Mark was very nice, asking all the questions for a remodel. The one question that was asked last should have been asked first. What is your budget? I am sure they do nice work but they are extremely high priced. Feel like we wasted our time and their time.

First met with bathroom designer who talked with us on several occasions to assure all measurements were accurate and fixtures properly ordered. From day one, project boss controlled all aspects of bath breakdown, coordinating workers, dumpster on street, even port-o-potty. Every day proceeded smoothly without incidents. All bath fixtures were exactly as we ordered including floor and woodwork. Work took approximately 9 days and then final inspection by big boss (Jay Cipriani). Every worker who came in was professional and did their job well. Have absolutely no complaints and would gladly use them again.

Cipriani Remodelers were great. They came up with the idea to use small windows as a backsplash in order to be able to see out and allow light into the kitchen. They look fantastic!! The cabinets are gorgeous, trimmed with beautiful wood moulding. They will spend a lot of time helping you choose items every step of the way. At the start of the project, they put up plastic dust guards and completely enclosed the work area. Their carpenters show up on time every day and are very professional. The kitchen is stunning. I would highly recommend Cipriani for any remodeling job.

Excellent job! A complete kitchen renovation. The whole project started with a visit to our home and explaining their 10-step remodeling process plan. We explained what we wanted to do with our kitchen remodel. Our remodeling consultant took notes and then measured, photographed, sketched and noted all relevant areas necessary to the successful completion of our project. More meetings took place to look at sample rooms, 3D design of our project, selections of martials, colors, textures, etc. After our project plan was complete, work was started. First they established a dirt and dust protection around the work area. Interior demolition included removing existing kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet, and appliances. Then, removing floor covering, carpet, kitchen soffits, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, half wall, and post. A new structural beam was then installed, followed by framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, cabinetry, wood floor, counter tops, back splash tiling, final electrical, final plumbing, appliances, and interior paint. All well planned and shown on a timeline chart.

Could not have been happier (which is why we used Cipriani on our next two projects)! First was a kitchen /den remodel Second was a master bedroom remodel and added a 4th bedroom over our first floor office. Third put a playroom over our garage. Crew was there, cleaned up each day, and finished all projects on time. Cipriani was priced right - not the cheapest, or the most expensive.

The attic remodel looks great. Cipriani made the attic into a guest bedroom/extra usable room. Jim Smith at Cipriani was our Project Manager and he did a great job (great attention to detail). However, I would not use Cipriani again. Our attic had old wood paneling and gross ceilings and floors --- not a space you would want to spend any time in. We wanted to update it into a modern and usable room. We received 4 quotes (all much more expensive then we had expected) and Cipriani was no more/less then the other quotes. We decided to go with Cipriani for a handful of reason, some of which included: (1) they gave us a 2-3 week timeframe for the completion of the project and said that they meet their deadline 90% of the time (2) they were an actual company with a full staff that could be dedicated to our project -- ie not just a 1 contractor company (3) they would coordinate the use of an outside plumber to bring heat up to the attic so that we didnt have to coordinate. They did not come through on any of these counts. The project took over 5 weeks to complete. Once we passed the 3 week deadline, Cipriani kept just saying it would take a few more days instead of re-evaluating the project and giving us a new (tangable) deadline. On most days, we only had 1 guy from Cipriani working on the project. Even as we approached the 3 week deadline, Cipriani didnt dedicate more workers to our project. The deadline came and went without anyone batting an eyelash. (Note: It did take 3 weeks to get the permit for the electrical work. However, it is not like everything else that could have been done without the permit was done. There was still a long list of things not completed that were totally unrelated to the electric work, permit or ceiling). In addition, we didnt have much demo (we laid the wall directly over the wood paneling), we didnt need to wait for appliances to be ordered and shipped and there were no weather delays ---- i.e. there was no outside reasons for the delay except for that Cipriani simply didnt calculate the correct deadline and didnt dedicate enough people to our project. This was a big project for us that cost alot of money for us and we felt like we were "small fries" for Cipriani. Lastly, we needed to bring heat up to the attic and we used Cipriani's plumber instead of finding our own bc then Cipriani would coordinate directly with the plumber and take us out of the process. Not the case. We had some issue with the heat/plumber. Cipriani was certainly helpful, but it was my husband calling the plumber when none of our heat would turn on and it was my husband coordinating with the plumber when he needed to come back into the house, ect. (Note: By the end of the project Jay Cipriani did get involved which def helped the process and quickly resolved the heat issue). Therefore, although Cipriani did a nice job with the project, we would not use them again. I understand that any home project can get off track and can be a headache. However, I beleive that this project could have certainly been completed on time if Cipriani gave us the resources we thought we were signing up for.

They were very professional and did everything that was required. What I liked best is everything is in writing and they are extremely responsive if any issues arise. All of the sub contractors were great. My supervisor Shawn was amazing, it isn't always easy having someone in your house for long periods of time. But this was not an issue. It was a pleasure working with them. We had one small issue with a railing after the job was completed. They came back immediately and took care of everything. I would highly recommend them for any job.

As with any construction job, there were a couple of glitches, but Cipriani listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and worked with us to get the best resolution.

When I called to schedule my appointment for an estimate I actually spoke to the owner, he seemed very professional and polite. However for the estimate I was assigned one of their "specialists", their specialist wanted to speak prior to the meeting to discuss details. While going over what we were looking for I was asked my budget, once hearing this the specialist told me that a master bathroom cannot be done for less than $20,000 and could go upwards to $50,000 and a shower alone would cost $10,000. Then I was asked if I had other estimates that were around my budget and when I said yes this specialist insisted that they must be doing something differently and that their work must not be proper which I found rude. I do not think that just because something is expensive means that it is guaranteed to be good work, all of our estimates came highly recommended.

Cipriani does great work! They are honest, clean, professional, and punctual. They are a bit expensive, but you can always rely on them to do great work.

They are a first class company. They are very friendly, cooperative, and professional. They laid out a time frame, and they honored that to the minute. If there was something that we did not like, they were willing to go the extra mile for us. We have used them also prior to our kitchen remodel, for windows replacement. Since we were very pleased with them, after the kitchen remodel, we had them do our deck rebuild. In the future, Cipriani Remodeling Solutions is our number 1 choice Also, Cindy Cipriani is our planner and designer, and she is the best in her field.

Cipriani Remodeling Solutions was very professional in giving me an estimate. He was also very experienced, but his price was a little high. He's very knowledgeable about what he's doing. If someone asked me about him, I would tell them to at least talk to him and get an estimate.

Picking a contractor to rebuild our dream home is probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. BEFORE I picked Cipriani to do our work we had more than 10 contractors come and give us quotes on our major project. They differed quite significantly in cost to the point that it was confusing. We ended up picking the one who looked the best and gave a decent price, only to be thoroughly let down. We lost around $10,000 to a contractor who wasn't even on time for our initial meetings, and who had architectural plans drawn up at a significant cost that weren't what we wanted, and every time we asked for the changes we wanted it was ignored or not done. I got so frustrated that I made the decision not to continue with that company and started looking in much more detail about what we were doing. That led me to Cipriani Builders and the best choice I think I could have possibly made. They were recommended to me initially by word of mouth from an architect friend. They have been outstanding on a level that I simply did not think was possible with all of the stories I had heard about the construction industry. I learned a lot as I lost that $10,000 mainly to pay attention to the quotes, the professionalism of the people, and most importantly for the final cost the details of what were and were not included. My initial quote from Cipriani builders was significantly more expensive than any of the others I had. This made me nervous but as I went through it and compared them (I am an engineer so like to look at the details) it was obvious that Cipriani's quote included absolutely EVERYTHING and the price they showed me would be the price I paid for the job I wanted (barring any scary unforeseen surprises.) When I looked at the quotes from other companies they were missing the details or materials and I would be expected to pay for those items separately. Also when I looked at the allowances in some of the other quotes they weren't realistic to the prices for materials I had already been looking for like hard wood flooring and tiling. So I chose Cipriani. They gave me a very good (fast) time line for the project and I was worried it could be done on the schedule. It turned out that they were on schedule or ahead of it for the whole project. The only delay was our making due to a special tile we ordered for our kitchen floor that was late being delivered. Cipriani even worked hard and managed to catch up most of the delay! An extremely valuable added benefit of working with Cipriani was Cindy Cipriani who really helped us with the interior design of our house. Her help in the vision, and materials selection has left us with our dream house that drops people's jaws when they walk in and get a tour. It was a huge value that was included in the overall cost of the project. The crew of people that worked on our property were always thoughtful and gracious. It actually got to the point that when they finished and left we were sad to see them go and actually missed them after they had left! In the 2+ years since the work was done we have had two small issues. One where a light fixture had condensation coming from it. Cipriani was there within days and fixed it with the addition of special insulation and it hasn't been an issue since. We also had a door that needed adjusting slightly and they were there the same day to fix it. The quality of their work has been outstanding and their response to help fix even the smallest of issues has been impressive. They stand by their work. Quite simply I wouldn't go anywhere else for a contractor. We have already had them back to do more work for us with a roof on our barn, and if we do any more work they will be the ONLY company we call to come and do it. An outstanding company and excellent value for the money we paid. I can't recommend them enough and do recommend them personally to all of our friends. If you are nervous about picking the right contractor and spending a large sum of money picking Cipriani is the right decision.

Perfectly. We had already had Cipriani builders renovate our home at a cost of $350,000 and were so happy with them that they were the only company we called to take a look at our next project. I needed a new roof, windows, dormers and ancillaries on my pole barn/workshop. They worked with me to fit the project within my budget but still give me everything I wanted. The team that worked on the project were tidy and considerate. The project went perfectly to plan with no issues what so ever. The quality of the work was great, and the barn looks stunning. The work they did was in keeping with a classic red pole barn. I am very happy with how it turned out. Whatever my next project is, I already know that Cipriani builders will be the contractors doing it for me.

They are on time and finished the job on schedule. They are extremely polite and careful when doing work in your home. They do excellent work. I've used them before to add a powder room and office to our older home. This had to match the house architecturally and it did.

The best part of working with Jay and his team is the peace of mind that things will be taken care of and in the end you will have what you've asked for. Our project began after we suffered major water damage to our new home that began in an upstairs bathroom and ran down into our dining room. From the start, Jay provided us with a detailed project plan that walked us through how and when the work would be accomplished and we were consistently updated throughout the project. As with anything, things will go wrong and you will encounter unforeseen obstacles but knowing Jay would always makes things right took away much of the stress involved with a project like this. I know other reviews reference that his prices may not be the cheapest but when it comes to things like home remodeling, you pay for what you get. Jay's #1 concern is his reputation and he will do everything in his power to make sure the customer is satisfied, down to the smallest details (& trust me, I am the kind of person who will point out even the smallest issues). His team was always friendly and showed up on time. I think one of the best examples of the kind of company this is would be when we experienced more water issues during the project. While the issues had nothing to do with the work Jay was hired to do for us, he showed up at our house on his own time with a plumber and helped us to resolve the issue. He's that kind of guy. In an industry where you hear horror stories of people running off with the customer's money never to return, knowing that you are working with someone you can trust and rely on is worth every penny.

I did not end up using Cipriani, as their price was double our highest estimate. This is why it is so important to get multiple estimates when having a job done. I can only assume they didn't want to do the work and intentionally priced themselves out of the job (a practice some contractors use, and I did not receive a follow up phone call after the final quote). After the initial in home estimate, I found it quite inconvenient to have to come down to their showroom in Woodbury to receive the quote for my job. The estimate they gave me was just a final price, with no breakdown of costs, along with boilerplate documentation that they give for each job. As they do seem like a legitimate business, I could have easily been giving a price over the phone, or in the mail. I would have them quote future jobs for me, and if the price is reasonable, would probably use them, as they do have a great reputation.
