Everything went very well. They described the process and how long it would take...and that's what happened. they were prompt, professional and the work was beautiful.

John and his team did a great job on our floors! They worked hard to make sure the dust was kept at a minimum. They took care to seal doorways and worked around our schedule so it was not as interruptive as we thought. The floors look beautiful! Blesing made recommendations on the type of finish and the rooms that they thought could use the refinishing-they did not try to sell me anything that I felt was unnecessary. They were efficient and did a great job! I would have not hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs new or updated wood flooring...

Went well. Was able to re-nail loose flooring and did not have to replace the flooring, saving $250.

They came back immediately. I had over-looked something, and they came right back. They were very prompt and responsive. The work they did was great, it looks as good as new.

John was very professional and honest during the estimate process. We would have gone with him if our contractor had not felt strongly about us going with another company. We appreciated John's attention to detail during our walk through. He came in with a strong estimate that we were happy with.

I have a good opinion of them. They do a good job. The floors were done beautifully. I didn’t have problem with them at all. My overall experience was great. I called them and they came when they were supposed to. They did what they said they were going to do. The prep that they did little bit before refinishing the floor could have been better as it got into my cabinets. But it’s not a big deal. Their price was fair. Their price was in between all the other estimates that I got. I would use them in the future.

I purchased a 101 year old house in late August 2011 which still has the original flooring. The first floor and the staircase are oak, and the 2nd floor is pine. The floors were generally in decent condition, but the finish was worn off in many places. There were also several visible holes drilled through the floors in various places to run cables. The house was converted from steam radiator to hot water baseboard heat a few decades ago, and the floors where the old radiator cutouts were looked pretty bad. A prior owner had filled them with some white material. I also had a large closet which was covered in particle board that I wanted to have cleaned up and made to look like the rest of the house (I had no idea what was under the particle board). I wanted all of these things corrected so the house would look as original as possible, which is now does. I was referred to Blesing by a coworker who had used him two times in the past and was very happy with the results. It also turns out that Blesing repaired and refinished the hardwood floors in my parents house about 8 years ago as well, so I had first had experience to evaluate how the floors held up over the years (They are still beautiful). Blesing came to measure promptly, was very professional and knowledgeable, and sent me an itemized quote the next day. Blesing's quote was similar in cost to other quotes I obtained, and he proposed oil based poly. These fact combined with referrals led me to select Blesing. The Blesing Crew showed up on time and worked very hard sanding right away. I had many board replaced which was done with great skill and quality. The crew members had many years (up to 10-20 years) of experience and their work was excellent which is important when you have really old floors. Here is the sequence of events: WEDNESDAY - The crew came on Wed to sand repair boards THURSDAY - Finish sanding and repairing boards (I asked for some extra board replacement and Blesing accommodated), vacuumed the whole house, & laid down the stain (which they let me pick from a few samples they showed me on my floors) SATURDAY - Light sanding, vacuuming & first coat of oil based poly MONDAY - Light sanding, vacuuming & final coat of oil based poly (I was able to pick the finish and chose Satin) THURSDAY - I was able to use the floors. I wound up letting the floors sit for 3 weeks before moving any furniture on them as I was going on a long vacation. I waited a while to write the review to see how the floors held up and they are wonderful. I love the way they look and I get many comments on how nice they are. I have a large dog with giant nails that runs around like a puppy and he has barely made any marks on the floor to my surprise. I have several friends who refinished floors themselves, and the end result was nowhere near the quality result I got with Blesing. I highly recommend Blesing and will be using him for any future needs.

They were very good. They were quick and efficient. The job was done nicely. There were a couple of small edge pieces that needed to be sanded after the fact and it was all done very promptly. They were very good and very nice. There were no complications and I would definitely recommend them. I would absolutely use them again.

The way the job was described to me was the way the job was done. The crew was punctual (7:30 am) and worked until 5:30 pm. The crew did not wast time. The job was completed in 3 days. At the end of each day the crew cleaned up and the house was left spotless. The floor look great. I recommend Blessing very highly.

John came over and gave estimate which was a fair price. Always showed as scheduled-on time-workers were very accommodating to help with any last minute details. Floors came out great and we were very satisfied with job. Had called over some friends to put all furniture back and moving piano left 2 long marks on new floor. Called them back to see if they could possibly repair damage. They promptly attempted to fix but the only proper way would be to resand all rooms and recoat to match. John came back to look at repair and agreed to resand and recoat- material cost only. Completely professional way he handled the situation and I was thrilled with final job. These guys were great from beginning to end and really made what is never a fun experience-sanding and moving furniture-a lot easier. Would highly recommend in the future!

Owner gave an estimate for doing floors with and w/o staining. They came at the date and time agreed to and were very efficient. Dust created was minimal. They did 2 rooms, let them dry, applied second coat and came back to do the other room and hallway when drying was completed. It was determined by them that staining was not necessary, which saved us a few hundred dollars. We had some very heavy furniture pieces that could not be lifted back into place without marring new finish, so owner provided device that eliminated the problem. Job was completed on time and it was excellent.
