+ -1 moreWe were extremely pleased with this company. Their service was excellent, they were dependable and both employees and sub contractors were prompt, efficient and cleaned up each day. They stayed on schedule and kept us advised at each step. The owner and staff helped us find and choose the right materials, finishes and fixtures and made themselves available for any questions or concerns we had. While you might find a cheaper price, we felt we got full value for the cost in quality and professionalism.
Description of Work: They installed a new master bathroom from the studs out including all demo, construction, plumbing, fixtures and tile.

+ -1 moreMuch like some of the other reviews on this site, we met with Dave and were excited to see what his company could do for us. He came by, assessed our bathroom, and promised us something within two weeks. After that, nothing. I followed up with him and was told that he had been ill, but that he'd have something for us within the next few days. Once again, days passed and we received nothing. I left a few messages and even dropped by the showroom, but Dave was at an appointment. By this time, two months had gone by since our initial meeting. At one point I did mention our budget range. I don't know if that had something to do with him no longer interested in our project. Regardless, I would have preferred a simple and quot;we're not able to take on any new projects right nowand quot; or and quot;we typically don't take on projects less than $XXand quot; verses the silent treatment.
Description of Work: We met with Dave at his showroom and then met with him at our home. We asked for a proposal for our bathroom.

Description of Work: This company was a big disappointment for us. Had read the positive reviews and contacted them for a proposal for remodeling our kitchen and a powder room. I went and met with the owner for about two hours, then he came to our home and we met for another two hours, then my husband and I returned to his showroom and we met for another two hours. And then nothing. Weeks and weeks of silence. I called a number of times, left messages. Finally, received a call back with the message that there was an ill parent-in-law and that he would be following up by that weekend. More weeks of silence. It's fine if he had more lucrative projects to pursue but it is definitely not cool to take up a great deal of a customers time and energy in meetings to discuss the details of a large remodeling project --- and then just disappear. Highly unprofessional. We have also had illness within the immediate family but you have to keep doing your job. Either that or be honest and tell people you are out of commission until further notice. The leaving people in the lurch is not cool.

+ -1 moreThe overall experience was great. All the professionals--electrical, plumbing, cabinet installers, granite supply, ...were great and the salesperson worked with us well. He came up with great ideas and helped us select the tiles and countertop.
Description of Work: Remodeled 2 bathrooms and plan to use Beautycraft for 2 more. Remodeled the master bathroom and my daughter's. Gutted the entire bathroom and installed all new cabinets, floor and walls.

+ -1 moreThe sales person I dealt with was wonderful, very communicative, very considerate, and he wanted to work with us on our ideas. He was great. The craftsmen that he hired (i.e., the demolishers, the cabinetmakers, the carpenter, the plumbers, and the electricians) all were excellent and very professional. When there were problems, they did what needed to be done. The results are really good and I am very happy with them. I would consider using them again in the future if needed. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: The last time I used Beauty Craft Kitchens and Baths was for them to do a complete remodel on my bathroom. They gutted the room from the floor to the ceiling. They did a complete job with all new fixtures, walls, ceiling, tub, sink, and other accessories.

There were no real surprises and everything went smoothly. They were personable and communicative and skilled. The results are excellent.

+ -1 moreI can't say enough good things about Beautycraft. Dave's prices are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The finish work is fantastic, especially as compared to work done by other contractors. We loved the fact that before starting demolition he spent a day putting durable covers on our hardwood floors and stairs to protect everything. We had to walk on plywood for a month, but it was worth it. One of the best things was that he put a real estate lock box on the outside of the house so his workmen could let themselves in. We didn't have to wait around every morning or have keys floating around. He also recommended good places for us to look for tile and fittings. My only quibble was that I wanted some other work done while contractors were there (electrical). I was willing to have it written into the original contract, but Dave did not want to do that. Some of the work got done, but other things didn't- I'll have to arrange for other tradesmen.
Description of Work: Dave gutted and re-did a small bathroom with a shower.

+ -1 moreI DID THINK THAT THE CARPENTRY WAS PRECISE. THE FINISH ON THE CABINETS HAS STARTED TO BUBBLE and THE TILES ON THE FLOOR (12 X 12) ARE CRACKING DUE TO INCORRECT INSTALLATION. SOME OF THE WORK WAS GOOD, BUT SOME WAS NOT. THEY TOLD US THE TILE WOULD NEVER NEED REPLACED.
Description of Work: I HAD MY BATHROOM REMODELED. THE SPACE IS THE SAME, JUST A DIFFERENT FLOOR PLAN. THEY DID A LOT OF WORK IN THIS AREA.

+ -1 moreTHE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL. THEY CAME IN, STRIPPED THE KITCHEN DOWN TO THE WALL STUDS AND REBUILT THE ENTIRE THING ALONG WITH NEW WALLS, FLOORING, APPLIANCES AND FIXTURES. THEY DESIGNED EVERYTHING THEMSELVES AND WITH ONLY A LITTLE BIT OF INPUT.
