Description of Work: Rudy helped me out with a few projects around the house including renovating a laundry room floor (tile) and building a mudroom shelf and bench (carpentry). The laundry room floor was a complicated job and he used creative thinking and made what was an eyesore into something beautiful. Rudy does nice work and he is dependable. He always arrived or called when he said he would.

Description of Work: Rudy was A+. He was professional and replaced ceiling tiles in my basement, tightened my handrail and patched a hole in the sheetrock. He also fixed a broken bed board. He will call me with an estimate to do my deck and patch and paint the foundation of my house. It is great to find someone so reliable and prompt. I will definitely pass his name on to friends.

Description of Work: They painted a bedroom, half bath and family room ceiling. In the bathroom they removed everything, tiled the floor, installed toilet, vanity, sink and mirror. Rudy came with me to choose and pick up whatever else was needed. He arrived promptly every day and completed the work in a timely manner.

Description of Work: For the safety of my elderly father, we needed to have the bathroom door re-worked to swing out into the hallway rather than into the bathroom. This is an older home and the work required a carpenter. Mr. Camerino came to inspect the house on Saturday, and seeing that this was an emergency, had the work done by Tuesday. Mr. Camerino was able to reuse the existing door, which saved money and allowed the door to continue to match the other doors in the hallway. .

Because ground hogs had been burrowing under old wood lattice and getting under my porch, I needed to remedy the situation.. Rudy took apart the old lattice, dug several inches underground, and securely placed new vinyl lattice in the opening under my porch and underground. He was thorough, and strove to get the job done correctly. He then cleaned up the area and made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. Rudy was very pleasant and personable.

I had been searching for a while for someone to do a few repairs around my home and had been unsuccessful at finding someone who was responsive as well as affordable. Rudy was both of those things! He responded quickly to my request for an estimate and before I knew it, the work was completed. I highly recommend Rudy for his responsiveness, knowledge and thoroughness and will definitely use him again.

His prices are affordable, and the quality of his work is outstanding. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that he is a master carpenter/craftsman. He designed and built a hinged wall portal that was well beyond the capability of a typical handymen. I will be using him exclusively for all future work around my house, be it a large or small task.

AND HE CLEANS UP and I mean EVERYTHING!!!! He is one of the cleanest workers I have ever had in my home, Any woman who has had workers in their home knows how much this means, Rudy is on time when he says he will arrive. And when Rudy cannot come at the agreed time or stay till the agreed time, he will ACTUALLY CALL YOU!!! There are no unexpected surprises with Rudy -- Tools to The Rescue is exactly that ... Absolute professionalism at its best!!!
Description of Work: Tools to the Rescue performed the following as I have to get my home ready for sale: repair and sand kitchen ceiling; prime and paint kitchen ceiling; painted inside hall closet; bought and installed hall closet shelving; installed steel rug holders into cement floors; installed and painted 1/4 round in dining room and kitchen; repaired 1/4 round in living room; repaired screen door--spring pulled away from frame (he installed new full length piece of wood!); polyed my front porch ceiling; painted stair risers; (I probably forget a thing or do here) and repaired an inside cabinet opening above stove (where venting was coming inside cabinet instead of directly into vent).
