This was a great experience. Sonny was a pleasure to work with. The job was completed in a timely manner. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the work. My neighbor saw what they were doing and hired them on the spot. This is a great company.

GREAT COMMUNICATION- from initial estimate, to scheduling, to post-work questions, the owner (Sonny) was accessible and responsive to multiple questions regarding a large driveway tear out and re-install. Even though it is the busy season, Sonny arrived when he said he would (on a Saturday evening) to go over the job and provide an estimate. He also was punctual with scheduling and get me informed of any changes due to weather concerns. EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL - from Sonny to every single one of the crew that performed the work, everyone was courteous and professional and evidenced a sincere desire to leave the jobsite perfect and neat when it was completed. NICE WORK - my driveway looks very nice and is a tremendous improvement over the original one. INSTILLS CONFIDENCE - I believe that a true measure of a contractor is not how the job looks when completed, but how responsive they are once the work has been completed and they have received final payment. I had some follow up queries with Sonny a day or two after everything was done -- he was as responsive to those questions as he was to the pre-contract ones. In other words, I don't think Garden State Paving just viewed me "as another paving job"; rather, I have been left with the very real sense that the quality of the work and my satisfaction with it was a paramount concern for not only Sonny, but his entire crew. Given that Garden State Paving provides a 2 year warranty on a complete install job, their responsiveness was a big factor in my selection for this job. OVERALL, VERY SATISFIED - Garden State Paving was one of many (8 or 9) contractors that I contacted to provide quotes (3 never responded at all). Garden State Paving was the most responsive and most professional of all of them and I think they provided a solid value. All other contractors wanted to re-pave (or re-surface) my existing driveway, but it had several sections that had "sunk" over 12 years and I was concerned that they would simply sink again (a house is only as good as its foundation, right?). Sonny shared the same concern and we did an entire re-pave of the driveway, which not only alleviates the concern but also came with another year of warranty (2 years vs 1 year for a re-surface), at a nominal difference in cost considering the difference in labor and materials. All in all - WELL DONE and I would RECOMMEND Garden State Paving

Garden State Paving was an excellent contractor and it was a pleasure dealing with Sony. He called and actually showed up at the scheduled time to provide an estimate. The work was performed on the date and time scheduled. My driveway came out beautiful and the work done to repair my steps and sidewalk was excellent. Would highly recommend them.

I interviewed six contractors for my driveway and replacement of steps. My steps looked like they came out of a design magazine and my 5,000 sq ft driveway is immaculate. If you want a fare price and incredible work, look no further. Sonny is so easy to work with, I called him several times a day and his staff are great. They started as 7 and left at 7. Look no further, you will be so happy with the results. Sonny was a referral and now my neighbors are working with him!

I could not be happier with the job Garden State Paving did for me. The guys were thorough and meticulous. They got into every nook and cranny around my rock wall without damaging or staining it. I have a 10 foot high deck that they had to carefully work around the footings and posts without damaging them. All of these areas had to be done by hand rather than by the roller. They were done with perfection. When they were finished, they cleaned up the work area leaving nothing for me to tend to. And on top of all of this, the price was extremely reasonable. From other reviews I have seen, I would call Sonny sooner than later because I'm sure he is going to get booked up pretty fast. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

GSP did a great job on my 1800 sqft driveway. Sonny was there in the a.m to show me how it would look and his staff took over. The guys that were there to actually do the work were very nice and they are all very talented. When they were finished, they cleaned everything up and left my yard nice and neat. Sonny was supposed to be there to do the final walk through and collect the rest of his payment (we paid him half up front, and half when the job was completed), but he was unable to be there so the foreman on site did the walk through with us. Everything was done to our satisfaction and we were very pleased with the outcome. Sonny came by a few days later to receive the second half of his payment and spent some time with us after as well. Sonny is a very nice gentleman and we would recommend Garden State Paving to anyone looking for a paving job!

Get a couple of estimates. Paving was up against a new concrete walk on two sides. I expected a bit of a mess from the roller, footprint, etc. there was nothing, clean neat job and done quickly.

Sonny responded quickly to our need for help and his crew was there to start the project practically the next day. In our case there was a small delay in the middle because in turned out that we had a problem with ground water welling up. But Sonny addressed the issue and found a solution. I think that they did a good job for the money.
