Garden State Paving & Masonry was a pleasure to work with. Sonny responded to all of my questions via phone call and text message before the job was completed. Full payment was taken after the job was done. After shopping around, GSP&M was by far the most professional, flexible schedule, and pricing was competitive to the industry. When Cruz and his team were here, they were very personable, adjusted to whatever challenges were met or changes made.

Work initially was good. Driveway has settled and has been avoiding returning to proper repair/fix the work to avoid major pooling in the driveway. Has been to property a few times and promises to return and nothing happens. Sonny's crew dug a trench along driveway into yard to move water to move the water. When I told him that was unacceptable, he became very enraged and unprofessional. Have attempted numerous times to contact Sonny but he avoids me now or pushes me off to his foreman Cruz. Cruz does not return calls either. Update 9/6: Amazingly after posting a bad review Sonny is being responsive and also blaming his foreman for not returning my wife's text to schedule appointment. He has now promised to redo the work only after I remove the bad review for his work. As he doesn't want the review to hurt his business. His response after I responded NO to removing review until after work was complete is as follows: "To compromise then I guess I will just keep the review as I told your wife it helps to make my reviews look more authentic because I have so many good ones it may seem fake to some people And you can keep Driveway as is thanks " This is all after trying to work with him since April.

Owner Sonny made it easy for me to work with this contractor. After we agreed on his very good priced proposal, I waited a few weeks to schedule the job removing a very old asphalt driveway. He and his crew were right on time on June 28th. I watched each step of the process from start to completion. Each member of his work team showed keen interest to make their work effort and its results to the highest standards of excellence. The new driveway looks sensational. Sonny came back on Saturday, June 29th to check on my Customer Satisfaction and to answer any follow up questions. Great job, quality and professional all the way around by Sonny and his dedicated team.
