Frank was easy to work with. Fair pricing. Got the chimney flashing fixed. After he got in there, the plywood was rotted out. He gave a fair price to drop in new plywood and shingles and the flashing when the scope expanded. Would absolutely recommend for roof work.

Contractor quoted a price and after several proposals we decided to choose Mr. Pinto. Initially Mr. Pinto requested that before he would provide proof of insurance he needed us to sign his contract. We agreed but after further questioning Mr. Pinto said he only had liability insurance and not workers compensation which he said is why he was so much lower, he also said because workers compensation is too expensive. We told Mr. Pinto that in order to begin work we would need proof of his liability insurance and a signed hold harmless agreement for bodily injury to which he agreed. Shortly after Mr. Pinto said he made a mistake when he 1st arrived and stated that we had 2 layers of shingles and that would be more money. We had him draw up a 2nd proposal for that amount pending obtaining his insurance and our signed hold harmless agreement. The following evening Mr. Pinto texted me asking if we would like repairs to our chimney and I declined. Keep in mind he has not signed our hold harmless agreement and we have already given him a 50% deposit at this point. Also prior to any of this Mr. Pinto demanded that we wire the monies to his PNC bank account to which we refused and stated we only pay in checks to keep account of monies. He then added a condition that was NOT on the original contract to which we had him revise to correct again. Finally he said he made a another mistake when measuring our home and needed an additional $3,000 before even starting work on our home so I told him to just forget the whole thing and to return my monies. He then became rude stating he doesn't need our money to which I cut the conversation short. I don't think Mr. Pinto is professional at all and probably does't have any insurance at all. Stay far away from this contractor. I gave him a deadline to return our funds but if not I fear we may have to take Mr. Pinto to court. Will update as to status. Not sure how you can work in New Jersey on roofs and not have any workers compensation.

Frank arrived and surveyed the damage. It was windy so he returned once the wind died down to safely replace the missing caps. He was very nice, polite and efficient!

Frank was awesome, he came over to look at my leak the day after a snowstorm, He even ended up shoveling the roof to find the it. Very honest, hard working and a great price too. I’d hire him again in a heartbeat.

Frank is an "A" lister when it comes to roofing. No sales-y pitches, just straight to the work. He quoted fairly, was responsive, and did a great job cleaning up which is rare when you have work done. I would totally hire him again.

Frank responded to my request to give an estimate for a new roof within 24 hours. He was professional and courteous and on time for the appointment. He explained the process and promised to provide a detailed written estimate within a few days. Detailed is the key word. In my experience, so many contractors just throw out a cost without the specifics to justify the price. So far, so good with Frank. I'll keep you posted when I get the estimate.

Even though this was a small job, Frank addressed it with great urgency. He fixed the hole, put in a new fan, and repaired the ceiling and painted the guest room. He was prompt, thorough, and courteous. He also cleaned up all of the construction dirt. After he finished, I found more leaks. He came to quote a new roof (which he gave a fantastic rate for) and patched many spots in the interim. He also put a second coat of paint on the ceiling and didn't charge us for these touch ups! He is fantastic!

I had water getting into my bedroom and found out where it was coming from. Before hiring someone for help, I went ahead and: - cut old sheetrock on (inside) wall - removed the insulation - removed the vinyl siding corner post - removed some of the siding in that area (including the tar paper and foam insulation) - removed gutters from that area Frank was to: - replace the piece of plywood - replace the inside wall insulation - replace the foam insulation and tar paper - reinstall the vinyl siding along with the gutter Frank was to supply all material for this project as I don't have a large vehicle to transport the plywood, etc. Frank ran into an issue about halfway through the project. He purchased a corner post but it was the wrong size (3in instead of 3.5in) and the wrong color. The project had to be put on hold for a few days but eventually continued. Frank came by the next time with the correct sized piece (3.5in) but it was still the wrong color. Because the corner post wasn't the right size, this caused the edge of the siding to be visible (a noticeable 1/2" gap). Frank stated quite a few times that he felt that I cut the vinyl siding and that's why there was a 1/2" gap. This wasn't the case. While I admitted to using a blade to cut a long vertical line down the original corner post to aid in removal, I did NOT cut any of the siding. This would clearly be evident as there would be slice marks etc. After explaining to Frank that the color wasn't correct, he went back once again to a supply store in hopes of finding the correct size/color corner post. I received a call from Frank and he told me that he found the correct size but it was white in color and that it would have to be painted (by me). He then mentioned that someone in the supply store (another contractor) had the EXACT corner post I needed. He was given this corner post for free. He did NOT pass the savings on to me in any way. He did NOT install the corner post properly. I needed to bring someone else in to fix the corner post. This could have easily been handled by him but he chose to leave it as is. He left a bunch of trash and when I asked him about it, he said that the trash pickup wasn't in the contract and that it would be additional money. And while he is technically correct in that there is no trash pickup mentioned anywhere in the contract, I felt taken advantage of. I find it hard to believe that cleaning up after yourself needs to be put in writing in order for it to happen. I personally would NOT use this contractor again. He made it sound like it was somehow MY fault that he was running around from store to store, looking for the correct corner post. Honestly, it's not as if I have some type of rare siding. It's just a basic beige colored vinyl. I felt he rushed at the end because he spent so much time driving from store to store. That isn't my fault that he couldn't find the correct corner post. And there is NO reason why this professional couldn't have installed the corner post properly. It was bowing at the bottom and wasn't vertically flush. The very bottom was sticking out and I had to bring in someone else to fix it. The sheet rock work inside the house looks ok. He left some dabs of spackling compound on a few areas of the wall that I needed to sand off but overall it looks decent.

I worked with him remotely and overall the experience was satisfactory. I didnt have a chance to really shop around to see other pricing in the area, but I felt his pricing was a little high. He communicated very well during the whole process and was very responsive and professional. He sent me photos of what was going on and gave me recommendations on the best way to fix the repairs I needed. He made sure to match the shingles exactly. I've used him a couple times now, and I would recommend others to use him.
