Joe arrived within an hour after I called him to fix my lock. It was such a relief as it was a front door deadbolt. He did a great job and was personable. Joe needed to come back to fix another lock and called to confirm when he would arrive. This is exactly what I look for-- someone who does a good job, is responsive and reliable. He was reasonably priced, too! Would definitely recommend and hire again!

Joe was great! He traveled out a little further than his normal working area to take care of us. We even had an unexpected scheduling conflict and Joe was very flexible and accommodating of our needs. He was also very easy to reach by phone. He's a really good guy with a lot of experience. Great. All of our entrance doors had something wrong on the door or the screen door. One a loose part , another a loose handle, another door had a difficult handle.. I called 3 locksmiths and 2 called back but Joe called back fastest and when he could not speak to me - he called back again. He came over a few days later and found solutions for all of difficulties which required a bit of problem solving. He is a really nice and honest guy who charged a fair price and didn't reject our small odd job. I would definitely hire him again.

My front door lock was old and stuck. Construction contractors said I would have to change the door as the lock is old and the slots in the door would not fit newer locks. Joe stopped by and fixed it in a hour, for a reasonable price. Pretty happy with the outcome. He was very honest and helpful with the whole thing. Lucky to have found Joe!

Excellent job. He knew exactly what he was doing both with historic locks and new locks. He knew how to diagnose what was wrong and how to repair. Now the historic deadbolt lock works perfectly. He was very professional. He did not make a mess, and was careful to clean up what little there was. His pricing was extremely reasonable. He did not try to expand the job beyond what was needed.

Joe's came out twice. First time former owners were not totally out. Second time sheriff was on hand and work was completed. Locksmith came in. Knew exactly what needed to be done and even offered suggestions on garage lock.

Very happy with Joe's service! He was friendly, professional and personable. He started by reviewing the doors and locks, making some suggestions and set a plan. With each door, he had all the supplies he needed in his truck. He saved older screws that were longer to use than with the new sets. After each install, he cleaned up any mess and trash. He was here about 90 minutes - installed a front door lock and deadbolt and two interior doors locks with keys. His pricing was very reasonable - his labor cost was very low vs. supplies. I would recommend Joe's Lock and Key and would use him again.
