They did a great job. They were very efficient. Overall, I was very pleased. He reminded to check into my homeowners policy which covered the cost. He did everything right.

The owner of the company, George, was very professional. He promptly returned calls and answered our questions. Our 1930s house is made of cement blocks with a recent entryway addition (wood/drywall). We bought the house last winter and after the terrible spring and summer rains we had some leaking. There was a pervasive smell of mold that seemed to come from the entryway, although there was no visual evidence of mold and we had replaced the roof after it leaked. George agreed to remove the portion of the wall and floor where we agreed the damage likely had taken place. After removal and treatment, the smell remained. We agreed to a change order for additional work and George promised that he would continue the work until he found the source of the mold. George went beyond the scope of work we had originally thought necessary in order to find the source of the smell. He investigated and removed flooring from an adjacent room where it appears that a leak was coming under an exterior doorframe and then going under the floating wood floor. He found the leak! He encapsulated and treated the area. The clean up was immaculate. We are very happy with the work performed. We would recommend using American Mold Solutions.

All of the work was done very professionally and we would use his company again if we needed a contractor or mold specialist.

George was great. Was able to come in quickly for testing where others had refused. He coordinated with the sellers on my behalf and was able to come in for the test. Provided a thorough report and estimate, although we were told report would be in hand by WedPM/ThurAM... needed to send a reminder Thursday PM to obtain - got by Friday. Very professional, overall good guy, would recommend.

George, the owner of the company, came in to do an inspection initially for mold in my attic And possibly my basement. Originally I believed the basement had mold but he confirmed it wasn't and was not something to be concerned with. This was great news and a display of honesty since he could said it was to make extra money. The attic was definitely mold though so I hired him for the job. He explained how the work would be done and a timeframe for it as we'll both verbally and through an invoice. The work was done quickly and professionally. All the workers were very friendly and respected our home. We have a 10 month old and they would warn my wife when they would be making noise in case the baby was sleeping. They cleaned up after them selves every day and nothing was moved without it being put back. The job took less then a week and we already can tell the difference. My wife is having less sinus issues and I'm sure our son feels better too. There was one mishap during the job but it was handled immediately and professionally. And even with that I still would hire them again for any future mold problems I may have. George and his crew are all great workers and are the kind of people I wish every company had working for them.

Excellent! Arrived as scheduled, worked neatly and entirely isolated the effected area from the rest of the house. A little bit on the pricey side but then, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

I had a great experience with George's service. He is very courteous, knowledgeable and always available. Although there was a little bit of delay at the beginning due to scheduling, he made the necessary arrangement to install the micro trap air scrubber to help contain the situation. Once the project stated, it pretty much went all the way to the end. His team members are professional and thorough. They answered all the questions and give appropriate advises that we had. I am a very satisfied customer.

louis answered my call on the first attempt(no straight to voicemail) and came out within 2 days. i had noticed what appeared to be mold in my basement bathroom and was panicked because my basement is remoldled and a mold problem is the last thing i want or need. i had heard horror stories from people concerning how horrific mold in a basement can be and the cost involved. louis confirmed that what i was seeing was mold but assured me it could be taken care of and at a reasonable rate. he took the time to explain my particular situation, what he would be doing, and how much it would cost. he was back the next day with his protective suit and supplies and when he left the area was as clean as when he walked in--job completed. completely professional job and unlike others who have done various work at my home, he cleaned the entire work space before leaving. also took the time to explain exactly what was done, made double sure the mold was confined to bathroom only, and best of all the price didn't change. i would highly recommend Affordable Mold and Restoration before you call other companies that will scare you into spending thousands of dollars.

He did good work and he was kind, considerate and treated me with respect. The price was high, but they were there immediately, which I needed. They gave me the option to elevate my house, instead of bringing it down.

George came out and spoke with my husband. Explained everything he was doing and took samples. Sent out the samples and called us approx. 2 weeks later with the results. No Mold, yea! He mailed us out the report but I called him back and asked if he could put something in writing from his company that he did the test and all came back clean. He stated that was not a problem and we are waiting for the letter currently. Very happy with the service and professionalism. Would definitely use again.

he came for an estimate and said that we agreed to receive a charge for the estimate (he was the only one of 6 firms that was going to charge for an estimate.) he said that he was busy, and would get back to us late, but he never did.

I called George because of what I believed was mold emerging on the concrete walls of the basement in our new home, after reading almost every Angie's list review about all mold inspection and remediation services; he came 3 business days later (as planned), and called about 2 hours before the appointment to see if he could come early. His appointment happened to be on a day I had other workman at my house (pool opening; carpet installation) and particularly in contrast, George was a model of professionalism and competence. He walked through my whole basement and outside, offering clear and understandable tips on preventing water damage and infiltration, but most importantly to me, made the diagnosis that what I had was NOT mold (was actually efflorescence) and did not need anything done to it -- I had been very afraid of bringing in a company that would ultimately try to cheat me or sell me something I didn't need given the presence of what I thought was BigScaryMold, and George not only did the opposite, he knocked a little off my original estimate for his mold inspection because he felt he hadn't been needed. George also owns a construction company, and we discussed some potential non-mold related renovation work in the house, and he was thoughtful, clear, and again, exuded competence and trustworthiness. Whether for mold work or construction work, I would definitely contact George again. I actually bought my Angie's List membership simply to address this problem, and it paid for itself several times over now with just this one service visit.

American Mold Solutions was not the least expensive quote I received. I chose them because of prior Angie's List reviews and because of George's professionalism. The job was more involved than expected because we had more layers of subfloor than expected....but they soldiered through. This company's workers are top notch. They were very courteous and explained what was happening whenever I visited the site. I did not grade the "Price" above because I think this category should be renamed "Value". I think this company provides really good overall value. I intend to use them for an additional project in the near future.

Smooth from start to finish.

It was good. On his quote, he did not give me enough explanation of what the procedure was of all the things he is going to do. It was not quite as thorough as I wanted. I need to know if I am doing everything according to industry-standard protocols and legal regulations. They did it from their own protocol. I think it was just a little bit short of giving a complete explanation.

They were wonderful and really good. I can't say that I did not like anything about them; they were very courteous and even gave a gift when they came over; it was a coffee mug filled with candy. They were very thorough and explained everything; we were very happy with them. I think they are very reliable; when they say they are going to be somewhere on time, they were on time. If they were going to be a few minutes late they gave us the courtesy of a phone call; so that was good. I think his pricing was competitive; I would not say that he was cheap, but I would say that he was on the average of a ballpark figure of everybody else.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, my crawl space & garage got flooded. I looked for an honest company that could come to my home on a last minute notice. George arrived the same day as requested. He was very professional and provided good insight on my situation. I was very happy with the fast response for the mold test and recommendations provided afterwards.

American Mold Solutions was great! The crew was on time and friendly. The service required four days of work in my home, and the crew finished on time. When I saw my clean basement, I was shocked! It looked like a new room! I am surprised that the basement could look so good. I am very happy with American Mold Solution, and will refer them to others.

When George from American Mold Solutions initially came to my home to give me an estimate he was punctual, polite, and professional. I was quite upset about having mold in my home and he answered all of my questions and was very reassuring that the problem could be remedied completely and efficiently. George and all of his workers arrived on time each of the 7 days they worked at my house. At the end of each day they cleaned up their work areas, and mopped my entrance hallway where they had carried supplies in and out throughout each day. They explained what they were doing along the way, and answered all of my questions. The bathroom and dining room were enclosed in thick plastic while the mold was being removed so that it stayed contained within those rooms. I was confident that my family and I were safe the entire time. I would highly recommend George and American Mold Solutions.

Everything went extremely well. I think George is truly an expert on mold testing and remediation. He is very professional and should be called the "Doctor of Mold." He really does nice work and I feel very confident in his knowledge of mold removal. Even if you suspect mold, give him a call. He has equipment that can easily detect if you have mold, and tools to test the mold as well. I highly recommend.
