 + -1 moreDiamond Electrical Services did a great job. I had purchased a home built in 1942, and the electrical system was very, very outdated. When the home inspection was done, there was a long list of electrical upgrades that the home inspector strongly recommended. I sent the list to Anthony (owner of Diamond Electric), and he completed every upgrade on the list. I was very impressed. I had used Diamond Electrical Services in the past on a different home, but the projects had been small. This was a big project, and he and his worker did everything on the long list of upgrades, and they did it right.
Description of Work: The house needed 200 amp service, old electric wires in the detached garage removed, an exterior outlet installed, GFCI installed in the kitchen and bathroom. In addition to that, there was an exterior wire coming from the electric company that had been taped and was not to code. Anthony replaced that improper wire with the proper one, in accordance with code. He took care of the permitting process also. Also, I had a surge protector installed with the electric panel, to protect my laptop and TV in case of a lightning strike. On his own, he replaced old lightbulbs in the house with new, more efficient lightbulbs. He made the water heater safer by installing a copper wire between two parts of the water heater, and he did things I didn't even know needed to be done.
