It was time for a roof replacement and I called Mezini roofing for the estimate. We arranged a meeting, but no one came. I called back and talked to Jim. He apologised and came 2 hours later. I really liked the level of professionalism and the fact that he did not try to force any decisions on me. Once we've decided that's the company we want to work with, all was flawless. We set a day, the crew was here at 7:30am. They worked really hard all day, came the second day and finished all of it in a couple of hours. My roof is gorgeous, no leaks after a heavy rain. They cleaned up really well. I would definitely recommend working with this company.

The representative of the company did not show up for two appointments to inspect the roof. These were appointments that he made with me. Each time I waited and wasted my time. When I complained to Angie's List, they were of no assistance.

Had someone come to give me an estimate on one of my properties said would get back to him. This person was very courteous and appreciated his straight forwardness. Couple of days later I had an emergency come up with another one of my properties and had asked them if they can come take a look. This being an emergency I probably would have gone with them either way but the guy who answered was very rude. He wanted me to agree to the for price quote before going to see the other property. Again this was an emergency and was going to accept them to do the work even though the price was a little on the high side. However, after this call I refuse to do any business with them. Congrats pal..you just lost a customer!

We had some leaks that we didn't notice until we saw some paint on our ceilings beginning to peel. We live in Clifton and looked up a few different local roofing companies. After comparing different companies, we decided to have Mezini roofing come and take a look at our roof and completely redo it. They did an amazing quality job and their team was quick. Would definitely suggest them to friends.

Scheduled estimate and contractor never showed up. Made several attempts to reschedule to no avail.

My mother and I met with Jim to get an estimate for either a new roof or another layer added to the existing roof, and also a repair on the gutters. Jim was a really nice guy who told us it would be better to get a brand new roof, and he would reinforce the old gutters with screws instead of the old nails, and that the gutters would be fine. He said he would be there during the whole time the job was being performed, and that it would probably take two days. Jim called me a few days after we signed the contract and said he and his men would be at my mother's house on a Saturday, and the job would only take one day because he would have a lot of men with him. Well, Jim was not there, it was his "partner," who we had never met. They did complete the job in one day, and they were very good at cleaning up the mess on the outside. However, my son, who lives in the second floor apartment, went up to the attic a few days later and was hit with old wood filled with nails when he opened up the pull-down attic stairs. The whole attic was filled with the old wood that was just pushed through when the new roof was installed. When I called Jim about this, the next day he sent his partner with one other worker, and they cleaned up all the wood. There is no excuse for old wood with nails being left in the attic. Three people were home in the house when this job was finished, and there was access to the attic all day. The other problem we had was that the gutters were never touched, and some were actually left hanging off the side of the house. I called Jim about this, who sent two of his workers who unclogged one drain and did small repairs on two more spots. My son took pictures of the nails that were sticking out of the gutters, send them to Jim, and he sent his partner to the house, who climbed a ladder and knocked in a few nails, not ringing the doorbell to speak to my mother or my son to see what really needed to be done. Jim has not responded to my messages about the gutters not being secured with screws instead of nails, despite the fact that he went into this long explanation about why that was necessary when he came to give the initial estimate. This is clearly a company that is trying to take on too much work to make as much money as possible, and the quality of the work is suffering for it. I feel if Jim himself had been there to oversee the job, a lot of these problems wouldn't have occurred. We've had a lot of rain this past week, and so far the roof hasn't leaked, so I hope at least the roof itself was done right.

Jim is a straight forward guy. We chose him because he is GAF approved Master Elite (only 2% are Master Elite). The next reason why we chose him is that he can perform the work ASAP and his quote is reasonable. We have the roof and gutters totally removed and replaced. He was onsite with his crew on the day the job begin (5 workers). I did also take the day off from work to take before and after picture. At the same time, saw the work performed for the whole roof while I stood outside the house. Gutters was replaced yesterday since Monday was pouring. Now the roof and gutters looked amazing. Will definitely use Jim again in the future.

Everything went great. The price was fair, they showed up on time, were very professional, were very responsive, and worked quickly and efficiently. They also cleaned up all of the debris and nails.

Amazing experience. The front steps are beautiful. I recommend this company to anyone considering roofing, siding or masonry.

I think he was just very professional, very pleasant, responsive and all those things.

They fixed the brick step beautifully, like perfectly. It was where a banister goes in, so it got a lot of wear and tear, and it's very strong and pretty. It looks perfect and it's very strong and very sturdy. They went all the way in the bottom and took it apart and did a very thorough, very nice looking job.

Perfectly. He came and gave us a very reasonable quote, while below others we received. The quality of the work was amazing and they were on time too. His crew was awesome to work with and they cleaned up all the mess.

I was referred to Mezini Roofing from a colleague at work. Jim came on time and Gave is an estimate for the whole roofing job including sealing the chimney. Although, we did get two other estimates, Jim was near other companies. We chose Mezini solely based on our colleagues recommendation. We paid the deposit and scheduled a day for the job to be complete. His team showed up early and finished late afternoon. The gutters were installed the following day along with with the chimney cap. So far I'm satisfied with his work. He is a a certified GAF installer and came with a system plus warranty. I would recommend Mezini for your roofing jobs.
