Tools To The Rescue

Rudy (dba Tools to the Rescue) responded quickly to our inquiries and to subsequent requests. He maintained an aggressive schedule to finish the project quickly. He and his team worked rain or shine. We are pleased with the finished product and have enjoyed many hours on the deck since its completion. It was also a plus to be able to hire someone who makes his home in our neighborhood.

Rudy called me right back and came within a half hour. It was a beautiful warm day, so he said it would do it right then. He did a great job. He has done work for me in the past and I am always pleased. I highly recommend him.

I called three different handy men. Rudy was the only one to call me back promptly. He set up a time for come the next day to see what needed to be done. He came on time and gave us a price. We hired him, and he came back the next day to fix it. He did a great job. Covered area so it wouldn't get dusty, and cleaned up completely when done. He also fixed another small hole in another part of the wall and didn't charge me any extra. Would definitely use him again and recommend him.

Rudy and Orlando were very professional and prompt. They showed up on time and went right to work. They were very neat and did exactly what we wanted in a reasonable time frame. Rudy recommended a storm door for us which was exactly what we wanted. We had an overall good result and couldn't be more satisfied with the work.

He was very good. He cleaned up very well, and was on time. I don't think he was around for awhile and I found someone else. If he was around I would recommend him to someone.

Very well. Rudy works so quickly - it's unbelievable what he accomplishes in a day! His work was perfection, he is very neat, and very professional. What I appreciated most, however, was his honesty. He told me what he couldn't do. After having so many contractors telling me they could do something, when they had never done it before, was refreshing. My husband and I thought his prices were very reasonable. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

They arrived perfectly on time and were in and out before I even had to leave for work. Quick, clean, friendly, and well done. Would suggest his services 10 times out of 10 and will definitely be calling him back when needed.

Poor Rudy had to wade through mounds of garbage and junk just to get me an estimate. He worked with me via phone and email being that I am not local. Which is usually hard for service providers to do. He patched walls, re-painted, replaced locks, light fixtures, etc. Very professional. Even had a contract prepared.

Rudy did a great job. He was prompt, professional and very neat. He explained what he was going to do and did it without a fuss. . The best part was that he removed a birds nest (without me asking) which I could not have done myself. I definitely would use his services again as well as recommend him to my friends

Easy and wonderful. Rudy called me back promptly and said he would come over first thing the following day and take a look at the situation. I thought he was going to take a look at it then say he would need to go out to get the materials and schedule another appointment. He came over exactly when he said he would, it took him maybe 45 minutes to fix our sink and he was out of here. He was very professional, quick and easy to work with. We would hire him again!

Rudy did a great job of building the fence section and gate out of all new cedar to match the existing fence and was finished in less than a day.

Excellent work above and beyond what was expected. Everything was done in a professional manner and when it was completed he also cleaned in every room. He takes pride in his work and does show up on time everyday. Neat and caring and affordable pricing. This is our second time using Rudy and we would use him again.

Our basement had an old pantry space bordered by a load-bearing beam that was severely warped and cracking. Rudy was able to brace the ceiling and replace the beam with a much thicker one, and even added a veneer to cover a gap between it and an adjacent pipe. He drywalled the entire space with anti-mold drywall, put up shelves, and re-framed the door. He even raised the lighting fixture inside to make it flush with the ceiling. Great experience as always.

He did an excellent job. It was not an easy install as the door needed to be moved out slightly and the jam extended. He came on time, was very professional and courteous, and easy to deal with. I would hire him again.

We could not be happier. Excellent workmanship. My husband who wasn't home when the work was being done commented that he couldn't even tell where the hole had been. I had only one day off and Rudy came back and forth several times to ensure that the job was complete ( including painting!) all in one day! And he was neat and cleaned up thoroughly. From now on, Rudy of Tools to the Rescue is our go to guy!

Everything went great. Our exterior door base was in terrible shape, and Rudy was able to bring it back to spec, even installing a veneer so it looks new. Our storm door didn't close, and he took the time to re-align everything so it doesn't bang around in the wind anymore. Great experience.
