Roof inspection due to water leakage

He was transparent with timelines of necessity (which is a breath of fresh air in today’s economy) and offered options to meet my needs both as a homeowner and financially. The company was very professional. Excellent response time to our request for bid (same day requested). Examined the property, provided a comprehensive Zoom call to walk through all of the processes they would be using and services they provide. Negotiated a very fair price and scheduled the work quickly. Timely follow ups from their team. On schedule without exception. The roof was completed in one day. Excellent job. Their responsiveness and customer service were outstanding and provided us with a strong level of comfort on their organization and level of expertise. I would strongly recommend them if you are looking for roof or siding.

Most reviews are for the actual work. This review is for the office that manages the schedule. I called today for a roof repair need and was greeted by a very friendly woman (sorry - I forgot her name)! She mentioned that with the very heavy storms coming through recently, she could have someone come look this week, but it may take up to two weeks to fix given the surge in requests. I was so pleased to get a realistic assessment of timing, even if it risked my signing with them. THANK YOU for this honest assessment and not promising an early date just to lock in the business and then delaying! My takeaway... this is an honest and fair business.

I am very pleased with the job. The first person I talked to was the owner Shawn, and he explained all aspects of the job. Larry's crew (Larry was the project manager) was on time, efficient, and did a great job cleaning up, and also in protecting my flower beds. Wendy the office manager was very professional. I will be hiring this company again next year without hesitation to do the back slope of my roof. I would both hire them again and strongly recommend!

Terrible. Initially scheduled a date for them to come out for repair. It rained and they didn't show which was fine. I contacted them the following day to see if we could reschedule. A few days go by, no call back. Called back a 2nd time a few days after that left a detailed message, a few days go by and still no call back. For the next 2 weeks I called and left voice messages and no one returns my calls. Now the part of my roof that needed repaired has completely fell off due to the high winds over the last few days. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Let me start by saying this is the 2nd time I have used Ameritech. The 1st experience was good as we needed some roof and siding repairs. We reach out again due to damage on our soffit due to a recent storm and this experience was a complete 180 degree difference. This is a tenant occupied property and we are over 1000 miles away in another state. Reached out to Ameritech and provided photos of the damage. Was told someone would come out the next day to review the damage and provide a quote. Told tenant who rearranged their schedule and made sure the car was clear of the driveway. No one ever came out. Was told the price of $275+ tax based on the photo. When questioned about the high price, was told that $275 is the minimum for someone to go out. I took them at their word and authorized the work. According to my tenant they were onsite for only 10 - 20 mins for the work. "Longest time was spent getting the ladder up and down" Looking at their page on Angies List, they offer a special for $150. So I asked about the lower price and how that did not match up with what I was told that the minimum of $275+ tax. Response was no such offered existed. Provided screenshot of the offer and was told that is for a roof. My point was $275 is not the minimum. Felt like a lie. Will never use again. Feel like they put $$ in front of the customer experience. If they said they inspected the roof or something, would have made the expense match the cost. $290 for approximately 20 mins of work. Who charges tax on labor only? Ameritech does. That works out to almost $900 an hour. Never again.

Ameritech did a terrific job, from an in-depth presentation of the original estimate to replacing a very large roof in a single day. They were more expensive then the competition, but the quality of the work was worth it

Ameritech was excellent. Of the 3 estimates I received, theirs was the most detailed. The other two companies- i had to keep calling with questions. Shawn, the owner, was very professional and worked with me on pricing and scope of work, so that it was a good deal for everyone. Larry, on site, was just as professional, on time, great communication. The roof looks great, very happy with their work. They were careful with clean up and promptly came and fixed a small issue- no questions.

I had received 5 other estimates before meeting with Shaun, the owner of Ameritech Services to have 2 layers of roof removed and a new one installed. He was very pleasant and discusses every detail of the process during the free estimate. This made the consult longer than most but was ultimately why I chose his company, since I knew they would not skimp corners on getting the job done. The roof I chose came with a 5 year labor warranty and a 30 year warranty on product. The project came with up to 10 sheets of decking if it needed to be replaced, and I needed 9! Several of the other companies, you have to pay for each sheet of plywood needed or includes just a few so that worked out great for me. From the time I signed the contract, I had excellent customer service; having 3 point contacts (owner, project leader and office manager). Larry and his team arrived promptly as scheduled and worked efficiently in getting my roof removed, replaced and cleaned up in 3 hours! Granted, I have a small 3 bedroom rancher with a simple roof, but still impressive. That afternoon I received a follow up call from Shaun, the owner to check in which was a nice touch. A week later, I received a thank you gift and a $500 gift card for family & friends or for a future project. Their estimate was the second lowest that I had received. I used a $1000 Angies List coupon and then was given an additional $500 off at time of estimate. I would definitely recommend to others.

Shawn and Wendy are great to work with. I felt they were honest about the work that needed to be done and it appears to have been done well. Financing is available with this company and that was a big deal for us. The roof was done in less than a day and the crew left the site cleaner than when they arrived. A high standard of professionalism was maintained throughout. This company will be my first call for any further home improvement needs.

It was awesome! They came out in a few hours and fixed the problem within the hour. The diagnostic was $64 plus labor. They were very nice and gave suggestions as well.

It was great. He was terrific, his staff were terrific. He follow to make sure thing were ok. He just great.

Owner is very nice and the secretary is very helpful and communication is great. Quality of work is very good. They sent me a nice thank you basket after the work was complete. Would def recommend again!

Communication and customer service was excellent. Job was well done and completed in one day. Only negative was that I had to request my front fence and gate be cleaned after the job was finished, and also to request that my planters be placed back in their original positions on the front porch. I consider these minor issues. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience and the work performed.
