Terrible. Dan showed up and immediately started welding the pipe. Had me crawl into my crawl space myself to shut off water. Never inspected the water source for leak or bad valve. Welded for 10 minutes and the left. Charged $ 160 bucks for 10 mins work. Pipe still leaking hours after he left. He told me I needed to back into crawl space and tighten shut off valve. That did not work and I called him again. He said Valve has to be replaced (after never inspecting it the first time) and he would have to come back in a week or so (soonest available) for another $200. Had 2 other plumbers out who stated that they would have replaced the pipe (not welded it as a quick fix) , inspected the valve in the crawl space and if leaking would have replaced that as well and never would have had me go in twice. Several calls placed to Dan regarding this have been ignored...

I have used Dan twice. He is always very responsive, both calls he was at my home in less then 24 hours. Dan is very knowledgeable and makes a point to give a quick explanation of the problem and how he is going to fix it. He is always vey quick with his repairs

Dan was used by the seller of my house to repair multiple items in the house. One of the items was a shower that ran only ice cold. Upon reinspection of the house, since the hotwater heater was set to "away", we got luke warm water and I assumed this meant it was fixed (my mistake). Unfortunately, after we moved in we found out that it only got luke warm. I called Dan and as a courtesy he came out to the house for no charge. He informed me that he told this to the seller but that the seller said he didn't care, just to leave it. When I asked what would be needed to fix it, he said he wouldn't know until he was able to get back into the wall behind the shower, which would include ripping out the entire shower insert. He estimated that the plumbing cost alone would be a couple thousand dollars, not including any costs associated with reinstallation of the shower and drywall repair (which he couldn't quote me). At a later date, I called a different plumber who quickly removed the shower knob and exposed a slightly leaking, and very broken, mixer valve (took about 60 seconds see this). Cost me about $200 (can't remember exactly) as he was already there repairing something else. Shower has worked great ever since. Overall 1) I have some issues with the fact that i was deceived to think the shower was fixed by the seller. While that's not Dan's fault, the paper work should have been pretty clear that this wasn't fixed (it read that he was 90% sure it was fixed). 2) While giving the benefit of the doubt that he just misdiagnosed the problem when he came back out, he could have taken the 60 seconds to removed the knob to just check the mixing valve. This was the 1st thing the other plumber did, and would seem like the obvious thing to check (but I'm def not a plumber) before quoting me such a large number. It would have been "unfortunate" if he ripped out the entire shower only to discover this was a simple fix. 3) I did appreciate that Dan came out as a courtesy, was on time, and was very nice. He also seemed sympathetic to the problem, and I can understand that the seller put him in a difficult situation. Since he didn't do any work for me, I'm hesitant to give him a bad score. I'll just leave my thoughts and experience.

It was a great experience. Mr. Penney got back to me very quickly in response to my inquiries on a quote for the work. He showed up when he said he would. The job was completed efficiently and at a very fair price.

Dan does superb work. There is no better way to say it.
