Rudy does excellent work, and is quite busy because of it. Still, he will come through and do a "handyman's" job professionally, and so for that reason he is someone to hire. He worked on a bathroom's shower area by reattaching a tile, and grouting older, less "clean" gaps between tiles as well as tub and tile. Also, he caulked areas around bedroom and bathroom windows that had bad air leakage, particularly noticeable during the winter months. Thanks to his work, I may have avoided additional decay of these areas, and the expenses to go with them.

The plaster wall was cracked and bulging in places. I didn't want to replace the wall sections. Rudy came and applied spackle. He made several trips to the house to apply the spackle. each layer had to dry subsequent layers. He did a great job, was always on time, and left no messes behind. If you need someone for your project, look no further.

Financial setbacks prevented us from going ahead with the work. However, we will be calling on Rudy in the future.

Tools to the Rescue is the best of the best and the only contractor I trust alone in my house. They did an absolutely incredible job ripping out my 1937 lathe, metal wire, and plaster bathroom and replacing it with a shiny, new, modern one. Tools to the Rescue managed every part of the job while we were on vacation and communicated with us as needed, and sent progress photos, keeping us fully in the loop. They helped walked us through the entire design process as well, letting us know the pros and cons of each of our potential decisions. Tools to the Rescue went the extra mile to stay late whenever necessary to get the job done on time and under budget. Their craftsmanship is beyond compare and they never settle for anything less than perfection. Tools to the Rescue were very personable and exceptionally clean, leaving everything sparkling clean each day. He and I talked over the phone about the scope of work. He asked to send a picture of the window with the window size and work location. I sent bunch of pictures with other information. Then, we exchanged texts as following. He asked me if I can wait until the spring because he has jobs lined up until it gets cold. So, I asked him why he would want the pictures if he already had many jobs and thus can't do my jobs soon. Then, he wrote "WOW... I just got booked up again." and "Your text was rude." I don't find my text rude, and believe I asked a reasonable question because he had no reason to ask me for sending pictures when he can't do the job soon. I believe he became arrogant based on the positive reviews he has received. I suggest other readers consider his attitude. Human being changes.

Great. Today was very fast and responsive and understood the time limit and got the work done.

Rudy is a real pro and does high quality work. He used a high end miter saw to make all the molding cuts and made many suggestions for achieving the best installation.

It all went well. Rudy Cammerino (Tools to the Rescue) completed all work in a high quality manner. He installed an attic ladder which he had planned out beforehand and had all the required materials and hardware when he came to my home. He propped up the kitchen sink, which was primarily supported by the PVC pipe beneath the sink, and glued supports to the counter in a very tight space. He repaired a banister which previously was not screwed into the wood stud. Rudy found the stud and the banister is now securely attached to the wall, which he spackled afterward. Three of the upstairs doors rubbed against their door jambs and were difficult to open and close. Rudy sanded down the door edges until they opened and closed easily and quietly. Rudy placed caulk around the bathroom floor and shower stall after removing the old grout. Rudy pointed out that grout should not have been used since it is brittle and cracks easily. Rudy also patched and spackled a damaged wall in the basement and I can now barely see the patch. Rudy is a very professional handyman. He completed all work in a timely manner, did things correctly, and charged a fair price. I would highly recommend Rudy to anyone who needs the services of a handyman.

We have hired Rudy's "Tools to the Rescue" many times over the years. Obviously, we continue to use him because we are very satisfied with his work. On our bathroom renovation job he had to coordinate the timing of his work with the timing needs of the plumber and the needs of the electrician. Everything went well, and we are very satisfied.

Installation of the attic ladder was planned out and all materials needed were brought to my home before the work began. The kitchen sink, which was supported mostly by the PVC pipe beneath, was propped up and supports to hold it in place were glued to the bottom of the counter in a very tight space. The screws holding the banister not previously in the wood stud but Rudy found the stud and the banister is now strongly attached to the wall. Three upstairs wood doors rubbed against the door jambs, making them hard to open and close so Rudy sanded the door edges until they opened and closed smoothly. Rudy also recognized that the almond-colored caulk would match the bathroom colors (I would have used white). Overall, Rudy was very professional, cleaned up after each task, and charged a fair price for the work performed. I would recommend Rudy (Tools to the Rescue) to anyone needing the services of a handyman.

I had a long-standing problem with a wooden door that would not open when the weather got humid. Couldn't even have a door knob on it because I'd pull it off trying to get the door open. It looked awful too. Rudy was friendly, professional, and prompt. He was responsive and communicated to manage my expectations. He consulted with me on which type of door was best, so I wouldn't continue to have this problem. He was efficient and installed it beautifully. He even made a special trip to come back and help me take it out to the front, so I could arrange to get it taken away. Cost was about average/expected for materials and labor. He will do further work for me. Very happy with Tools to the Rescue!
