I have six oak barrel shaped kitchen chairs with armrests, on casters. We like the chairs but the material on them was getting "tired." My husband & I had chosen Kravet material at another location, but I wanted to have Hille's price the job as well. Their material cost was a couple hundred dollars less, good because the chairs were barrel-style and the backs were upholstered as well, requiring almost 2 yards of material per chair. (We had them do other work for us in the past; the work was always done well.) They came and picked up the chairs and measured the window. A couple of weeks later, my kitchen looked new. Sherry was very responsive. They have tons of the same fabric sample books decorators and furniture stores use.

I just saw Hille's response to my review where it says that it was willing to take my chairs to another upholsterer. At no time was this offer made even during months of negotions with the BBB. I wpuld have accepted the offer upon certain conditions. Further it looks like Hille's has dropped its memebership with BBB after my complaint was closed as unresolved.

I contracted with Hille to have two vintage sling chairs reupholstered. The seat is now squeezed into the frame, pressing against the hand rest. The seat does not fit properly into the two notches of the frame. The daughter picked out expensive material. There was materials left over. Why she did not use all the material, I have no idea. She lied and denied everything. I would not use this provider, or recommend them.

Sherry at Frank Hille provided a quick, free estimate based on 2 photographs of my armchair. Unfortunately reupholstering turns out to be a lot more expensive than I would ever have guessed, and since I have 3 clawed cats I decided not to pursue this option. I would definitely contact them again for future upholstering needs.

great this is not the first time using them. they understood what i was looking for and helped coordinate the patterns.

The service was excellent. They had a wide variety of fabrics available and they were very helpful in helping us pick out material quickly. I have recommended them since this time.

Hille did an absolutely beautiful job. They were very helpful picking out fabrics (they have a ton to choose from) and picked/dropped off exactly when they said they would. I will definitely work with them again.

They are excellent. I took it to them and they redid everything. They did a beautiful job. They did an exceptional job for both of them and I am thrilled because I was able to save the furniture. I would highly recommend them.
