Description of Work: My big screen TV was not working - would not turn on. They quickly scheduled a visit and arrived during the time frame requested. The tech quickly determined that I had not plugged the power cord into the set correctly, it worked fine as soon as he put it in! My bad! Great and friendly service, would completely recommend - but check the power cord first!!

Description of Work: They repaired my dryer, it wasn't giving off any heat. They informed me what was wrong, what the cost would be and fixed in on the spot. It's worked great ever since.

Description of Work: We received a phone call from Dave on Sunday, October 12, 2014. My husband |explained the issue with our washing machine. Dave told us immediately the problem we had and that it could not be repaired. The bearings were shot and it would be more economical to purchase a new one. He wasn't going to make the trip to our house and charge us for something he knew wasn't repairable. We did appreciate that, and will definately keep his number in our file.

Description of Work: Dave came out the same day I called him. Our washer and dishwasher both needed repair. After taking a look at them, he determined that it would be more economical for us to replace them than to repair them. I appreciated his honesty as he only makes money for repairs. He does not sell appliances so he does not benefit from telling us we need new machines. He made some recommendations as to what we should purchase. The visit and consultation was $75 which I was not made aware of in advance but I did not ask either. I will use Dave again and highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Dave was punctual, honest and repaired my washing machine quickly. I had also asked him to clean and change my dryer vent but when he looked at it he said it did not need to be done. I would absolutely use dave again!

Description of Work: Dave of Dave's appliance was called to come regarding my washing machine. When I explained the issue he told me that he did not need to come and charge, and explained why. He was right. That was very honest and decent, and was great.

Description of Work: I've reached out to Dave many times now. He's honest, very quick to respond to calls and a pleasure to work with. Provided good information we I was trying to determine what I should do with my stove that had a few things wrong with it (should I repair or buy new). I would completely recommend this business.

Description of Work: My dryer would run but not heat. Dave's showed up promptly and fixed it (took the entire dryer apart, fixed, put it back together and even vacuumed it all out in less than an hour!) He also noticed and offered to fix a ripped exhaust line as well, for which I was grateful.

Description of Work: My 10yo washer started making loud noises. I called Dave to get this fixed. He answered the phone promptly and diagnosed the problem over the phone. His advise was to replace the washer. I am replacing other appliances, and asked for his advise on brands to consider; he took the time patiently to provide invaluable advice. Description of Work: Dryer was not effectively drying clothes, Dave inspected dryer components and exhaust, discovered problem in exhaust, and repaired. I initially called Dave based on favorable Angie’s List rating. Left phone message which he returned quickly. I described the problem I was experiencing with the dryer, and Dave initially recommended a possible fix that would have avoided any charge or visit. When that didn’t work, Dave was able to come over quickly (within the hour) to see for himself what the problem was. He was able to determine the cause, repaired, and was on his was in about 30 minutes. Based on his responsiveness, willingness to try a fix that involved no visit or charge, ability to find the problem quickly, and charge fairly for work performed, Dave would be the first one I would call if another problem developed with our washer or dryer.

Description of Work: Yesterday, 10/2/13 the filter in my KitchenAid refrigerator would not load properly causing a massive water problem in my kitchen. In panic, I called Dave's Appliance and as the last time, I got a phone message saying he would get back to me within 15 minutes. True to his word a few moments later Dave returned my call. Within an hour from my original call Dave was at my house!!!!! After assessing the situation, it was discovered that the filter housing unit had to be replaced. I got a call this afternoon that Dave had the part and once again Dave was at my house within a half hour. The part was replaced and I once again have a functioning water and ice dispenser. Dave apologized for having to charge me for two service calls but I honestly understand that the man is in a business and his time is valuable. I had no qualms about paying for the services that were earned honestly.

Description of Work: I called Dave at 9am in the morning to schedule a repair for my refrigerator. I assumed that I would have to wait until the following day for the service call. Much to my surprise and delight, Dave was at my house by 11:30am. Two and a half hours after I had called for the appointment. Dave promptly fixed my refrigerator. His price was very fair and he was very professional. I would happily recommend Dave.

Description of Work: They checked a washing machine. They weren’t’ able to fix anything because he said it wasn’t really worth fixing. It turned out very good. He was really honest and upfront. He said it would cost a certain amount of money and it was on its last leg. He made some recommendations. He is someone I would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: Dave was wonderful. He came out early on a Saturday to troubleshoot our dishwasher. He could have easily charged us to make a temporary repair but he was honest with us that another issue might pop up a few months later and our best bet was to get a new dishwasher. Dave also answered a few unrelated questions we had about our appliances. He was extremely pleasant and will be our first call if we have any appliance issues.

Description of Work: Called at 8:30 am called right back on Saturday. Showed up on time at 10:30am. Fixed refrig problem and was very thorough. Excellent service very satisfied.
