Diamond Electric is a great company to work with. They showed up on site when they said they would and got the job done in a little over an hour. The work was neat and well installed. My house has a lot of older wiring (BX) from the 30-40's that I wasn't too confident to work on. After searching on Angie's list I found Diamond and talked to Tony. Tony came in and knew exactly what to do. The job was done exactly as I hoped it would be. Tony answered each one of my emails with in an hour. I have no problem recommending them to others and no problem using them again. In fact, I asked for 3 quotes to install a new service panel and a couple extra circuits.

No problems. Everything went fine. This contractor was professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He was quick and efficient. His price was not cheap, but I got what I paid for and that was good service. Also want to mention that the contractor has a helper so the price paid includes the labor cost of two people.

I had contacted Tony to obtain an estimate on wiring a bay window that I was going to have installed that had overhead recessed lighting. I had contacted Tony about a year or more with regards to the same question, but at the time I placed purchasing the window on hold. I could not locate the estimate provided at that time, but sort of had an idea about the estimate given.. Tony was kind enough to offer me the same estimate he provided over a year ago. That right there shows great customer service! Anyway, the wiring of the window I knew would be a bit complicated, because I was concerned that if the window was installed prior to wiring; that there would be a need to remove some panels on the window or open up the wall next to it. I expressed my concern to Tony, and notified him of the day of the window install. Since I knew that the window install would take most of the day, Tony stated he would arrive that afternoon to run the necessary wiring hoping to be able to eliminate having to do extra work and open or dismantle walls and panels in my home. On the day of the install Tony and one of his workers appeared at my home at around noon time which was just when the window contractors had fitted the window in place. It was perfect timing. It was like Tony knew the perfect time to come. Both the window and electrical contractors worked in unison.Tony was able to easily access the wires for the recessed lights and to wire them to existing electrical outlets. A new switch was provided as well. There was no need to open up walls and panels. It was just an awesome experience as a customer to have a job go so well. This is the 2nd time I have used Diamond Electrical and I will continue to do so.

In a few words, as I am typing this on my cell phone. The provider was prompt, courteous and professional. They arrived on time, discussed my preferences and needs and worked quickly and quietly to get the job done. The final cost was lower than I expected given that it took a few hours to complete. I have nothing but good things to say. Now I have found my go-to electrician. Thank you Angie's List!

I read a couple of other reviews and gave Diamond a call. Within an hour (or less) Tony responded back and asked for several pictures to get a ruff estimate for the work. I had a couple of questions about the work, but each time, Tony answered every question and was not pushy for the work. I set the appointment date for 830 am and they were a actually a few minutes early and ready to go. He had another employee with him; Joe and both were extremely professional and courteous. They took about a hour and 45 minutes to complete the job and tested everything before they left. Extremely clean work and any mess that was made (sheet rock dust) was cleaned up. I had a question about another job and although Tony was scheduled for another job, he took the time to explain what would be needed (mounting a ceiling light where there is no power in the room or switches) and recommended another person who could help with painting. Very personable, professional and did a great job. I will hire Diamond for the next job we have and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

FANTASTIC ! Over the years I have worked with a lot of contractors and I must say I have never felt as comfortable as I did with Tony. Prior to even coming to my home, I sent him pictures of what I wanted to remove. I loved this idea. No surprises. Tony responded to me within a couple hours and came to my home to provide and estimate. Due to my busy schedule he was able to do the work on a Saturday. The hottest day of the year (over 100 degrees) Tony and his associate spent the whole day outside removing and installing. I completely forgot about the light outside I wanted to replace. This now gives me the opportunity to hire him again. Wonderful job !

EVERYTHING WENT PERFECT. THIS WAS A "!!EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL SITUATION!!"(I HAD "NO NEUTRAL"). This situation("NO NEUTRAL") could have caused a major problem(ELECTRICAL FIRE, ETC.). TONY(and his assistant VINNIE) completed the work in record time and averted a possibly ELECTRICAL FIRE.

He and an assistant arrived promptly on schedule, arranged his set up and immediately set to work. The job was completed in 4 hours; there was no dallying about. Both were obviously very knowledgeable, highly skilled - one working on the inside wall and the other working on the outside wall. Removal of the old panel box and wires were dissembled and rewired to the new circuit board. Sheetrock needed to be cut to fit the specifications of the new circuitry box since it was much larger than the original box. To allow easier access to the wall, the men were plenty considerate in pulling away the workbench and even cleaning up after the job was complete. Testing was also done at completion to ensure proper connectivity. Removal of cardboard, wiring, etc. was all removed from the premises. Men arrived alert, equipped, ready to handle the service call. Dressed cleanly and appropriately. Mannerisms were courteous, polite (without being cold), and professional. I have used this provider 4-5 times before over the course of the prior 7 years for my pool electrical servicing and find this provider to be extremely reliable, dependable in his service work and equipment. Not once did I need to call for rework. I felt at ease in hiring him to do a major job at considerable expense reliably and expertly. I would call upon him again.

I engaged Diamond Electrical Services to add an electrical box inside my fireplace for a gas conversion. I initiated the work order with an initial phone call to Tony, followed by a detailed description in writing of what I needed to be done and included 3 photos. Tony provided a reasonably priced in estimate in writing (PDF file) via email. The work turned about to be a little more labor intensive than estimated due to the width of my fireplace, which Tony had to drill through (brick) on both sides in order to route the power line and conduit. The priced stayed the same although the drilling took more time and effort than anticipated. The Old Bridge inspectors are known for their letter of the code inspections, so when the inspector came to inspect the work done by Tony at Diamond Electrical Services and said, "perfect", I was very happy. I received an electronic PDF email receipt immediately after payment.

After spending a couple thousand to upgrade our electrical panel with another electrical company and still having an issue. We were afraid it was a wiring issue so I called Diamond Electric for an appointment to find out why our lights were flickering in every room of the house, they gave me an appointment in a good timeframe. Showed up early and diagnosed our issue in minutes. They were very professional and nice. I highly recommend Diamond's Electrical Services.

The work was completed very very satisfactorily. I asked for an estimate before the work was done and the estimate was accurate and fair, They were on time, professional and very neat and considerate. I've already recommended them to friends and neighbors and would use them again. I prefer to patronize local businesses and it's great to find one as good as Diamond,

Paver project around swimming pool done in 2010 did not receive final electrical inspection of bonding as required by township's construction department. (I learned this when I needed a CO to sell my home and electrical inspector would not provide approvals unless I had bonding test done.) Tony completed test, even arriving a day ahead of our arranged appointment date! He continued to followup with me by email to confirm my receipt in the mail of a letter he prepared for the township inspector certifying the bonding. I would not hesitate to recommend Diamond Electrical Services to any of my neighbors requiring the assistance of an electrician.

It was an excellent experience right from the moment Tony walked in with his assistant. Both people are thorough gentlemen and thats where the first comfort feeling sets in. Watching the two work and listening to their conversation it was obvious that they are expert at their job. They quoted fixed price instead of hourly rate and that in turn shows the skill level and their confidence in their own ability. One of the seemingly simple problem took him more than 5 hours of effort and I am sure he quoted thinking the problem will take max of 1.5 to 2 hrs. It took him more time not because if his lack of skill but just the poor way the prior guy did the work and hid some of the mistakes. Tony being utmost professional did not charge me extra for his efforts but took only the price quoted by him. I really really appreciated that work ethics. Included in his price, he used material of premium brands and high quality which gives me confidence that things should last longer. Tony and his assistant handled the house with utmost care and left it in a very neat state once the job was done. Tony is a highly skilled, very professional service provider and that reflects in his pricing too :) If I have electrical issues again, I will engage Tony again.

It was great. When I called Tony to schedule this service, he and agreed time mutually agreeable day and time. Tony was immediate in his response to me. He is very professional, reliable, efficient and reasonable. I have used Tony's service in the past and will continue to use him in the future for any electrical needs I have. He answered all my questions. He was with his apprentice and while one one taking down the old fan/light the other was prepping the others which made the job go very smoothly which I appreciated.
