A few weeks later I called and asked if he had a quote for me yet, his receptionist said that this week he would contact me, he was still getting prices for some of the trees. I liked him and the design he came up with so much that I didn't mind waiting a little bit longer, but now it is almost April, and he just lost a customer. I also used him for leaf clean up last fall, but I will be going with another company this fall.

We had Warner remove dirt and rocks along our garage. We have used Warner in the past for other services and we will continue to use them as they are a pleasure to work with and always do a great job. They get the job done and when they say they are coming they show up on time.

Our lawn was in bad shape. We had spotty grass and lots of weeds, other lawn care providers couldn't get results. Andrew did an evaluation for us and came up with a game plan. We were skeptical at first, but the results were incredible. Our lawn has never looked better. We have signed up for his 7 step organic lawn care program this year, other providers use lots of chemicals, but with 2 young children we are happy to pay a little more for an organic solution.

Every thing went smoothly, they work hard for 3 hours. Rip out 2 large bush's, dug up Firethorn stump, and Iris's Enlarge flower bed, put down mulch root. Took away all debris and clean up when done.

They're very neat. They take away the garbage, they're very polite, I thought their prices was good.

We had to provide half of the project cost up front and were placed on their schedule. It took two or three weeks for our work date to come around and it was blazing hot the week the crew came out to do the work (feels like 105). They were scheduled for Wednesday but called early in the week and asked if they could move us to Friday. We had no problem with moving the project few days. The company, the best we can tell, is run but two brothers. The one brother came out for the initial review of our property, examined the shrubs, plants, etc. and seemed well informed with all the plants, soil, and their needs. On the day of the work the other brother arrived with the crew and we walked the property and reviewed the work order and clarified a few small points (how much to trim the plants, removal of the old mulch, size of the mulch beds, etc.) Once we finished the walkthrough the crew got to work and in about 4-hours they had cut/repaired eight (8) mulch beds, removed old mulch, weeded, and replaced with new mulch, and also mulched two other areas that didn't require cutting. When they left their work looked clean, well tailored, and neat. There was no debris left and they took all the old mulch and trimmings with them. Warner was a little pricier than two other bids I received, but I felt that they carried a better mulch product and would perform to my expectations, which they did. My next task will be to clear the crabgrass from the property and either hydro seed or sod and I will most likely use them for that also. I would recommend their services.

I have used Warner for over two years, and originally was very happy with them. The owner, Andrew, is a nice guy. He is dedicated to using organic products, which was appealing. He is very knowledgeable and always willing to explain in detail what he is doing or wants to do along the way. He is a local small business and I like that as well. The worst part of the experience has been the customer service. The problem seems to be that the owner cannot deal effectively with people when things go wrong. His crew missed an appointment (not calling until they were over an hour late, then not showing up until 45 minutes after that), I called him (he had given his cell as well as office number previously in case there was ever any problem) and left a message. I also sent him an email, explaining the problem, that I had taken time off to meet the crew, and that I was frustrated that they did not call the night before, which was entirely possible given the reasons they gave for their delay. I simply asked for a call back, figuring that he would call and apologize for the incident. It was all that I was looking for. He did not return the call or the email. I called again. No reply. I called and left a message at the office, saying that I had received the invoice for services delivered, and would be happy to write a check and bring it over as soon as I got a return call from Andrew. Again, no call. In an effort to save the situation, my partner called and emailed a week later. He raved about the services the company provided, explained that he wanted to stay with the organic plan, and offered to mediate the difficulties with me in an effort to keep the service. He asked that Andrew give him a call. Again, no call. After one more week of waiting, we decided to go with another company. I find it really hard to believe that someone was so willing to throw away regular customers. Overall, a nice guy who does good work. COMPLETELY unresponsive when faced with a frustrated customer.

Warner seems to be a great locally owned small business, which appealed to me. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The work that was done was great. They cleaned up the full yard and took care of the hedge and everything looked much better afterward. I had scheduled the work for a Wednesday afternoon and took off work to be home for this. They called late in the day at about 3 PM and had to reschedule to the following morning (because rain earlier in the week had backed up their schedule). I do wish they had called in the morning so I would not have left work to meet them.

I have used them for over 1 yr. now for this service. The rate seems reasonable. They always come out and get the mowing done on schedule and the yard looks great afterward. The walks and driveway etc. are well edged and cleaned of any clippings. too soon tell what the results will be on the lawn rehab overall, but the crab grass prevention they used was applied in April and has stopped the crab grass form starting up again... that's good progress.

I emailed this company on May 28, 2012 through both Angie's List AND the company's own web-site. Both emails were very detailed with the work I was looking to have done and the address of the property. I also included 2 different ways to contact me: 1) my email address and 2) my personal cell phone number. I heard NOTHING from this company until June 8, 2012 when the owner left me a casual voice-mail in which he confirmed that he received my inquiry through Angie's List and was just following up. When we ultimately spoke he did apologize for not getting in touch with me sooner and began to explain that my email must have gone into his SPAM folder since it was from Angie's List. I'm still not sure how he ever found it or if he ever received the additional email I had sent from my personal email account through his own company's web-site. I briefly explained again what work I was looking to have done. When I was finished he informed me that he was booked up until August and asked if I could wait until then for the work to be done. I told him that I could probably work with that. So, he proceeded to tell me that he couldn't get to my property to meet with me until at least, June 14th. I agreed on that date, even though looking back, it would have been nice if he had tried to meet with me sooner; being that I had already waited nearly 2 weeks to hear from them. So, on June 14th, after arriving late for our meeting, he spent nearly 2 hours mostly telling me about all the different trees there are and why all my existing plants and trees HAD "to go". I never really felt like he had an actual plan in mind. I basically felt like I had wasted 2 hours of my time. As we left, the owner said he would email me pictures of different trees and plant options for me to look over. I am STILL waiting. I did try reaching out to the owner after weeks had gone by. I left a message with someone in his office, a receptionist I believe, requesting an estimate of some sort or at least a phone call! Someone from his office did eventually return my phone call. Sort of. One, early evening, my phone rang........once. The person hung up after just one ring, before I could even get to my phone. He or she never left a message. I know the owner said that he probably wouldn't be able to complete my job until sometime in August, but I really wish he would have set the proper expectations and rather said that he wouldn't even talk to me or give me an estimate until August! That's assuming that he ever intended on contacting me again, at all! Even if he does call, I'm pretty sure that I won't be hiring Warner Landscaping any time soon. If he didn't want or need my business, I really wish he would have just said that from the beginning. I have no idea if this man or his company is actually any good at Landscaping or not. If you can get passed the absence of communication, maybe they will be able to help you. But, proceed with caution. I'm not sure that a company without simple follow-up skills is worth hiring.

They were punctual, totally explained it, and the job was great. They work diligently. They had some left over sod and they brought it over and put it in instead of grass seed. It's little things like that. They were here on time, 3 guys worked straight through all day, they were professional, and they accommodating to me in the fact that I wanted to do the job myself but he told me everything that needed to be done and gave me a quote then did it.
