Description of Work: I had floors sanded and repolished and new floors installed. All the work turned out amazing. Nothing but the best. My only concern is they wouldn't so much as pick up or move anything from the floors. I am curious what it would cost if the house is furnished. I had to remove all of the staples on the floor since I had no clue(not a handy person) it would be an issue or not part of the work (when putting new floor you would make sure where you are installing is right so part of the work is to make that floor right). | |Other than that the work came out amazing and Emil was great.

Description of Work: Emil refinished all the old oak floors in my home. He came when promised and did the job as requested. The floors look great. My only issue was that he made a decision to putty cracks in the floor without consulting me first. However, overall he has easy to work with and did very nice, neat, thorough work. He even "customized" the shims under my radiators so they don't show anymore.

+ -1 moreEmil and his staff showed up right on time. The first day he did the handwork of stripping the old finish off the stairs, around the baseboards and around the balusters of the railings. The next day, they came in with the heavy stuff and removed the finish, sanded the floors and applied the agreed upon finish to the floors. I went with his mid-grade finish with no stain, leaving the natural oak color showing. Floors look brand new and I have received many compliments on how they look.
Description of Work: refinish hardwood floors in dining and living room and about 15 stairs.

+ -1 moreAfter a enghty and delayed process, we had just closed on our house the previous weekend. Emil came out on EXTREMELY short notice. He came with his wife and a small crew, and in one day removed a ton of hideous carpet, and sanded and refinished about 800 square feet of hardwood floors, including three half-flights of stairs. Emil even talked us out of staining the floor, saying the natural wood finish would look much better (and it does). They used water-based finish, which greatly reduced any chemical smell and increased drying time between coats. They stayed late to make sure they got all three coats on in the same day, and left the area spotless. Would absolutely recommend, thank you!

+ -1 moreI have used them in the past; they are great and I highly recommend them. They are really knowledgeable. We had someone else here doing the job; they were halfway through the job and I called American Eagle just to come for the refinishing. The American technician noticed immediately that the other company was using two different types of wood and that everything the other company was doing was not up to code. This company is easy to get in touch with, their prices are more than reasonable and their work is high quality. I will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used American Eagle Wood Flooring to install and finish a wood railing.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. When I called though, he never called me back. My painter had his phone number and called him, and then he came out. He did a wonderful job, the floors are beautiful.
