J&J did an EXCELLENT job on my rail removal and tread replacement. The guys arrived on time were courteous and efficient. I am so happy with the finished product. Thank you J&J, job well done.

In the end it turned out OK. The process up to the finish line however was not as smooth or professional as I hoped. They came in, gave me an estimate and set a date for installation. The next day, we agreed on a price, date of install, and gave 50% deposit to order materials. The week before the install, I had to reach out to Jose 3 days straight to get an answer if the materials came in and if they'll install on the date we set. Jose made it seem like he's doing me a favor by keeping the date, because he screwed up and didn't schedule his crew for my project, and needed to find an alternative. The worst part was that his crew came unprepared to fix the floor where the new newels would be installed, so while they were working on my house I had to go source flooring to patch up where they were leaving holes in the floor. Part of the agreement is that they care of repairing the floor where new newels would be installed/replaced. Jose's answer to my displeasure of how the process is going was "I'm not in the flooring business". Overall, not a horrible experience, but don't expect them to do anything more than the bear minimum. I'm still fixing my walls where they left them with holes; and need to repaint because they also dirtied my fresh pain job.

Jose and team did a great job. Jose understood what was needed and had the right set of his team onsite as required. the project too a day longer but we are pleased with the results. I would recommend him and use again when opportunity arises.

Reasonably good. Mis-measured several steps and had to remake them, installed a step improperly and had to reject it. Carpenter was not surprised he had to replace step and that irritated me that he tried to pull that stunt. Job took a little bit longer than I expected and I spent a lot of time overseeing things. Staircase and molding work was not as top notched as I expected (had to discuss with worker and owner a few times to get things done properly), flooring went fine. All issues were fixed to my satisfaction.

I don't believe that they were the lowest quote that I received but they did excellent work and excellent clean up. They seem very knowledgeable about the job and they were extremely reasonable in price.
