WITTMAIER PLUMBING & HEATING

I have used Wittmaier plumbing several times, the most recent was Monday this week. I keep coming back because they are friendly, professional, responsive, trustworthy, and reasonably priced to boot. I bought a home that had good bones, but wanted to make some changes. I've used Wittmaier every step of the way! Three years ago, they helped install a gas line for an outdoor grill. Then, it was work on renovating my main bath. Next, installing a new kitchen sink faucet including upgrading to include a garbage disposal. Every time, they have been able to schedule me within a few days to a week. They show up on time, and do great work! Most recently they helped me make some minor changes needed after a home inspection for the sale of my home. Quick turn around, and wearing a mask to keep us both safe during these crazy COVID times. This will always be my first call when I need a plumber.

They were great, professional and knowledgeable. They made sure to explain exactly what they working on and doing, which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely hire again!

Excellent. Turned out there was no problem but Joe installed a new collar to secure the pipe.

Came on time and did the job carefully and correctly. The plumber even covered the furniture to avoid getting dust from the wall all over everything.

it was important to be able to get an estimate the same day we called for it, as we had a non-functioning toilet in the middle of a DYI bath renovation. The work was beyond my knowledge and capabilities. Drew was professional, punctual and personable, and explained in detail what was involved in the repair, how it was going to be done and the time it would take to do it. Because they charge by the hour instead of by the job, the estimate felt more accurate, and was lower than the other two estimates we received. Drew offered the Angie's List discount without being asked. The estimate was e-mailed the same day. As soon as we responded, they worked to schedule service quickly. The job did take about a half hour longer than expected, but the plumber (Joe) was easily able to justify the additional time required. All in all, very satisfied with the overall experience, and will likely use Wittmaier in the future.

They did a great job locating the source of the problem and fixing it in less time than expected. I found them to be thorough and honest.

everything went well...they charge by the hour...he gave recommendations to move the valve, and I accepted. I did not like that John (sorry if I got the name wrong) stated the company also charges for travel time (which started from the time he called me to the time he got home ~20 min). I did not think that was fair, and I expressed my opinion to him. For example, if the job is 50 min and the drive is 20 min you are charged for 1 hr over...or 1 1/2 when rounded. Otjer than that, the work was good, and he was professional about everything.

Listing on Angie's List shows "Open today until 11:30 PM" - I called on Saturday morning and answering service advised Monday-Friday only.

These guys are a great group of plumbers. I have had several different plumbers from this group & they were all good.

When water started backing up into the basement, we were told by 2 different plumbers (not Wittmaier) who came out that our sewer line needed to be replaced. Before spending thousands of dollars, we called Wittmaier for another opinion. THANK GOD we called them! Andrew was right on time, honest and so helpful. They are so knowledgeable about older homes in this area. He sent Wayne out to snake the line and turns out we don't need a new sewer line at all.

Very well. The visit at the time of estimate was thorough. The tech checked the BTU load on the gas line to ensure that the gas outlet would be installed at the right point. Estimates were appropriate and on the money. Work was performed as promised. Happy with these folks.

I called to schedule service and asked for an estimate. Was told they would check with the plumber and call me back. I called the next day and was told the same thing. No one ever returned the calls. I guess it was too minor of a job.

I purchased the $149 deal to replace the outdoor faucet. Everything went very well and I would recommend them.

We called Wittmaier in a panic because the handyman with whom we had scheduled an appointment never appeared. We called at 2:30, and by 4:00 the plumber was at our home. He was extremely nice and professional. He explained exactly what he had to do, different options with regard to whether we should have further repairs or get a new toilet, and overall was extremely professional and experienced. He fixed the leak and while we are discussing whether to get repairs or a new toilet, either way we will definitely use them for whatever work we need. Extremely pleased!

Overall I was very satisfied with the company and the service. The plumber who came to my house was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing and how to prevent the clog in the future. It did take a few days for the appointment to be setup. It was a little longer then I would have liked but they kept good communication and came on time when they said they would.

Although we had some communication issues, I was happy to have it resolved. The solution to our problem was discussed and best option presented. The job was done promptly and in a professional manner.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Wittmaier and I've always been pleased with their work. I would recommend

I have been having water issues in my basement. I wasn't sure exactly what the problem happened to be but I just knew that water kept backing into my basement when I used the washer. I called this provider and I have to tell you. The young lady that answered the phone was friendly, professional and concerned about my problem. She walked me through what was happening and I was not even sure. An appointment was scheduled for the very next morning. Oh, and she also was helpful in accommodating my work schedule. The next day the technician/plumber Andrew came out and was friendly and helpful. He looked at the problem and where the water was coming from. He was patient and answered all my questions. He suspected the outside sewer line was blocked. Since I have the sewer line protection insurance through New Jersey water, he suggested I try that first. I am a big believer of being courteous, prompt and being honest. I felt this is exactly what I got. I hope to have an opportunity to use this provider as I feel confident they will do a great job!! thank you.

Received a quote for a water heater replacement job. Agreed and set a date for the installation. When the technician arrived he said it was the wrong type of water heater and could not be installed. So I called the township inspector to find out what is the proper type of water heater for this townhouse. The technician said the sales team will need a couple of days to price together the new water heater replacement price. A few days later I called to ask for an update. The sales person was not available because he went home for the day. The secretary was able to find some information on his desk and told me the price of the new water heater. I thanked the secretary and ask her to have the sales person that put together the quote call me when he gets back in the office. I have some questions that the secretary was not able to answer. I waited many days and never received a phone call back. Now they sent me a bill because they brought the wrong type of water heater to my townhouse can could not install it.

They responded promptly, gave me a reasonable estimate and did the job professionally

Plumber was good, but kept arguing with the ceramic tile guy - each saying the other didn't know what they were doing. Uncomfortable since they were both sub-contraced by same company to do the work.

They were able to get the pipe fixed. Everything went fine. The technician showed up on time and did what needed to be done. I was getting ready to rip out all of plumbing and redo the plumbing, but that was not needed. The technician was very professional and got everything done in a timely manner.

Everything worked out fine with Wittmaier. They are an excellent outfit to work with. They are my go to guys for any plumbing work. They always send the same technician out each time, which shows consistency. They are very good with their response time. Overall, I have been very satisfied with their service and they are as close to perfect as you can get.
