Northeast Fencing

I am very happy with the results of the job. Luis was very professional and easy to work with. The installation team arrived on time and was able to finish the job in 1 day. They also removed and disposed of a partial wood fence that was rotted and chain link fence. Shawn, the foreman, went over the job and made sure everything was to my liking. I would definitely hire again.

We had our fence installed by Northeast back in 2015. The job cost $9000. They did an excellent job and we gave them an excellent review here on Angie’s List. However, a few days after the work was completed we requested some extra 6” x6’ slats to put behind a tree (not part of the original work scheduled). Of course we were willing to pay for the additional pieces. Luis told me he couldn’t get so few pieces unless they had an order for another job with the same color and he would let me know when it was available. I never heard back from him. Flash-forward to July 2019. A lightning strike knocked down a very large tree branch in our yard which broke the top rail of one of the 8’ panels and one of the 6” x 6’ slats. I called Luis and asked about the repair and sent him photos via text. He said he would ask his boss for a price and get back to me. He did not. After 2 days I texted him again. He quoted me a ridiculous price of $650 for the repair. I didn’t say yes or no, but I asked him to call me. He never did. Obviously, he didn’t want to be bothered. We pulled out our original paperwork to see that the fence materials were purchased from National Fence (a local company). My husband went over there and was able to purchase the top rail and 2 6” slats for $50. Thanks for nothing Northeast. You may do good work but once you’re paid, you want nothing to do with your customers.

No response to finalize work and have gate replaced.

Luis, Hector, and entire team were friendly and prompt with the their appointments and accommodating with the installation date. Their price was fair (in the middle) of other estimates I got and the work was excellent. The work was done (about 75 feet of vinyl privacy fence) in half a day. There were several factors I was concerned about the installation as the area contained a very old fence and some overgrown uneven land, but the crew handled it easily and professionally removing all the debris the same day. I was very pleased with the result and would recommend this company to others.

Promised date was missed slightly due to poor weather, but vendor scheduled new date and adhered to it. His workers showed up early and worked continuously . They were very professional and concerned that i was completely satisfied.

Luis, Hector, and their team were fantastic from the time of the estimate through the installation. Their price was far below any other estimates I got, and the work they did was fantastic. Not only did the fence come out looking great, but their team removed my old fence and installed the new one (more than 200 feet of fence) in just one day. Their foreman checked in with me during the installation to make sure the fence came out exactly how we wanted it. I would definitely hire them again and have already recommended them to friends.

The BEST. Lemme tell ya - if you’re looking for a fence, you need not look any further. Northeast Fence is the company you want to go with - I promise. From start to finish, these guys were great. I got several quotes for a “normal size” job for a backyard fence in the burbs of NJ. My experience with Northeast Fence was, by far, the best. Luis was professional and, more importantly, I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. He even answered every one of my 5000 questions thoroughly. They worked with my crazy schedule for the installation which was clean and went flawlessly. I could not be happier with the job they did.

This is the second time (10/14) I've used Northeast fencing and in the three and half years the fences remained looking like new. I contacted Northeast Fencing as well as two other companies for estimates on a backyard perimeter vinyl fence. All three estimates were in the same ballpark, but Northeast came in a little bit lower. On top of that, Luis and his team are great people -- professional, responsive, and the work quality was superb. Provided great advice and direction on the project, kept me apprised every step of the way, and execution was flawless. I've dealt with a lot of contractors, but these guys are some of the best I've dealt with. Highly recommend.

Even in 12 degree snowy weather these guys were on time and did an excellent job with the fence installation.

Hector, Luis and their team did an amazing job with our fence installation. This past spring we put in a in-ground pool and needed a new fence. Of all the contractors that I dealt with during this project, Luis and Hector were far and away the best. They always answer your calls and respond to texts instantly. They were very accommodating with our ever changing schedule. The quality of the work was outstanding and they beat our lowest offer by $200. I rarely go with the lowest bid, however I just had a good feeling about them and it turned out to be right. I highly recommend Northeast Fencing!

GREAT! Highly recommend! After MUCH research and price quotes, I'm so happy we went with Northeast Fencing. Excellent customer service - from the first phone call to the final one ensuring we were fully pleased with all the work. Luis was great to work with - fair in pricing discussions, patient and prompt in responding to questions, and was very accessible on the day work was completed. The installation was also surprisingly painless.. the team showed up on time, work was done quickly (1 day!) but also done well. When we requested some minor changes - though it required extra time/effort - it was addressed immediately and without issue or haggling/complaints. To top if off, this was the best quote!

Everyone that I dealt with, from the owner to the young men working on the fencing, was pleasant, responsive, professional and punctual. They heard my requests and honored them willingly. I requested a specific fencing brand which they acquired with no hassle. Other companies that I had gotten estimates from either couldn't get that brand or seemed to struggle with the request. Very pleased with new split-rail fence, looks great! Top-notch workmanship; very personable and professional staff. Pricing was reasonable too.

Price was very fair and reasonable. Team I dealt with was professional. That said, my job was a small job and was pushed out several weeks and squeezed in on a Sunday morning on a Holiday at 7 AM.

Luis was very prompt about answering any questions that I had, either by text or email, and despite having to wait for the replacement fence order to come in (and a major snowstorm!) his crew got the job done in a timely fashion and also addressed some other minor repairs that I requested. The estimate was more than I had originally expected to spend, but Luis's attention to the job and keeping me apprised of the status made up for the cost differential.
