No repairs were required, but Chuck gave a good appraisal of longer term potential risks to the pipe, and how they could be proactively addressed. He also was punctual and able to come out on short notice. Would not hesitate to use again in the future.

Answered my call; came the next morning (as he said he would); nice guy, fixed the problem and reset my toilet for me. Asked him to check out a slow draining sink upstairs which he did; identified the issue immediately and fixed it (at no additional cost). Super nice guy; will definitely be calling him in the future for all my drain clearing needs!

I called in Chuck based on Angie's List reviews. He picked up on the first ring and was very responsive. We scheduled an appointment within the hour and he was there on time. From there, it was smooth sailing. No issues at all. Chuck is quite professional and I would use him again for sure.

It went very well. * I called Chuck on Monday, he was able to come and check out the problem within a couple of hours. * After trying to snake out the drain, Chuck described the problem as a probable broken drain pipe * He made some calls and confirmed that they would be able to do the repair on the very next morning * Chuck kept me informed about their arrival. Tuesday morning it was raining hard, but he said that if it cleared up they would be coming. As soon as the rain slowed down, he called to let me know they were on their way. * When they arrived for the work, Chuck detailed what they were going to do. * As the work progressed he described what they found: an old style drain pipe that could not withstand tree roots. * They replaced the old pipes and added a clean-out access pipe, and did a good job filling in the hole and leveling the yard. I am very pleased with the work Chuck and his crew did and would hire them again.

Our sewer lines were 60 year old cast iron pipes that were disintegrating. We had received a estimate from another company, and wanted to get a second estimate. We saw the reviews on here for Drain King, and called to get an estimate. Chuck gave me a ballpark figure over the phone, and then we scheduled an appointment for a full estimate. His estimate was 1/3 the cost of the estimate we had received. He even helped us work with his excavator to have a tree removed (at a really good price too). He was always there when he said he'd be there, and the job was done quickly, and he kept us updated every step of the way. I would definitely use him again, and will refer him to all the neighbors.

The check valve was done on day 1 and the sewer line replacement was done on day 2. Drain King arrived on time each day and finished each piece of the project each day. The amount of excavation that was needed was extensive. Drain King had explained to me that the job might take all day or it might go quick. This job took all day and they did not try to change the price or cut corners. They were very thorough which I very much appreciated. This is a messy job, Drain King cleaned up nicely. My neighborhood has Orangeburg sewer pipe and will need to eventually be replaced. I've already had my neighbors ask me about the job and I told them I was very happy.

All plumbers seem to be a little on the expensive side, but he's reliable and very personable. Service is often done the same day you call, which I appreciate. The quality of the work is excellent.

Discovered that all of the underground drainage pipes in front of our house were collapsed and water was draining into the ground and causing some water issues in the basement. As it was December, we wanted to get the job done as soon as possible before the ground froze and we had to deal with more rain or show. Drain King came out right away to give an estimate and scheduled the job the next day. They analyzed the situation and came up with a new shorter route to the storm sewer. This still involved about 60 feet of hand digging, jack hammering out some bricks and a cement footing in front of our front porch so the pipe could pass under, and replacement of cheap original pipe with schedule 40 pvc. I was nervous about replacing the masonry quickly so we wouldn't have a gaping hole in front of our door, but they were extremely helpful and searched around to find matching brick and quick drying cement so the job could be finished in one day. They did a very professional and quick job, and went the extra mile to deal with our specific needs. I recommend this company without reservation if you need any kind of underground pipe installation.

The company that was originally recommended to me never returned my call. Another company that I had used in the past was also not helpful. I had seen the Drain King trucks in the area for years, and knew they were a local company, so I thought I'd give them a try. Chuck returned my call promptly and was very helpful on the phone. He was able to come to do the work very quickly, and the job was completed right on schedule, very professionally, and very cleanly. The price seemed to be in line with what i would have expected. I would certainly recommend them.
