Dave returned my call promptly on a holiday and came the next morning. He fixed it quickly. There was no mess. He is a nice man.

Dave was upfront about the diagnostic charge of $75. He called, came quickly although we made it clear it was not an emergency and diagnosed the problem including the cost estimate of repair. Will definitely call for any future repairs on appliances and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

What a pro! Dave answered my initial call immediately, and after I described the problem, set up an appointment for the next morning (a Saturday). He was right on time, completely professional, and cleaned up well after he completed the repair. The dryer needed a new thermostat, which he had on hand. He replaced it, cleaned out the dryer, and make sure that everything else was in good working order since he had the machine opened up. All in all, a great experience. I would use Dave again without hesitation.

My 10 year old spare refrigerator was no longer cold. Since I hadn't opened it for a few days, I had no way of knowing until I went to put some food in it. I discovered the problem on Sunday and considered replacing it, thinking that it might make more sense to replace this than to incur the cost of having it fixed. After spending an hour in Sears, i was shocked at the prices, so decided to give Dave a call. Dave is one of those rare breeds who is extremely responsive. He has a phone system that tracks him down, and he always responds quickly. Even though I stated that it wasn't an emergency, he called me back later (on the same Sunday) and came out on Monday - at my lunch hour. He used some "kit" to fix the compressor, and in 15 minutes, it was working again. I'm happy to have saved this refrigerator (which I really like for it's big freezer), and also to keep another large appliance out of a landfill. This is the third or fourth time I've had Dave come out and I'm always impressed with his service. He "saved" my old (but expensive) Whirlpool Duet and gave a few years more life to an old side-by-side refrigerator. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. Thanks, again, Dave.

Dave arrived on a Saturday morning, I explained the problem to him, and he asked me to turn on the dryer. He immediately realized that there was something wrong, as there was a gas odor. PSE&G had been to my house twice and said there was no gas leak. Dave couldn't understand at first why this was happening, so he took the dryer apart and looked inside. He realized the vent was disconnected. He handily connected (and reinforced it so it would stay put). He was in and out in less than one hour, and fixed a problem that no one else seemed to be able to fix.

He did excellent work--leak stopped! This the third time Dave has come to the house for a repair, and he has always been efficient, punctual, friendly and responds to our phone calls in a very timely fashion. He tries to incur minimal cost by always offering the less expensive alternative first. I would recommend him to anyone.

Our washing machine malfunctioned on Thursday afternoon. I called Dave from Dave's Appliance Repairs and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Dave came on time and was friendly and figured out quickly what the problem was. He was able to fix it right away. It was done to a high standard. Dave was very knowledgable and gave me advice about different brands of laundry machines. Overall I was very happy with the service provided. He was also really friendly to my daughter which is always a plus! I would definitely recommend him.

Overall it was good. It was a mixed job. The first person that came out told me that my appliance couldn't be fixed and I would need to buy a new one. I called them and asked to have a second person come out and this guy came out and fixed it in about 10 minutes. Overall, I think that I was satisfied with the service they provided. I think that I would recommend them. I would probably use them again. The second technician that came out was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing.

Dave contacted me 20 minutes before arrival, early in the window of time he provided me with the day before. He was professional, friendly, and efficient. The problem was diagnosed quickly, and the part was readily available in his van. Service was completely efficiently and neatly. I would definitely reccommend!

He came out quickly to repair my dryer. Turns out there wasn't anything wrong with the dryer, but he double checked and gave it a clear bill of health.

David came in on a Saturday to assess my Kenmore Dryer. The problem was my computer and instead of him doing it he recommended me to go around a warranty system saving me close to 400 dolars. Thank you Dave.

This was the most painless service call ever!! I called in the early afternoon and left a message. Dave got back to me with 20 min. Asked what was wrong. Said he would be here sometime this afternoon. He was at my house in just over 1 hour! What a pleasure to answer the door to a clean & neat uniformed man. He proceeded to my kitchen and began working on the problem. He was very knowledgable, and solved the problem quickly. He also advised me of costs as he went thru different tests. He found the problem and fixed it. When I paid the bill he gave me a sticker with his information. I was so pleased he didn't slap it onto the side of my appliance. I would recommend Dave to anyone.

We've used Dave twice, so since I'm so slow in reviewing the first call in Fall of 2013, I'll do both because we called him back for our Washer in March 2014. I trusted my gut and relied on an old hunch. I chose Dave first mainly because I believe in a compnay with the owner's name on it. Turned out, Dave himself came to call and that was even better! It's harder and harder to find a craftsman these days - a man that has been in business for himself for double digit years and represents his skill with pride. I sensed that it was not just about a job, Dave was eager to tell me about my appliance and why the equipment failed. My stove last Fall had shorted out the ignition switch that would turn the oven on, and last month, my Washer had broken the part that stabilizes the wash tub during agitation and spinning. I should have known better than to overload it with every pair of jeans our family of four had dirty at once, but Dave did not judge. He also doesn't mind if you stand there with him, asking more questions, not only about that appliance, but about just about any appliance you've been hearing about - though he might not like it if I've inspired many others to do so that wouldn't have normally! I have an old school Washer (15 years old) and had questions about the wave of shiny new high efficiency models. Turns out, I'll be holding on to old Bessy for the forseeable future with a reliable repairman like Dave around. In no time, just minutes after he could get under there and get his hands on it, he had completed the task, in both cases. The stove job last fall was two days before Thanksgiving so I braced for an opportunistic whammy of a bill, but again, this is where the one man, business owner who also does the work scenario fosters a pride in quality AND integrity. Sorry if it looks like I'm dissing the multi-level personnel repair set ups, but years of not so rosy experiences has left me a tad anxious when taking on a new contact. I feel much better now knowing I have a "go to guy" for any appliance work!

We used Dave to fix an old refrigerator. We wanted to try and save it for another year. He was thorough and very fair. He explained and showed me everything that he did. The refrigerated lasted another year which is what we wanted.
