Description of Work: It took less than 10 minutes as all done was replace the spring inside toilet bowl(with something I could have purchased at Home Depot for under $4.00). When I mentioned this the comment I got was, "at least you got a discount because of Angie's List"

Description of Work: I spoke with the provider about obtaining a quote and he told me that he would be happy to come out and look at the project and provide a quote only if he was assured he would get the job. Otherwise he would charge a quote fee. I've never in my life have come across something like this where I'm told I can get a quote for free if he gets the job otherwise there's a charge. I work in sales myself and provide multiple quotes daily and would never say that to a customer. Buyer beware!

Description of Work: back flow valves installed on this visit. We have used Burgo a few times over the past few months as we have been renovating a house. They are prompt to call back, able to schedule within a reasonable period of time, are professional and productive. We have been very pleased with the quality of the work.

Description of Work: I had a leak from my upstairs bath into my downstairs study. The house is a 1932 house. It turned out that the original pipes were rusted out and had to be replaced. The study ceiling had to be opened up. I had used Burgos before and trusted that they know what they are doing. They removed the pipes and cut them up and hauled them away. They explained everything to me and kept my house clean. It took a couple of days. They advised me to call my homeowners insurance to cover the water damage and repair of my study. I did and the homeowners reimbursed me for the contractor I had to hire to repair my study. I used Burgos in December 2009 to repair a broken curb trap. The first company I called out couldn't fix the problem. Burgow came out and replaced the broken trap with PVC piping and a Tee fitting. The cost was $750. I have no idea whether the prices for these jobs were high as I did not get any other estimates. I know they can do the work and I wanted the work done. They know what they are doing.
