Description of Work: "Replaced roof of two story house with attached garage. Tore off two old layers. Repaired and patched underlying damage and old vent cutouts (new roof included ridge venting). Cleaned up all debris. All completed in one day. |Very satisfied."

Description of Work: First we had our entire roof replaced, then we had half of our house resided, then we had 2 roof sky lights installed, and most recently had a repair of an area that was not recently replaced caused by damage from Hurricane Sandy.

Description of Work: He provided an estimate. I was out of town and he sent it to me, I signed and sent it back. He was very cooperative and helped to speed up the process. His people and he came on time, covered and protected shrubs, bushes, trees, etc. and went to work . They were efficient, pleasant and did do an excellent job, as recent wind and rain provide evidence. They finished as advertised, cleaned up and wished us well. Very efficient and businesslike.

+ -1 moreHe was responsive immediately. I called and he came over to give us an estimate right away -- within a day or so. He was very direct and pleasant. We didn't choose him at first; a larger competitor beat his price. But that contractor's office help lost our business by not providing basic but essential insurance information. We called back Biondo, who explained why his price was higher. His materials were stronger and had a better track record. He also agreed to knock $90 off his initial price. Any time we called him looking for information prior to the job he responded right away. The job was done a few weeks later (we were not in a hurry), within four hours. So far so good. We were happy to give the job to someone local and were impressed with his professionalism.
Description of Work: Sam Biondo installed a roof over the existing roof of our townhouse.

It took two calls (left a message the first time & no one called back), to get Mr. Biondo on the phone; Explained what I'm looking for and we set a date and an approximate time frame for him to come and give us an estimate. Have you seen? I haven't. He never called either. Well, this is one company I will never recommend.

Description of Work: You can read a detailed review on the website of Biondo contracting. In short I found Mr. Sam Biondo to be very punctual and professional. His estimate was accurate and acceptable. The cleanup was very good, as this was not my first time doing a Roof. I am posting this review, because I would like people to go to his website and see all the glowing testimonials that he has collected through the many years of serving the community. All the best and may the rain not be on your head indoors, which will not happen if Sam Biondo is doin your ROOF! Full roofing job consisting of ripping off 2 layers of shingles, tar paper, and replacing 21 4x6 plywood panels, and then laying a new layered shingle. Latter date replacing 2 large roof windows and replacing an entire side of vinyl siding to match the existing siding.

Description of Work: Had an appointment for 12-1pm on 3/5/11 for a quote on a new roof. Sam Biondo set the time and date. @ 130pm still a no show. I called and left a message. Sam returned my call 10 minutes later saying they would be about a half hour till they arrived. I asked whether that was definite. He said yes. I inquired as to why i didnt receive a call as to them being late and he said, "you know what? go find someoone else.". Extremely unprofessional.
