Troy's took my order, and took my payment. Then. . . .nothing. Several days after my cousin's birthday, I cautiously asked if she'd gotten any flowers. She said she had not. I followed up with Troy's Florist, who eventually told me that the local shop they were working with required a $20 surcharge (!!!) to deliver "premium floral bouquets". Now of course I had already paid a delivery fee with my order, it was charged separately from the cost of the flowers themselves. Worse, neither the local florist nor Troy's reached out to me to deal with this alleged problem. So if I had not followed up, Troy's would have just kept my money and failed to provide any services? That is theft. Nothing else to say about it. As a "fix", Troy's offered that I could pay the extra $20 to have the birthday flowers delivered Four Days after the birthday, or that they could refund my money. Of course, I took the refund. And because I do not trust this shady outfit, I am going to my bank today to verify the refund was issued. Otherwise, there will be a dispute opened through my bank card.
Description of Work: Troy's is a national chain that contracts with local florists in your area to deliver floral arrangements. I needed to have flowers delivered to my cousin for her 50th birthday.
