve our problem, we replaced the switch. Unfortunately for us, there was a big blue spark followed by a literal puff of smoke. We knew it was time to call an electrician. Tony and Joe came the same day we spoke on the phone and quickly found the problem. One of the recessed light cans was not connected properly which caused the plastic in the connection to burn and melt. He quickly replaced the wires causing the issue while explaining everything to me. The second issue was a ceiling fan light fixture would not turn on. He took apart several parts of the fan to determine the cause. He found the root cause and although he was not able to replace the part himself since it was a brand specific part, he explained everything that happened and why and gave me the part to order and showed me how to replace it myself. Tony also broke everything down into sections on the receipt, which is something I really appreciate. I do not like when I am charged a random price without knowing for what or why. I would recommend Tony without hesitation.

As usual, Tony was prompt and professional. I was reassured that the problem was within the fixture, and not the wiring. I had chosen a fixture that required assembly, so it took a little while to put the parts together, but it looks great. For years we have used an extension cord to plug in the holiday decorations, and now finally, we have an outlet outside in the front. Tony connected to the wiring through the only wall (through the garage wall and layers of cedar shakes)that was not brick, and now we have a place to plug in the lights and the lawn care equipment.

When we asked Tony about fixing the can that was out (no electricity was getting to the can) in the family room he advised us that it would cost $750 and he could not guarantee that he would not mess the ceiling up which would require us getting a sheet rock contractor to repair the ceiling at a significant additional cost. Keep in mind that this is an 8 year old home and the sheetrock is not decayed or compromised by age or water damage. There are four ceiling cans in the family room and they're wired to each other. The fix requires snaking a wire from one of the three working cans to the can that isn't working. This should not be a task for an electrician that would require breaking through the ceiling.

Diamond electric came with a full crew on time. There was a high level of difficulty installing the lights in the family room. There is no crawl space area for the crew to work with, everything had to be snaked from an adjacent attic space. The lights in the living room needed a new switch box installed that would improve where the original switch was. There input was logical and appreciated. The work was finished in half a day leaving no signs of a mess. Very professional and courteous. We would use them again. The price was steep, but the work was difficult.

Tony arrived at his designated time and gave us a quick run down of what he planned to do and when we should expect power to go down and be back up. After the service was back up, all the circuits were tested and labelled on the panel. Then Tony walked us through a test run of using the generator circuit showing us how to use it safely and testing the generator with a full load. He left detailed instructions on the panel as well. He also took care of a couple of safety issues he saw that were not part of the planned work. He moved an outlet that was too close to a water source and reworked the ground on our water pump circuit. His work is very professional, he makes sure everything is safe and neat and he charged his estimated fee. I will definitely call him again if I need electrical service.

Tony and his crew are a great group of guys. From the beginning, Tony was quick to respond and patient to answer all the questions I had on all the random electrical needs I had for my home. Tony was great walking me through all that would be needed and for fitting me in around my own busy schedule. Not only were they right on time on the job day, but it was great to see Tony was there himself along with a friendly and professional group of guys working with him. They worked clean and efficient and got everything accomplished in a great amount of time. Tony was also very accommodating when I asked if they had time to install two new thermostats that I had forgotten to add to the job breakdown. Tony was also very gracious to take the time and walk me through how to use my new generator panel when he was done. He went through all the steps of getting the generator online to what to do when the power comes back on. His team even had the class to come back 20 minute after they finished the job, because they remembered they forgot to close a panel door on a circuit box. All in all, a great experience, and they will be the ones I call again for any electrical needs.

We purchased a wall unit that once installed, was too close to the light/fan switch in the room. I sent Tony an email on Saturday afternoon explaining my dilemma. He responded within a couple of hours and committed to come on Monday. As always, Tony showed up on time as promised and moved the switch to a more convenient location in the room - quickly, efficiently and neatly. Tony is the best. The unit fits perfectly and the switch is in a much more convenient place.

Tony did an excellent job. The were prompt on the appointment for the estimate as well as on time for the appointment to do the work. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were also through in clean up after the work was complete. I plan on using them on the next project.

Tony arrived on time (actually, a little early) on the day of the estimate and the day of installation. He clearly explained all the options we might want to consider in order to fix our faulty electrical service. On the day of installation he described everything that was being done and answered any questions. All aspects of the job were handled professionally and efficiently.

I called Diamond Electric and left a message on the voice mail. Tony called me right away and happened to be in the next town over, so he was able to come by the same day. After checking all the wires, found a short in one of the original wires that was installed when the house was built. Looked like all was well when he left. The job cost $465 and I was happy because he had fixed the problem. That night my post lights outside and a couple of other things in the house were not functional . I called Tony back, explained the problem and he scheduled to come back a couple of days later. He showed up when he said he would. Found that there were wires upon wires tied together by the original electrician. After about an hour of checking all the wire connections, Tony found that the outside post lights were not wired correctly and caused a short which affected several other electrical systems in the house. He cut that line out and rewired the rest of the house. The outside post lights have to be rewired separately. I have to install new landscape lights also, so I decided I would do all that together at another time. Tony did not charge me again when he came back the second time. He is very knowledgeable in his field. Tony does a thorough and clean job. I will definitely use him again for all my electrical needs and would refer him to all my friends and family.

I was happy to call and get a prompt answer to my call and service within 3 hours. They installed a new smoke detector which needed rewiring. They were quick and very professional and nice. I would definitely call them again. The cost of $150.00 included the labor (no charge for the labor as included in the service call fee).

We got Tony's info from Angie's list and called to have a new receptacle installed for the stove. It had been hardwired into the wall. He came out the next day and completed the work quickly and professionally. Before he left we asked for an estimate on the other work we wanted done (above). The next day I was emailed a detailed list with a cost for each. Tony also advised us that we had aluminum wiring throughout the house He recommended it be taken care of as soon as possible and included the cost for that as well. Tony and his assistant, Joe, arrived on time and completed all the work in two days. Both were professional, friendly and accommodating to additional changes I asked for. The work was beautifully done and the recessed lighting was so neat it looks like it was part of the ceiling from day 1. There was absolutely NO mess left. I would definitely recommend Diamond Electric to anyone and we plan to use them again when we get to the bathroom upgrade.

I lost power in a few rooms and outlets (including the kitchen) in my home; the electric company determined that there was an issue with the breaker in my electric meter. They notified me that I had to contact an electrician to look further into the problem with the breaker. After reading several Angie's list reviews on electricians, I decided to contact Diamond Electrical Services late afternoon on September 5th to schedule an appointment. Tony immediately returned my call, I explained the issue to him and scheduled an appointment to have him come over to take a look at the meter and provide an estimate. Although my call was late in the day, Tony came over that evening. I figured that if I was satisfied with the estimate, I would schedule an appointment so that he can return with the part(s) that were needed to make the repairs. Tony came to my home on time; he was very professional and friendly. He inspected the meter and provided me with a detailed explanation of the cause of the electrical problems in my home. Since this is my first time with dealing with electrical issues, I had several questions and concerns about the existing electrical work. Tony was incredibly patient and answered each question. I told him that on top of having to deal with the excessive heat in my home, I had to throw out all the food in my fridge. He told me that he probably had the part in stock and if he did, he would make the repairs right away so that I did not have to spend another night in the house without fans/air conditioning and a working kitchen. It turned out that he had the part and he made the repairs. Tony?s exemplary level of professionalism and extensive electrical industry experience is quite impressive. I will definitely utilize his services for future electrical work!

A great job as usual. I've used Diamond electrical several times. Tony is prompt, courteous, always on time and does excellent work. He will neither cut corners nor do unnecessary work. For this job, the provider arrived as scheduled and consulted me throughout the installation to make sure everything was set up to my liking. They did an outstanding job and left my home as clean as they found it. I may have been able to save a few dollars with another electrician, but I could not have gotten better service. Completely satisfied and will use again.

Everything went exceptionally well. Anthony explained everything and made some good suggestions. He was prompt, courteous and professional.

Overall it went extremely well. Tony was professional and reliable. He did an exceptional detailed write up, explained our aluminum wiring situation and explained how to bring it up to code. He was courteous, professional and worked around our busy schedules. He wasn't the cheapest estimate that we got, but we feel he did an outstanding job. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

I would recommend him to my friends. He was one of the kindest service providers that I have ever used.

We were very concerned because this was a very sporadic problem and was hard to explain. He scheduled us quickly and understood our concerns (there had been a fire in the area so we were very nervous). He found the problem immediatley. When I had a question several week later - he remembered and was able to help by phone. I would recommend highly. I will be using for a future lighting project.

Service was excellent. Returned my call right away. Appointment set up in a timely manner. Arrived on time and did a quality job with no mess. Quoted price was what we were charged. I will definitely call Diamond Electric for future needs.

From the point of me reaching out to him till the work getting done was a great experience. Tony was quite responsive and professional and did a fantastic job in what needed to get done. We had a catherdral ceiling that was fairly high and my biggest concern was will the fan sway when at full speed considering the hang. Tony heard my concerns as a customer and made sure during installation he addressed that point. Based on my experience, I will for sure keep him in mind for other jobs that I will have.

He arrived on time and was very professional and polite. Completed the work in a timely manner. We needed the work done in an emergent manner, so I didn't have time to get other quotes, but since then I've had other contractors come in for other work (and other electricians) I learned the price we were charged was definitely on the high end. He also gave me an estimate for upgrading our electrical box, which I have now gotten other estimates for, and he still remains more expensive on that estimate as well. Cost aside, though, he did exactly what we asked and was available in a hurry.

Communication about my issue and setting up the appointment was great. He was prompt, friendly, and professional. The work was done quickly and at what I feel was a very good price. He also gave me a very reasonable estimate on a future project. I will definitely contact him again as needed and will happily refer him to others.

Before calling Tony, I had tried a few other contractors. One contractor set up an appointment and never showed, and the rest never returned my calls. I spoke to Tony on a Friday and he set up an appointment for the following Monday morning. He showed up on time, completed the work quickly and cleanly, and the final cost was a little less than what I was quoted. I only wish I called Tony first, and I'll be using Diamond for all my future electrical needs.
