Scheduling: I had scheduled the original move-in cleaning in advance of the closing date of my house. When the closing date was pushed back unexpectedly, I had to change the cleaning date with very little notice. The company was very accommodating, and worked with my schedule. Punctuality: The ladies arrived a little late because they weren't aware of how long it would take to get to my house. Unfortunately at the time they were driving to the house, traffic is miserable, so that is understandable if you're not familiar with the area. Actual work done: The ladies did an excellent job. All cabinets and drawers were cleaned inside and outside, as well as the refrigerator/freezer, and oven. Bathrooms, light fixtures, and closets were cleaned, and floors were swept/vacuumed. I have a library with built-in shelving, and each and every shelf was dusted, as well as the top of the bookshelf. The only "dirt" I was able to find after they left were some cobwebs at the top of my high ceilings. I imagine they would've been more visible during the day, and with better lighting, but they were cleaning until after 9:00 PM. Overall, an excellent job! I would definitely hire them again.

We had a little scheduling conflict, but when the team came, they did a great job. My house had been neglected for a long time, so they had a lot to do.

Cleaning crew were professional and took great care. They did exactly what I asked within the time frame they had.

I purchased this offer on June 14, intending to have them clean my home's first floor three main rooms before a July 2 arrival of three guests who were staying with me for a month. I called the company immediately after buying the deal to set up the initial appointment and had to leave a voice mail message. I stated the date I needed the service provided by in my message. After a week I had not had a return call to set the appointment! So I called again and spoke to a woman who said "Allejhandra" (not sure of the spelling) would contact me. She called me on the weekend, I believe, and we arranged for her to come on the 27th of June at 10:00 AM. This is now 2 weeks after I purchased i.e. paid for the "Big Deal". So at 8:30am on Thursday, June 27 she calls and needs to reschedule me at 1:00PM ! That's a big difference and I suspected my appointment was tossed in favor of a existing client - the idea of an keeping an appointment seemed too fluid with this firm. This of course messed up my day too as it meant my schedule also had to be reworked to accommodate the need to be home into the afternoon. She arrived close to the appointment hour and after seeing the intended work area confirms that they s hould be able to accommodate me by coming the following Monday, July 1. She asked that I spray the oven with oven cleaner the night before they were to come to ready it for the final cleaning, which of course I did. She will call me after the schedule is worked out back at her office the next day and let me know what time. I thought that was odd - she couldn't commit to a time then-and-there?? On Sunday night I sprayed the oven with the cleaner for the next days anticipated appointment . Well apparently after the schedule was prepared, it was determined that they couldn't fit me in after all ! So she called me to discuss a different date when they could come. I was frankly really annoyed and said that rescheduling it would now be too late for my house guest coming for July but I had other guests coming the end of the July for the month of August. I would move the cleaning to just before their arrival to July 29 instead. Remember too that I now have a sprayed oven which I have to finish cleaning myself and my guests are due the next day. Now that the Big Deal cleaning is not taking place this means I have to race around and clean all the areas I thought THEY were going to do!! GRRR So on July 29 at close to the agreed time of 11AM the women came and did the basic work. Frankly I felt too much time was spent cleaning wood blinds, rather than doing more cleaning of the living room and/or scrubbing the wood floor, instead of just damp mopping it. I had hoped for much more thorough cleaning especially since at least three women were doing the work. One odd request came from the manager who asked me if she could have one of my bananas as she was hungry and had not eaten an adequate breakfast? Of course I was gracious and agreed she could have one but this was unprofessional and I wasn't even a client yet!! In the end although the work they did looked "okay", frankly I do a better job myself cleaning when I have the time. The whole point of me treating myself to this service was to make it easier on me so I could focus on preparing for the three guests needs, preparing for their stay and the cleaning of the upstairs bedrooms. AS a single homeowner this should have been a real treat but I felt very stressed about how it went and this confirms why I don't bother spending my limited income to have others clean for me. ADDENDUM TO ORIGINAL REVIEW One additional experience that I forgot to include was when I heard the sound of glass breaking and the Manager came to me with the remnants of a cheap hurricane oil lamp shade which was broken. I knew that I had once partially broken a portion of it so I told her this and said not to be concerned. However it was no until a few days later that I also discovered that items that had been displayed above this lamp were also damaged. One was an antique wood carving shadow-box that the cleaner had put in the dish water and washed it ! It was still very wet and several items in the tableau had come unglued/unpainted. The other item was a pottery head of a fox, made in England, which held twine and scissors. Apparently it was this item, that when taken off the display wall, where it hung on a nail, was dropped onto the lamp shade below it thus causing the damage to the hurricane shade. However what I found later was that the fox head had also received damage and no broken pieces were left for me to try repairing it. Neither was any mention mad e of this nor the wooden plaque damage. I was left to discover these myself. Again, not a professional attitude. If the cleaner is not absolutely sure that an object is safe to clean with water/scouring powders/heat/ or the use of chemicals, etc. they should ask the homeowner before touching it! I didn't dream anyone would put an object made of (painted) wood into water !! Anyone knows water and wood do NOT mix !! It is my distaste of a cleaning service not 'fessing up" to damages tthey've caused that made me cease using a prior cleaning service several years ago. They snapped 10" off the formica trim of my island and left the pieces in the trash w/o mentioning it. I found it upon my return home later that day.

Contacted this provider twice through messaging in Angie's List - no response.

The phone contact went very well, asked alot of questions. Three girls arrived and cleaned the Bathroom and Kitchen in an hour = they came with all the cleaning supplies and did a very good job. They asked me to inspect everything before they left to make sure I was satisfied. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job of cleaning the house and leaving it in an immaculate condition. The crew was very efficient and didn't waste any time. The job was completed in 3 hours. The house smelled great after they were done. The women answering the phone were very courteous and professional. They explained everything to me in great detail before I retained them for the work. The crew was pleasant and followed instructions perfectly. I expect to hire them for regular biweekly cleaning as well. One minor issue though and probably not their fault. I had originally hired them to do the work at 9:00 am in the morning. The crew was supposed to be a 3-member team collectively charging $110/h. However, I received a call from Happy Home Services at around 8:00 am that morning advising me that one of the members of that 3-member team had called in sick and that they must reschedule it to 12:30 pm. Ordinarily, the last minute change would have been a huge inconvenience to me but luckily I had taken the day off from work. Because I had additional contractors lined up to do other work starting at 4:30 pm, I told them that the work needed to be completed by 4:30 pm. The person on phone was understanding and offered to send a different 4-member team albeit collectively at $146/h. The team arrived about 15 minutes late but were done in 3 hours - out of the house by 3:45 pm.

The Happy Home Services team is awesome! They are very professional, courteous, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. Calls and emails get returned promptly and the service is exceptional. My house looks and smells so clean after they leave, it's such a pleasure to come home to a clean house! I would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable, reliable cleaning service.

Happy Home Services did an okay job but what I'm going to give them a lot of bad point was the first time called to set-up an appointment, they didn't call me back. I think I had to call them a total 2 or 3 times to get the first appointment so I kind of forgot about that. Then we were going to use them afterwards and ask them to come back and do services, and I called twice, didn't call me back and then we I called again the person admitted knowing that they didn't call back. She knew that I had found her on Angie's list and she knew that whenever I got around to, I was going to leave bad feedback for not getting back to me. She apologized for that, they just said they were very busy and that I was on her list to call. She wasn't able to say to me "well I would have been calling you in an hour or a day or the next day" and so that made me have to move on to find someone else. I don't know whether they got so over swamped with the offer that they just didn't have the phone capabilities to call back. It would be things like you'd call during their scheduled hours and they wouldn't answer, it would go right to the machine. I probably wouldn't use them again. They did come out. They were nice, they did a good job on what they should do but I had to call them and I had to call them back. I actually asked one of the people when they were here if she could have the office call me and let me know what it would cost to go forward, that never happened. Then I waited a couple of days and I called, left a message, called, left a message and then when I finally did get someone I said "why are you now calling me back?" She said "it's because she was busy" so I told her I wasn't going to pursue it and that I was going to give a negative feedback. I had no problem with the people that were in my home, I had no problem with the work that they did but the their not calling back ever, that's an issue. They probably did a little less than 6 hours because I had a couple of rooms that I told them that they didn't need to do but that was at my request. The price was good and they were on time coming here. I believe they came when they said that they would. The people that were here were very nice and they were fine.

As a stay at home mom of 3, I have mastered tidying and let cleaning fall to the wayside. To help us get back on the groove, I contacted Happy Home. we scheduled a walk thru and made an appointment for a thorough cleaning the following week. Three lovely women arrived on a Monday afternoon and left my home as clean as can be with all the dirt behind. Seriously, we could not be happier! I have dice made arrangements for future visits. Spectacular business with spectacular results!

Happy Home Services did a great job cleaning my house. Unfortunately, they have a punctuality problem. If you're looking for a service to clean your house and you don't care WHEN they perform the service, I fully recommend these guys. If you're on a schedule and you need your house cleaners to be prompt, this is not the team for you. (They even told me that themselves.)

I had purchased a big deal, and it went very well. They were very thorough, polite, and they were busy the whole time. I think they did a very good job.

They did a really good job and the cleaner were very professional. Some of the time was definitely spent in areas where I could not see the results so overall for me it was expensive for what was done. I had to rush them to get to the downstairs so the quality of clean was sub par there compared to the upstairs where I think they spent too much time. 3 people for 4 hours is a lot of cleaning and I feel that others have done the job as well in less time.

The team showed up on time and they were very thorough, cleaning everything in their path. We had two small issues with the service- one, their steam carpet cleaner was broken, so we couldn't have our carpet cleaned as we expected. Two, the company rep came prior to the cleaning date to evaluate the job, and apparently, to up-sell the Angie Deal. We were told they needed extra time to do the job, so we agreed and paid the extra fees, but when the team arrived, it was painfully obvious that they needed to stretch out their work to fill the extra hours- by going over the same things over and over. Yes, the house was spotless. Yes, they did a great job. But no, I didn't feel as though it was a good value, and I would not use them again. Every Angie's List person I've ever hired has been excellent, almost.

The women doing the cleaning were very friendly and very thorough. They cleaned everything thoroughly and the house was sparking and smelled great. Will use them again for move out cleaning at our old house.

very very thorough....they encouraged me to check everything before they left. I had a few comments on items I wanted cleaned a bit better or differently and they got right on it. everything was so so so clean and the ladies were so polite! My house (4 days later) still smells like freshness and cleaning goodness.

Absolutely great results. The 3 women came on time, and did a thorough spring cleaning in 3.5 hours - all the papers were organized and put away - cleanest I have had the house in a long time!

They were prompt and professional.

It went great - 3 cleaners, all working hard and effectively for 4 hours equals one clean house. I was very impressed with the lengths they went to get to everything. It was a mother's day present and my wife was thrilled.

Fisrt day they didn't show up because someone forgot the schedule them, but they took 36 dollars off the price. Next day they showed up promptly and worked their hearts out.

We were very pleased with Happy Home's cleaning service. The ladies were friendly and worked hard the entire time without a break. The house had a lot of dust from some construction work we had done in our kitchen. The ladies were very thorough and made sure everything was wiped clean and sparkled. They did an amazing job in our bathrooms and really sanitized them. All of our floors were swept, vaccuumed, and mopped. I have already scheduled them to come again and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors. Great job!

It went well. The staff was professional and thorough. It was a good experience.

This was a very good experience. I had purchased this as part of the big deals and I had them do additional work at the same time, which I worked with the owner on clarifying ahead of time. The owner was very professional and she did an excellent job setting expectations and meeting commitments. I have had several bad experiences with other firms and I have to say this was the best experience I have had.
