Description of Work: Speer did a good job on the original install of new A/C in 2012. I've used them for maintenance and minor repairs since. Always satisfied.

Description of Work: The inspected & tested my HVAC unit(s). Performed PM, Cleaned filters etc.

Description of Work: The technician arrive on time. He listened to my concerns and checked out the furnace as well as doing standard maintenance. He took time to explain what he did and what might need to be done later. It had been having trouble starting, but the furnace has worked fine since then.

Description of Work: Required service for an old air conditioning unit. Prompt courteous service. He said he was 95% sure it was fixed. It was not. Second time I turned it on it leaked again. We will need to look into a new central air unit in the spring.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Deal to have my furnace tuned up for the winter. The technician came on time and was very polite. The tune up did not take long but he did take extra time to help me regarding replacement of a pre-filter for my electronic air cleaner. He put in a regular filter in to take care of the job until my parts came in.(It is not a part that can be found a hardware store). He gave me information and was kind and thoughtful. I would use Speer again just because of Alfonso. I recently received and installed the filter I needed and am so grateful for the time Alfonso took to assist me.

Description of Work: The man who tuned up our furnace was efficient. He cleaned out the glass tube that alerts you to how much water is in the machine, so now we can read it accurately. (And he told us why we should never attempt to do that ourselves.) He wasn't very personable, but he did the job well.

Description of Work: The $68.00 special is definitely not at the top of Speer's priority list. I guess, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: They did not come. They called and told me they would not be servicing my furnace as it was an oil furnace and they only service gas furnaces. Wheb I told the gentleman that it did not states that on the advertisement, he said it did...in the "small print" down on the list at number nine. Also, when I called to make the appointment, I was asked what type of furnace I had I told them and and was not told this "deal" did not include oil burning furnaces

Description of Work: They installed a two zone panel and set up duct work for our new A/C unit. They were neat, clean and efficient, and gave us our most efficient options for our project based on their estimate.
