I went to Avalon in Deptford to look at tile options for a bathroom renovation we were planning. Our hall bathroom was original to our house which was built in 1993. All the fixtures and finishes were builder grade and dated, as well as showing a lot of wear. Our Avalon rep was Anna Marks. She is the reason that I am giving Avalon a great review. Her biggest strength was her responsiveness to any request I had. I worked with her mostly via email, since that was my preference. I started by sending her pictures of our existing bathroom and its dimensions and giving her my preferences in regard to color family. She came up with some ideas to show my husband and me. After we decided, she wrote up the spec sheet and gave us prices. She was very patient as I dithered over which contractor I would choose, and then after I went back and forth over whether we would get our own vanity or order it through Avalon. It turned out to be just as cheap to get it through Avalon. After I chose a contractor, she worked with him to get the tile ordered. He installed everything and it all came together beautifully. I had one issue after installation, and that was with the vanity. One of the drawers didn't close correctly. I emailed Anna and she diligently kept after the manufacturer's rep until he came out to our house and fixed the drawer for us. It was a great experience.
