Tony is very responsive and knowledgeable. I called the day before and the next morning they were able to come and replace my water heater and the substandard pipes around the water heater. Good quality work. You probably can find another place with cheaper price but I'm not sure if they offer the same level of service..

Tony is very professional and is an expert in tank removal and replacement. He responded quickly to our emergency situation. He explained the process, did an excellent job of replacing the water tank, took away our old tank and told us ways to prevent future problems from occurring. We recommend Dr.Water Heater highly and plan to use Tony for our plumbing needs.

Since I called this company the Secretary answered, was friendly, took my info, and said the owner would call back. He called back within 5 minutes, asked some questions, gave some info, and requested I take some pictures of the existing unit, etc. Did that, sent to his phone. He called back 5 to 10 minutes later with an estimate, which he explained in detail, including some caveats (even though my set up looked to be to code, would have to see for sure on site). Said they could do the install within 48 hours, perhaps sooner but not likely - but he would call on Sunday to let me know. He called Sunday morning to say they were not going to be near me but would come if it was an emergency, otherwise, I would be Monday morning. Despite the leaking, which was running OK into my sump pit, I still had some hot water, so said Monday 9 am (Presidents Day) was OK. Ice storm delayed them, arrived at 9:45 after a text advising me they were en route. The crew of 2, nice enough. They laid drop cloths on the carpet/wore booties without having to be asked. They replaced the unit over the next 90 or so minutes, including draining and removing the old unit. Left the work area clean - would not have known they were there. New unit working fine so far. Since there were no complications, the cost was exactly as quoted ($1,445 for Bradford and White 50 gallon unit with side pressure tank, delivery, install, removal of old unit). At first, seemed like a cost on the higher side, but the cost of buying a unit, delivery, and hiring a plumber direct or thru a store, could easily add up to that - then potentially have to chase people, etc. Been there, done that. Had my problem fully dealt with in less than 48 hours by basically making one phone call? If I did pay the more small price for the resulting convenience. The only reason for lack of and on the value is I want to make sure the unit works for a period of time. My experience validates the other reviews I had read on this company. Would not hesitate to recommend this firm.

Tony, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! He is responsive, extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything in detail. The process was flawless - I will definitely be using them again for future projects!

Tony sounded very knowledgable and professional. He assessed the situation, offered a solution, and was done installing the water heater in one hour. Even though it was expensive, Tony worked with me to lower the cost somewhat. Overall, great experience, highly recommend.

This was a flawless experience. Someone met me at my house to draw up the estimate around a holiday and the work was executed and completed in a single day as planned. The work crew was very professional and did everything I asked them to.

Tony contacted me right away and was now to provide me an estimate over the phone and came to my house the next day to provide the steps with replacing my hot water heater. No one could know more about this then Tony! The installation took no time and we had hot water in only a few hours. The price was fair and I really felt comfortable with Tony. My installation was done by an expert who was very experienced and very nice and professional. Overall outstanding service.

started smelling burning plastic in my basement coming from my leaking hot water heater, searched home advisor at 8 pm, Tony called by 8:20 pm and told me to immediately shut the breaker to the unit to avoid any possibility of fire and to shut the feed valve. He was here at 2 pm the next day, replace the unit by 4 pm and we had hot water by 4:30 pm. He was extremely knowledgeable about my unit and explained more than i thought there was to know about hot water heaters and how to maintain my new one. His workers were friendly, polite, and had no issue with me hovering over them while they worked asking questions. They cleaned up the work area when they were done and left no garbage behind. I will definitely add them to my list of preferred contractors and recommend this company to friends and family.
