Phil is so easy and accommodating. His workers are kind, neat, and meticulous. We are getting so many compliments on our new steps and walkway!! Highly recommend Sampson!!

Phil and his crew have done 3 projects for me so far (built a deck, redone a wood floor and done a complete bathroom remodel) and they have been EXCELLENT every time. The guys are not only nice and respectful, they clean up after themselves each day and are mindful of your space (they would ask if they could use the garage space for painting, etc). They also asked questions along the way to ensure they were doing things the way I wanted as the homeowner AND they went over and above ensuring every aspect of the job was done perfectly. I've used a lot of contractors over the years and Phil and his crew are above and beyond the rest. I highly recommend them.

I needed to have some structural work done in my basement. I wanted someone local and found Samson on my search. The previous year I had a roof job not through Samson and that job went from the original estimate of 13k to 57k after it was finished. I had a major distrust of contractors in general at this point. My fear of going way over budget was a big concern but Phil came out twice to assure me that the price quoted would be the price I paid and it was. Phil was terrific in explaining what would be done and he was always prompt with communicating. His crew was terrific, very professional and they cleaned up very well when the project was finished.

From the very first phone call, our experience with Samson Contractors was simply amazing. We needed help installing a new column in our basement and replacing another one, and Phil completely made us feel at ease with the entire process. Even before we commissioned the team for the work, Phil spent a good 45 minutes on the phone with me to understand the history of our problem and the work that needed to be done; he came to our home and did a thorough investigation before working up the plan. And when it came time to complete the work, he and his team did so expertly, with an eye toward precision, cleanliness and superior workmanship. The men on his team are not only good at what they do, they are very nice guys as well! Any home construction effort can be exceptionally stressful, but with Samson Contractors, anxieties are alleviated because you know your home is in solid and capable hands. Highly recommend!!!

Samson Contracting was one of the finest contractors I have worked with in New Jersey. It is a local contractor and everything went smoothly. They came to the job site with their equipment and all of the material they needed for the job at hand in advance. The senior crew members had 8 to 10 years of experience working at Samson. Mr. Bosco, the owner, was on site every day monitoring the work and the progress. They finished the work on my project ahead of schedule and on budget. My project involved updating and improving a large outdoor deck. Everything they worked on was a materially better upgrade over the original deck construction. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAMSON CONTRACTING.

Phil and his guys were excellent. Everything he did, he told us up front and the work was thorough, on target, complete and overall excellent. The clean up equally excellent. You want a contractor that you can rely on. Most contractors say one thing and then at least one element changes as they get into the work. Not so with Phil...he was on point throughout. Perhaps the best thing you want from a contractor is reliability. Not only is Phil the ONLY reliable contractor we have ever used, he called or emailed us back immediately, no exaggeration. Every time. No one has ever done that. Phil is a great builder and his men equally so. He is the best!

My husband and I looked into several local companies to compare estimates on redoing our paver patio. Samson contracting had the best price and was simply the most amiable. Phil, the owner, was always available via text and email. His team of two men began work early Thursday morning and was completely finished on Tuesday, just after five full days of work. They left our backyard cleaner than when they started! Samson Contracting will be the only company we’ll use in the future. We highly recommend this team.

The job was performed in the time frame that Samson projected. The work was excellent, and the crew was professional, responsive and artistic. The crew cleaned the site very well after the work was done. We were charged the price quoted and nothing more. We would hire again and recommend to others.

I contacted Samson for an estimate in regards to correcting very poor workmanship on a shed built by another contractor. Phil came out to look at the project and while unfortunately it was something he could not assist with at the present time, he was kind enough to share some tips with me as to how I can remediate the situation to a certain degree. He even followed up with an email afterwards to share a link to a product he recommended I use. While I did not get the opportunity to use his services, his assistance and follow up are enough for me to keep him in mind for my next project.

Sometimes one just gets lucky. We needed to replace our deck. I saw the Samson trailer driving up Clinton Ave in Tenafly, photographed the advertisement and telephoned. Oh joy. My deck was replaced to the highest standard. My son-in-law is the responsible for the maintenance of the multiple UNESCO sites in Philadelphia, including Liberty Hall. He was laudatory about the quality of the work. Months later there was a problem with the integral lighting. It was expeditiously corrected. If you are lucky enough to get Samson for a project, take them. You will be delighted.

Phil completed everything that was in the contract in a timely fashion and responded quickly to any calls or texts. They also did a great job on the tile floor, but we do not have any photos of that. My son was doing the Electrical work AFTER Samson Contracting finished their work. The Electric is NOT completed in the photos, and was not Samson Contracting's responsibility!

Everything completed and cleaned up as promised. Workers did a great job! Phil was always available.

From the first meeting for an estimate, Phil was clear, honest, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a an absolute pleasure to work with. He and his team trouble shooted several intricacies because our deck was not rectangular to retrofit in new posts and a composite system that also included the use of mahogany top rails. They are craftsmen in the truest old world sense! The work area was always neat and they left the yard as if they had never been there. The level of communication was timely and clear always... we always new what was going on and they had our backs through the whole process. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any such work!
