 + -1 moreWhile I initially balked at the price, I have to say the job that they did was excellent. The floor was sanded, lacquered, then coated with two coats of gymnasium varnish, finished with buffing and polishing. The floors and sills look phenomenal, and the quality of the work was definitely as promised. The owner and his staff were pleasant and professional, and definitely delivered on his promise. I would recommend his work in a heartbeat.

 + 0 moreWas very prompt when coming to give estimate. Work was done on time and when scheduled. Job estimate/price was very reasonable and it is what we were charged. No Extras! My Suggestion is to communicate exactly what you want from your contractor so the job is done right the first time!
Description of Work: Refinished oak floors with oil based polyurethane finish. Had a miscommunication regarding finish. Wanted a gloss finish to match the rest of the house. However, a matte finish was used. Came back to refinish floors again the following week with gloss finish. Job was done very well the first time. However, the second time there were bubbles, dust and hair throughout entire floor which we can still see. So, we have a the right finish but w. lots of little imperfections. Note: Was not charged for second visit.

Description of Work: Dave sanded, varnished and refinished all our hardwood floors throughout the house approx. 1800 sq ft. We live in Upper Montclair. He was so great we also got him to do our apt in Hoboken
